The food is hit or miss. I go a lot because I like the atmosphere and the beer is cold. Today was a big miss. Sat there at the bar and sat there and sat there while the bartender talked. Then she went to her register and typed for a while still ignoring me. Then after more waiting a guy came in and she took his order. I got up and said I'll go somewhere else. No one cared, or stopped me. The local sports bar feeling is gone here. They're just too big to care. It's like eating in an Arby's that has alcohol. (Arby's owns BW3's by the way) It's time for me to find a local sports bar that cares and isn't $50 for one guy to have lunch. I'm adding this as an edit. Ordered off the app for delivery. They forgot my potato wedges. Called and they said you have to come get them. What's the point of delivery? I asked for a refund. They refunded me $1.75! Oh my goodness! We had a very poor experience today, we are extremely disappointed. We ordered drinks, one unsweetened, iced tea, one water, and one milk. I ask about sweeteners. She came back with the water and the tea but no milk and no sweetener. When ask about the milk, she looks surprised, and said oh yeah it's in the cooler I've got to get that. She came back without the milk to take our order. As she started the conversation, I asked if she could get the three-year-old their milk very nicely and she said oh yeah and left and did bring it back but still no sweetener. We ordered for the three of us and I gave her my phone number then, telling her I was using a reward. Finally she came back with sweetener, I had said Splenda or regular sugar, and she brought me four of the pink packets, which I would never use sweet-n-low. I simply gave up at that point. Our food came out, being brought by kitchen staff not our waitress. Please keep in mind that at this point it was not busy and there were several other waitresses and they seem to be doing just fine. We needed ranch for the toddlers chicken strips and had mentioned it from the ordering process and the delivery process and we still didn't have it. It took about 10 minutes before we even seen her again and we asked her for napkins because we had none, literally zero were given, and the ranch. About six or seven minutes later, I would say she came out with napkins. We mentioned the ranch again. She disappeared and brought it back. Refills were never given, I literally asked for another iced tea towards the end of the mail, and she brought me a to go cup. Finally, the bill came and she had never entered the phone number. I had given her into the system so the bill was over $18 more than it should've been. I mentioned it to her and she said oh I must've thrown the paper away with your number on it , but then she said, let me go try again without ever asking for the number a second time, and did bring back a correct bill. It was, for lack of better words, a hot mess! We have been regulars at the Saint Mary's location, as it's close to Church, and we have never had an experience anything like this. We have also stopped regularly on vacations that we have because it's a familiar place and generally we know what the food will be, and what the service is like. What a cluster experience!!! I was told on the phone I could order the BoGo burger when I walked & I did. She thought I ordered it on line as I sat there for 20 min. When they figured it out they took my order. Once the order came out & I tried to pay they said I had to order it using the app. Walked out with no for after a 12 hour shift. I am a big fan of bdubs... and have been for years. I used to go weekly back down in Miami/Homestead Florida when i lived down there pre-pandemic. Heck i love chicken wings... its just wonderful to have a plate full of them with a cold glass of beer. So earlier this year i found a bdubs in Lima and decided to start coming. I have been taking it to go since i only recently got my 2nd vaccine. Ive had pretty good experiences... until I came a few days ago. Once again, i came in to order wings/food for myself and family and take it home. I was in the area as i had just gotten out of a doctors appointment and entered to place an order. My brother and I were the only ones in their ordering to go area. We got there, were greeted and then a phone call came in. The restaurant employee then made us wait as she took the phone order. Now as i have said, i have been going to bdubs for years... i know that they will tell the phone person to wait on hold a bit when they are taking care of a customer. Nope, i came first but i had to wait.... And it was a long order. While she was taking the order 6-7 other people/couples showed up to the order area. After she was done with the phone call, i was asked if i placed an order to go already. As i hadn't, she made me wait till she took care of everyone else first! What?! Uhhh no! First come first serve! But, nope. So i waited and waited. When she was finally done with all those customers, she left and went into the kitchen! She then came back out 5 minutes later. I was livid. She took my order... the wait for the food was ridiculous probably another 30 minutes. I got my food and left. When i got home, my wings sucked....soggy, cold, bland. Went for dinner last night, experience was not good. Ordered 15 boneless honey BBQ, some wedges and my wife ordered a wrap with only grilled chicken and cheese. Wedges came out 10 mins before rest of food did (why?). When food came out, wife's wrap had mild sauce on it, wings were room temperature and almost no sauce, missing the celery (that I ordered). Waitress took the food back, brought out new​​ food, forgot the ranch and celery again. We asked another waitress to get our server for us and she didn't. Our server finally came over, we asked for the stuff she forgot, 10 mins later asked a Manager to bring us some. Finished eating and waited another 15 mins to get our bill, and only got it after asking another server to bring it. Bill was $53 for a wrap, an order of wedges and 15 boneless wings. Won't be back when Frickers is 30 seconds down the road, has great service, and would have been $20 cheaper. No wonder BW3 isn't busy anymore and Frickers always is. read more

And if you're lucky enough to have a normal female bartender, she doesn't remember anything you order and makes you wait forever. She also doesn't know what it means if you request an extra plate. My wife and I stopped in tonight for dinner, it's been a while since we have been here, so we wanted to give it a try. The place was pretty busy, but we were seated right away and our waitress, Hailey, was asking for our drink order within about 3 min. I had the brisket sandwich, my wife had the special which was a fish sandwich and we both ordered the steak fries, which Hailey recommended as her favorite. The food was very good although my wife wished the bun on the fish sandwich was a different style than was used on my brisket. Ordered online, got there and and it wasn't ready. I ordered a specific pickup time at 7. Ordered 10 boneless wings, a side salad, and two cups of ranch. Only received and charged for ten boneless wings, that were made in a hurry. No other customers were wearing masks, so I took mine off then told I had to put mine back on. My favorite sports bars in Lima!! I always receive great service here and my food & drinks are always good or they make it right. Best place to see a sporting event with your S/O or a group. I have been to this location many many times and never experienced bad service or unnecessary delays that others have referred to. I do not see the fascination with this particular restaurant, if it was not for the local college, doubt they would have the business they do. I ordered food, received food literally 3 minutes late, great, but when the food is cold (boneless wings) you know there is a problem. I do not know what fryers they use, but I know of none that food cooks that quick in. Overall the place is dirty as well. seem like they have a hard time keeping up with business. I would suggest going to one in Saint Mary's. much cleaner, food is even better, servers are more attentive, it is work the extra drive time!!
