Nothing bad to say about this newish wing establishment in Miller Place. I can't wait to go back to try different flavors of sauces & dry rubs. The staff was friendly and I had the Atomic flavor which is their second highest temp wing sauce just south of Nuclear & plenty hot enough for me, I barely got through the order of ten. I've had the "Atomic" brand wings in NYC & the Buffalo flavor was very reminiscent of wings you'd find in Buffalo. The bar is a little on the smaller side but definitely large enough to get your crew together for beers & wings on a football Sunday. I hope they succeed because I'm looking forward to making this place a regular stop. Let go Mets!

More like Atomic Bomb but not in a good way. Considering myself and family crazy for wings this was by far the worst wing experience we've ever encountered. Ordered wings (Buffalo) Tennessee Chicken sandwich and waffle fries. The wings were tasteless and truth be told I will go to Buffalo Wild Wings any day of the week over Atomic Wings. Sauce ordered was medium and wings traditional. The meat was dry and tasteless and the sauce just not good. The chicken sandwich was a $13.00 piece of chicken in a bun with sauce. Seriously nothing added to this sandwich. The waffle fries were far from crisp and just plain soggy. Atomic Wings is either takeout or sit down after ordering at the counter. Oddly enough their system in filling orders is a bit chaotic. In addition, this establishment didn't even have a hint of odor pertaining to food. Unfortunate I was hoping for a killer experience, hence this was one and done for me.

Great wings. Very saucy. Quick and friendly staff. Chicken tenders were delicious. Will try again when we are back in town.

Eat Unique Indeed…read more We were famished for something brunchy this past Sunday, and were looking at different places to go to. Went to the Watermark, parking lot was inaccessible, seems people don't know how to park over there. Even the street spaces were full. We headed further west, Flying Pig was closed down, we had been to Crazy Beans, then a quick Google search pulled up a spot we'd never heard of before. Pulled up to a strip mall where BlackSheep was located, nice big parking lot as expected. Walked in, and we were the first ones there. The place smelled fantastic. We sat ourselves and perused the menu. The server came by and enumerated the specials, but I was fixated on Braise your Belly. We also got me-mah's mac and cheese, and started off with the Roasted Garlic Northern Bean Dip and the Minestrone soup. The Bean Dip starter was fantastic. All the little things you need for a perfect bite. A scoop of bean dip on a toasted pita wedge, stick a couple of kalamata olives on the bean dip mortar (3 olives were too much), add pickled red onion and fire-roasted peppers, then top with crumbled feta. Amazing bite. I had a taste of the Minestrone, and it was excellent. Flavors were all there without being overdone. The pasta was nice and cooked just right. The mac and cheese was perfect. I couldn't put my finger on the cheeses used, but it all came together nicely. You didn't just get a mouthful of one cheese flavor. It was creamy, balanced, and the crispy onions on top made it really nice. and the stunner. I am a big fan of pork belly, and this really piqued my interest. Served with lemongrass grits and pickled veg with a soy miso glaze. The pickled veg was tossed in a bed of leafy greens, and I saw some seaweed salad in there as well. A little bite of the grits topped with the salad was amazing. I've never had that combo before. A little tart, a little salty, nice umami, I could have eaten a bowl of just that. However, when the pork belly came into play, everything changed. The crisped, lightly charred crust on the fatty slices of nirvana by themselves were perfect. Cut a piece of it and lay it on the grits-salad bite, and you can feel your eyes roll backwards. I wanted to, and almost ate it all, but I left a slice for my girlfriend and topped off her little bit of mac and cheese that she wanted to take home. Half an hour in, and the place pretty much packed out for a bit while they were doing a healthy amount of takeout/pickup orders. The place is pretty simple: interesting Black Sheep art, with mostly little tables, plasticware, and a drinks cooler. The food can certainly be right at home in a fancier and upscale setting, but doesn't need it. They had one server, and she was delightful and attentive to everyone. The chef came around and asked how everything was, which I find is always a nice touch. Definitely coming back.

The front counter employee was super friendly and helpful and I think he may double as a cook as well. Anyway, my family and I ordered the Big Stack...Two All Beef Patties, Special Sauce, Lettuce, Cheese, Pickles & Onions on a Toasted Potato Roll. This burger was ON POINT!! Perfectly cooked and exactly as described. My wife had the Foghorn Leghorn, Handmade Southern Fried Chicken Breast, on a Martin's Potato Roll Topped with Lettuce and Mayo, which was delicious. The fries were excellent and the onion rings with the dipping sauce were amazing! I would have probably passed this place by if not given a heads up! They didn't just slap cheese slices on and half melt it, they use legit cheese sauce coated all over the fries. These are the best cheesy fries I've ever had and you must order them. The cole slaw was fantastic too and very sweet. Definitely make the trip here, it's worth it!

(more about that in a minute) Reluctantly, I go back in there today, knowing I'm getting over charged, but i planned on taking the hit just 1 more day. Same order today, maple turkey with Swiss on a roll and a 20oz drink. Theres a young man at the register, he rings me up for $18.17. I asked him how the same order is a different price. I asked him to talk to Elvis. He said Elvis was busy in the back of if I wanted to wait. No, I didn't want to wait to be told some excuse. And I would have just left the food there if I wasn't very hungry. So I pay the $18.17 at the register, only to finally look at my bank statement to make sure I wasn't mistaken about yesterday's price. And that when I realize I got charged $19.17 For today's order, and then I assessed I am also getting charged an additional $1 per order on my bank statement. The only saving grace was the sandwich was fresh and good, but not worth whatever I actually paid for it.

We got seated at a pretty small table and asked if we could move to a larger neighboring table and they told us no, that it was reserved for another party (which either was inaccurate or they never arrived because the table sat empty for the two hours we were there). The waitress (a teenage girl dressed in our opinions too scantily, which apparently is the dress code for employees here) did not know the menu well and had to return to our table to ask one of our party members how to spell the drink he ordered because she couldn't find it in the computer (note: it was a very basic spelling/pronunciation of a drink). We were incredibly nervous about placing food orders after that confusion, but fortunately all of our orders were accurate. We came here because I wanted to try the Cap'n Crunch chicken which was a disappointment because it tasted like regular fried chicken. The rest of our food was good, and decent-sized portions. The place was pretty busy and there was to be live music. Something happened though, because the band only played one song and did not resume after that during our visit. The country music played in lieu of the band was quite loud, along with the busy restaurant, so the ambiance was soon a bit loud for my taste but overall good for business that there were so many people there. There were also TVs playing sports during our visit, and I found that many people were fixated on that instead of their dining companions, which I find disappointing in humankind. I'm not in a hurry go back here because I disliked the busy ambiance and the service wasn't great. The food was good but not especially healthy. It was a unique experience for sure; one my friends and I will not soon forget.
