I ordered the 20/20 bone in and boneless wings for a girls night. We were very disappointed. The wings were small, hard, and dry.

Placed an order for traditional wings from here and they were genuinely the worst I've ever had. There was barely any sauce on any of them. The chicken tasted old and was so dry and overcooked. Some of the wings were literally just bone with a tiny piece of chicken hanging off. For the prices you're charging for wings, you should at least have them be good quality. Don't go here unless you want to be ripped off and disappointed. Wish I could get my money back it was that bad. This place has gone seriously downhill. read more

So a bit of a story unfortunately. I was at the Miller Place Buffalo Wild Wings with my family on Thursday night for dinner. My dad got up and went to ask the hostess if he were to purchase a gift card, can we use that gift card to pay for dinner? She said YES. So my dad purchased the $100 gift card and got the $20 in bonus cards. We eat dinner and go to pay the bill when the waitress tells us NO you can not use the gift card because you have to wait a minimum of 4 hours. Ok. The complete opposite of what we were just told by another employee. But we figured we will be back and just use it another time. So my dad takes out his credit card again and pays an additional $100 for dinner. Today comes and I was on the app getting an order together to place to pick up for tomorrow. I of course intend on using this $100 gift card. I need the PIN number. I didnt have a coin to scratch it off so I used my key instead and it scratched off the entire PIN number making it unreadable. Of course I am annoyed that I now can not complete my order in the app but I drive to the Miller Place BWW to do my order in person and pay with the gift card. When I go to swipe the gift card, it says "card read error" and to try again. Myself and the employee helping me try multiple times to no avail. It keeps saying card read error (which now has NOTHING to do with the fact that the PIN number was scratched away) So now Mike the Manager of Miller Place comes out to try and help. He tells me there is nothing he can do and that this is definitely a bit of a situation because the PIN number is missing. He says he can't swap it out for a new gift card and was unable to check the balance online because of the missing PIN. I ask him if he can try a different terminal. He supposedly went somewhere else to try it and comes back to tell me it still didnt work and that I should try it at the Riverhead store instead (a solid 35-40 minute drive away) At this point Mike is thoroughly annoyed with me, does not want to further deal with the situation and makes me out to be a liar saying that he doesn't know if I used this giftcard since purchasing it on Thursday night. And that I am in the store causing this whole scene over a gift card that I secretly knew had been used. And he has no way of proving if I used it or not. I am genuinely telling him up and down that I DID NOT USE THIS GIFTCARD and that I would not be standing here all this time WITH MY THREE YEAR OLD daughter over a gift card that had been used as if I were trying to scam them for $100 I explained the whole story with the misinformation from Thursday night and his reply was "what did the hostess look like?" When I replied that I didn't know because it was MY DAD who got up from the table to ask, Mike shook his head and shrugged his shoulders that now I must REALLY be a liar since I couldn't tell him what his employee looked like. Meanwhile he could look at his schedule to see who was working at that time. I then call my dad to get the two separate credit card transactions from Thursday night along with a picture of both receipts. That from the gift card. And that from dinner. I go back in to show Mike who looks at it but then says it still doesn't prove that I didn't already use this gift card. He then claims he already spoke to his regional manager who told him to give me $50 worth of $5 bonus cards that can't be used until January 1st and that this was meeting in the middle since this was my fault too (for accidentally scratching the PIN number off) So what actually happened is the same girl who gave my dad misinformation about using the giftcard did not actually activate the giftcard correctly hence when we went to slide it through the terminal, it did not work. But instead the whole situation was turned around on me that I must have used the giftcard and then tried to go back and use it again. I am now out $50. And really another $50 that I can't use until January. Also Mike took it upon himself to cancel my order for tomorrow without even asking me if I still wanted it or not. So I said ok and walked out. Obviously this was a new employee that didnt know what she was talking about and did not know how to correctly activate a giftcard. So I was left with a dud of a giftcard, wasted an entire morning getting all bent out of shape about this whole situation and now a whole extra hour writing this email to corporate. read more

Food is always frozen tasting and not very fresh. Every time I've tried to go, it's been a disappointment. Even had fundraisers here and they didn't log in the orders correctly and we lost out of the fundraiser. We had over 300 people attend. The list goes on and on. Not recommend at all. Despite the bad reviews, I came here at least once a month and tried different things on the menu each time. The food isn't spectacular here but it hits the spot and food comes out quick. We haven't had a bad experience when dining in and the service was good, but there was this one incident that finally made me stop eating here and any location of theirs. I have ordered through the app in the past and had no problems. But this night, Oct. 30th, I ordered and their app crashed right after I entered my card info. Afterwards, the app said that my order did not go through. I checked my account and of course, I was charged. I called the restaurant to let them know what happened and they told me to place the order again (over the phone). We do then go over to pay in person with another card. We were told to come back to let them know when the charge on my card wasn't pending to get a refund. We showed them proof (via email) the following Monday and the GM (Chris) said he would refund us and took our info down over the phone. A week later, we heard nothing and got back nothing. I have been reaching out for weeks dealing with other managers. December 16 comes around and by this time I had complained to corporate and the BBB. Basically, I wanted my money back on my card and they were trying to just give me POINTS instead! Unacceptable! They gave me the runaround for over a month saying they had tech issues and couldn't get it to go on my card. So they send me 2 gift cards. :::eye frickin' roll::: Do they really think that I'd eat there again after this? I disputed with my bank to get my money back and I donated the gift cards to a charity of my choice. No way would I ever support a place that would steal their customer's money. Wowza, new chain restaurant opening and there's some Yelp hate?! Our friends are from Rocky Point. It was her birthday during the week and Saturday afternoon my wife gets a text, wanna meet for dinner @ BWW? I was on the go from 8:30am. I was tired and really didn't planned out dinner. I'm in! This BWW has a small parking lot but shares the lot with the supermarket. You'll always have a spot but its a bit of a walk to the restaurant. Once inside on a Saturday night, its mayhem. The bar is slammed, people are waiting outside, this is a typical Saturday night at any BWW. Our dining companions scored a table early because they live not too far away. BBW, one of my favorite chains because of the beers! I had one of my favorite California beers, Lagunitas. BWWs have a nice selection of domestic, imports and craft beers. Now I love wings but what BWW has is by far my favorite. They have a boneless wing, kinda like an adult chicken nugget. Man, drinking a good beer and talking with friends, we plowed thru those mammasitas! I had a burger for lunch so I ordered a grilled chicken sammy and my wife like this place, she ordered a salad topped with grilled chicken. I don't know why people dig on BWW. Obviously you're coming here for wings, fries and beer, not a 5 star meal, and they do that pretty well here. My boyfriend and I are now making it a tradition to watch football games here since they have screens all around so you'll never have a bad seat and THE DRINK SPECIALS ARE AWESOME. A pitcher (about 4 pints) of bud light or coors light for $5 during the football game is insane! During the championship at the end of the quarter there were $2 shot deals (including Jack or fireball, etc) which was an awesome deal. Don't skip on this place on game day! As for the wings, they're pretty good. I saw some people complain that the ratio of chicken to breading was off and I disagree. Every time I've ordered boneless I've gotten really good meat. Yeah it is kinda heavy on the breading but not like overwhelming. My favorite sauce is the Parmesan garlic and mango habanero. We ordered the buffalo dry rub and they didn't really put a lot of the rub on it, which is kinda why I have to knock it down a star. We also got a few other flavors, but all in all our go to is the two mentioned before. The fries are a knockout. I absolutely love their fries. Like order them without salt and they're sooooo good. I would come here all the time for the fries. The service is really great. Both times I've come here I was served by Joe, who is truly a great waiter. He actually remembered me and my boyfriend and our beer choice, which was a nice touch. He also was very nice and was able to get us fries which weren't salted. read more

I was the first to review this location their first week open . And the expected jitters and kitchen issues are to be expected. There will always be "haters" as i have come to learn here on Yelp, and also TripAdvisor and we know FB. my second visit was last week during an OVER CAPACITY night with 20 waiting I parked closer to stop n shop then the BWW - for takeout!!!! Yes took a long time and things were not perfect. But I posted the survey on the receipt and got a call from Chris the GM. We chatted and I laid it all out and - he listened. As a frequent flyer, lifetime platinum elite with Marriott and traveling for over 30 years........THAT is the second most important thing in hospitality industry!!!! The #1 most important thing is what you do with the feedback and information since 100% of my feedback was of course fixable. Went back with the same friends and our first sit down visit just tonight...... and if you have read this far I will cut to the chase......... Amanda and the rest of her support wait staff was absolutely in the top 10% of all the servers/wait staff since I have been dining out, NOT sure where they found her. She went toe to toe with my friend who knows beer better then the brewmeisters!!!!! She knew every brand and whether it was bottle or draft and etc. Chris came by the table........and not only was our entire experience EXACTLY what it should have been, but all the different orders of wings, and black bean burger, nachos, and onion rings were EXACTLY what it should have been!!!! Congratulations Chris and Amanda and the rest of BWW MP, I visualize the Wright brothers trying out their craft and finally she gets lift and soars upward!! We decided to share the House Sampler app, which consists of mozzarella sticks, onion rings, boneless wings and nachos. All yummy choices, right? Wrong! Boneless wings are basically adult chicken nuggets, but there was virtually no visible chicken, just tons and TONS of breading. If you have Wings in your name they'd better be great. The mozzarella sticks were just meh, I could have made better frozen ones at home. Now let's talk about the nachos -- even bad nachos are usually pretty good, right? Well not here. Seriously, they're oversized wings with cornstarch breading, and you have to ask for them specifically. They are AMAZING with the Chipotle BBQ dry rub! I like this BDubs location much better than others. The franchise owner, Chris, is almost always out on the floor, asking customers how they are, how the food and service quality is, and it's clear that he knows an active role in Quality Assurance makes a difference. Go to the Centereach location a few times and you'll be able to tell they're just not performing at the same level. I urge folks to be patient when orders seem slow or not entirely correct, or if they tell you that actually can't do to-go wings. The staff will work to make things right. The chains are experiencing new challenges (in addition to Cuomo's various dictats) such as: Chicken wing shortage: The combination of a TX blizzard AND Covid meant slower 'harvest' at the chicken ranches, thus not as many available wings for shipment nationwide. (Note; wings for chicken wing establishment are not the same as those you see at the grocery. They're typically smaller.) Combine this with: Gas supply limitations, courtesy of Colonial pipeline ransomware attack, and... Back-of-house help being difficult to find because the stimulus pays people more to stay home than work at a minimum wage job. You might be thinking, "Oh but Trace, they should get a 'living wage' to fry chicken." Sure, a 'living wage' on Long Island would mean that you'd pay $25 for a snack order of wings. I have had several problems with my take out orders. When I eat in all is ok, I just get wings, but with my take out wing orders I have had problems a few times. I get BOGO 20 piece...so thats 40 wings. Once I was shorted on my wing order and I called and the manager comped me a small wing order for the next time that I came in. That was fine. When I went in they were able to look it up and it went well. The manager Chris was friendly and obliging. I order my wings with extra seasoning (rub) which is what they call "extra wet." It was to the point where I had to ask the cashier who gives the take-out order to check to make sure she counted the wings and make sure they were extra wet. One time the Manager Chris checked the count and made sure they were extra wet and I was willing to take his word. But he wanted to show me and he did. They were what I asked for. Two times after that I asked the cashier to check my order for extra wet and the count...the count was fine but they were not the way I asked for them, even though she said she checked them. I called and talked to a manager Kevin and he said he would put it in the computer. The next week when I went back I asked the manager on duty (Chris) if Kevin noted in the computer the issue that I had. He said no there were no complaints. I left it alone. Last week April 21 I went in and ordered a 30 piece BOGO, so that was 60 wings. My order took about 25 min and when I came back in I asked the cashier if she checked my order and she assured me it was counted and extra wet. When I got home the order was "extra dry"...a very light sprinkle of seasoning. I took pics of that order. (included in this post) When I came in today I told the cashier that today I was going to check my order before I left and showed her the pics of my order from last week that she said she "checked." By the way it was the same cashier on every single occasion on Tuesdays during the day. I left and came back to get my order and Chris was standing there and his posture was as if he had an attitude...hands clasped together, looking up in the air like "What Now?" I asked it that was my order and he said yes and came across rude as if I was that problem. He said she told him what I said. I told him I had pics to show him to support what I said. At first he was willing to look...took a couple of steps to do so, but then decided not to. (Proof is everything even if you dont want to see it) He then said I should check the order from now on before I left and I said I would. I told him that is what I told her I wanted to do. I checked my order and they over-compensated on the "extra wet" and then gave me some in containers on the side. Apparently I cant trust them to make sure my take-out order is correct. If they are annoyed that I have a complaint that is fine. I am annoyed that I am very specific in what I order and pay for only to get home and find out that they did not give me want I ordered several times. I told him all I want it what I ask for. I won't be going back there again. I dont write reviews but I felt the need to write this one. Compare the "extra wet" wings from last week 4/21, and the "extra wet" wings from today 4/28. I came here before to dine in and there were so many problems I don't know even know where to begin. The manager at the time didn't bother touching the table.. Thought maybe it was just a bad night --fast forward to tonight and I came in to order for take out. The girl at the counter was rude and sarcastic for no reason and when I asked her how much longer would my order take (quoted 20-25 mins) , she rolled her eyes and said "oh I don't know. Maybe the kitchen is behind." The restaurant is barely filled... and food is going on 40 mins. The guy standing next to her is texting away and turned to me and said "oh we're busy tonight. Full disclosure for the 3 stars -- On their best day could be a 4 but on their worst day more like a 1-2. BWW is a fairly renowned chain on Long Island which for me has had it's up's and down's overall. I've started frequenting this specific location a handful of times and would generally give a recommend for anyone local to the area. No surprises here on the food, you're looking at "sports pub esque" with a heavy bias to wings and flavors. Other then that, the usual hamburger, taco, and sandwiches are the alternatives. Nothing too top shelf in the liquor cabinet but a healthy selection of beer choices; stick to the drafts. The wings have slowly gone up in price over the years but this more or less seems to be across the board at any restaurant... the quality here for bone in wings for me is still consistently good. Sauces and flavors are plentiful, there should be something for generally everyone/anyone. Things can get pretty hot at the top 2 highest but everything else will keep your head attached still. A surprise up the sleeve is the addition of cauliflower wings which are open to the same sauce palette... do enjoy these as well for lighter fare. My wife enjoys the burgers here too, so not a one trick pony. Alcohol specials for tall sizing and rotating discounts are very much welcomed to offset the higher price of meat. Hospitality service is where this place breaks down at times. The staffing and mismanagement is inexcusable on both sides of the spectrum. Do keep in mind that I am probably in peak hours on Friday/weekend days typically but my experiences fall into the following; A) It's crowded with waitresses/waiters covering way too much ground or B) It's dead and the staff is just standing around in the service corners or by the to-go orders congregating. Literally do not think I've ever been welcomed here immediately by a host/hostess, there's usually no one at the front door regularly. Tables and areas where former patrons were are constantly left with debris and trash and not cleaned for 30 mins-hour after they depart. Typically will spot what appears to be a "manager" just wandering around watching sports on the TV's but they're "for show". These seem like simple fixes and adjustments but the thing is these scenarios kind of get spelled out every experience I have here. Overall, I would lean to recommend (cautiously) this specific location but if I am in the mood for the fare and stars align then it is indeed a safe, good bet. A few of the adjustments and fixes could really go a long way to improving this place. read more

Don't know why this place is always so empty. We have always had good dining experiences here. Our kids love it. Seems like they have taken the criticisms on service to heart, as the general manager of this location is out and about and doing everything including serving food. The man is hustle with a smile. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Food is always good. Drink specials during football games can't be beat! The acoustics are loud even when it's relatively empty which is annoying but I can overlook. Love that there are games to play on iPads for tables and plenty of TVs to watch every sporting event on. Last time I ordered was a complete mess up. I had ordered Naked Tenders with Desert Heat Dry seasoning and was given tenders with absolutely no seasoning and was just plain tasteless and dry. I couldn't even eat them and threw them in the trash. What a waste... The 2 other people I ordered for ordered fries and both side of fries where missing. I am very disappointed this time but will give them one more chance, if anything goes wrong again, they will never have my business again. First experience at Buffalo Wild Wings was a good one. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and the Teriaki Wings I ordered were great. I was glad that it wasn't too crowded because with all the vscreens and noise of the TV might have been a bit too much. Make sure you ask your server what beers they have. Went here on a Tuesday, the waitress said they had opened the day before. We got seated quick it. That was nice but it wasnt busy either. We ordered the ultimate nachos I always order at the other buffalo wild wings, its a huge reason I like this place so much, BUT not at this one...I was so disappointed. There was hardly any cheese and just a sprinkle of lettuce, the jalapenos were cut way to thick, it was about the thickness of three normal slices I would get at the other location, to thick for me to eat. I asked for more cheese because I was only done a few chips and all the cheese was gone, they brought out more cheese...I just wish they did it right the first time. The wings, I got salt and vinegar, same as I always get at the other location but here there was hardly any seasoning on them, I again had to ask for more, which they brought. Ok now I typed this pretty fast. The time it took to get anything was, it was a long wait. for drinks, for extra cheese, for food, for extra salt and vinegar, a long wait for everything. Im just glad I was not in a rush. This place just opened so I gave it a three stars instead of two for the slow service and the having to ask for extra because they didnt put enough of whatever I mentioned above. The server was very friendly and there was lots of visible management floating around. Oh they kept announcing things on the load speaker like games beginning and such and that was a nice and fun atmosphere. My daughter requested to come here today. I did see some negative comments about it so was hesitant at first but figured we would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised with everything. Service was great and all four of us enjoyed the sampler appetizer. As for our main meals I was very happy with the buffalitos. My daughter ordered wings and said they were great. My youngest son ordered his usual, chicken fingers and fries and also said they were good. Now for my husband who ordered the phlilly cheesesteak, he did not enjoy it at all, but did agree that everything else was good so definitely come back. He would just try something else. read more

If you're looking for a 5 star fancy restaurant, turn around & walk back outside. Every time I've come here wether alone or with people I've never had any problems with the food or the staff that works here. Everybody's been great. Only reason I'm giving a 4/5 stars is cause of door dashing. Little slow but not sure if it's cause of the times or what but that's it. Where do I even start. Was looking for something a little different and decided to try this place. Walked in and the music is blasting could not hear a word anyone was saying. The server came over to the table I could not hear her. My friend was sitting across the table for me could not even hear her. The menu is very very limited. Was going to get a hamburger but as I saw all their burgers or smash burgers. Smash burgers taste disgusting you lose all the flavor and smashing it. Decided to go with a buffalo chicken sandwich. The food came out and it look like a kids lunch meal. The buffalo chicken sandwich had very little buffalo sauce on it and the chicken was very hard. My friend got the grilled chicken it was OK but still look like a kids lunch meal. Was it really worth the money or the tripped out find something different. read more
