The food is always subpar at this location and I honestly do not know why! This is a well-known restaurant and this location brings down the name completely. I'm genuinely offended and hurt by the way the servers treated my friends and I. We stood at the entrance for 10 minutes while we watched two hostesses chit chatting the entire time we were patiently waiting. They even made eye contact with us but chose to wither not notice and walk away. One of my friends respectfully asked if we could just pick where to sit, she said "sit in the bar". We go sit in the bar then 2 minutes later, another woman said if you're under 21 you have to sit in the dining area... so we did. Not feeling it here tonight. I've come to the North Haven BWW countless times with my 6 year old son. Last night I decided to head over there myself and sit at the bar. I asked for my usual 10 wings......saying can I please get 5 mild buffalo and 5 honey BBQ. You would've thought I f&** was speaking spanish or something with the look the bartender gave me. She said condescendingly we don't offer 10 its either 6 or 12. I said really.....that's new, I've been here like 20 times, I've never once not been able to order 10 wings. I did not understand. But, she was getting sooooo damn animated and thought it was a freaking joke that I didn't get it. She NEVER once said its two free extra on Tuesday. By the 3rd explanation, which she could have easily said--sure we'll give you 10, and you get 2 free ones today----that was all I needed to hear. I just wanted to get up and walk out the door. But why I stayed is beyond me. Instead she put on a song and dance trying to embarrass me in front of the other customer while looking at him for help as if to say "is this that difficult to understand". Next time f**** explain it in english instead of trying to embarrass the customer. I have never in all the years I have gone out felt that small and embarrassed. Next, I asked her if she would mind putting on a game, and it was like pulling teeth--her whole demeanor and body language. She said the game you want is not on. I said yes it is, it's on ESPN. It's the main televised game of the night. She then responded sorry this game is gone at 730pm we have to put on another game....these are the rules see its highlighted. Never once said a word to me during the time I was there to see if I needed anything or how everything was which normally that doesn't bother me in the least. But, she was more interested in talking to the former worker there who she told three times so he knew, I liked you when you were here. This is pretty much your standard BWW. The place is pretty clean, the location is convenient, and the staff is about what you would expect. I've been to this location on several occasions and nothing stands out to earn this place any more or less stars. read more

Berry Angry cider is fantastic!! I could lick the glass clean. The cheesecake balls are to die for. I recommend the dessert nachoes so you have ice cream too. Thank you Alex for awesome time. read more

The worst food experience I have ever had in my life. Picture this....As you enter the dining area a rank smell of McDonalds dirty ball pit wafts into your face. I went to this establishment with my fiancé tonight. We were sat at a table and we waited for someone to take our order. We sat for about 20 minutes and no one came to even take a drink order. There was a group of men who were sat right next to us (after we had been sitting for a while) and they were greeted and got their drinks before us. I looked around the floor and saw two waitresses talking to customers and showing them pictures on their phone. Neither of them had time to come and wait on us. I went here for my first time the other week and I will admit it was busy but our server didn't pay attention to us. Took twenty to twenty five minutes just to get drinks! 4 stars for football viewing. 3 stars for the beer selection (although overpriced) and 1 star for the food. They are very accommodating during football season and show every game and that's the only reason I go. For a chain, they charge way too much for draft beer. The only food I stick to is the boneless wings and nachos. Totally unhealthy but tasty and edible. Every time I've gotten any type of sandwich I've been disappointed and regretful. Worst food I've ever had. Everything tasted soggy and bland. We ordered the coast to coast sampler, soft pretzels and margaritas (I was on a kick, my own damn fault). The sampler was horrible sized portions. 12 mushrooms (gross) 4 cheese sticks (at least the cheese was melted) 2 pieces of the buffalo flat bread and the tinniest little itty bitty bit of spinach and artichoke dip (seriously, not enough to feed 2 ants) None of it got more then a bite, but I will say the buffalo 'flat bread' had the best flavor out of them all. It wasn't very bread like though, more like an insanely over cooked chip. The soft pretzels were at least edible, but don't try the orange stuff they try to pass off as queso, it's not. It's nothing like queso. Bleh! The margaritas were so sweet I swear I felt cavities coming in as I verrrryyyy lowlyyyy sipped it (hoping the ice would melt and make it a little easier on me). But that's my own fail for ordering a speciality drink at "sports bar" Our waitress was mostly attentive and nice, only had to look for her once. That's the only nice thing I can say. So if you do go, sit in the bar, drink tap beer and watch the game. Don't waste your money on food. read more

A long wait at the door to be seated for lunch. Only ten people in the whole place and not a soul to seat us. I was done with my lunch before the refill was brought out. I wish the waitress would have reminded me that the refill wasn't free so I didn't pay almost $25.00 for my lunch! We asked for separate checks upon arrival and had to wait for that to be straightened out also. I don't know what the big distraction was, but I think for a $25.00 lunch and a five dollar tip, one would get better service. OH, I walked up to the bar to get some Tabasco sauce and the bartender walked away without even acknowledging me! Never did get it either. I think I'll drive a few more miles and get better service. Walked into a restaurant on a Saturday afternoon at 4:10 p.m. waited awhile for somebody to notice us and bring us to our table then we were sat at a table and waited until 4:26pm before we left. Stopped by for lunch at the north haven location with 2 of my friends. The bartender Lynn was great. She was very friendly and made sure are orders were correct. Was pretty disappointed by my NCAA Tournament experience here. The only thing management did was pre-program the tournament games into DirecTV. It must have been the time we came in. I didn't have a bad experience compared to some of the other people on Yelp. I also came in around 10pm and not too many people were there. We were seated right away and everything came out pretty good. I would return here again. There are a lot of TVs everywhere and sports memorabilia around the walls were pretty interesting. The food was decent and as expected. The place was clean. We pretty much came here after having a bad experience at the Buffet Palace in Milford. I was very happy to be here. I love BWW. Food is always amazing. I'm a huge fan of the fried pickles and I get medium sauced wings. Place could be a tad cleaner but hey... it's all about the food and sports right? Bathrooms are always clean which is nice. Staff here is always super friendly and attentive. One downfall is this location always seems to have a shortage of cooks. I've been here on Friday and Saturday nights and there will be lots of empty tables but they won't seat people because they're short on cooks. But regardless, that doesn't stop me from going.
