When I went to this BWW I was displeased in several respects. First of all it took the waitress 35 minutes to even ask for our drinks. Granted the place was completely full, but that is still unacceptable. When you are packed, you call in more servers! Plain and simple! Second... my girlfriend got a completely different sandwich than she ordered! Then the waitress argued with us about it before finally conceding. We did get the correct sandwich free of charge, despite the fact that my girlfriend ate the wrong sandwich first. (LOL!) Thirdly our waitress wreaked terribly of cigarettes, which generally does not occur if the person washes their hands after each cigarette which is REQUIRED BY LAW for all restaurant employees. I'll probably go back here, simply because my girlfriend generally likes the place... but if it were up to me there would be a lot of fired employees and better employees being hired. read more

I've gone here on multiple occasions, and each time it has gotten progressively worse. The last two times are what will keep me from ever going back, both times the host either never informed the waitress our table was waiting or the waitress just didn't care. We waited the past 2 times at least 5-10 minutes until someone came over to greet us. We always got the boneless wings, which when this place first open would be covered in sauce, now they have barely anything on them. The food is horrible, and the service sucks. Been here a few times and have yet to have a good experience. We called today to reserve a table for a large party and we're told although they don't do reservations, they'll setup a table for us in advance if they aren't busy. We get there on time, only to find nothing was setup and they refused to set anything up until everyone in our party arrived. Unhelpful and unfriendly staff. I ordered the naked chicken tenders with garlic parmesan "sauce". They came burnt and had a sorry excuse for a garlic parm "seasoning" on them you could barely taste (sliders makes a much better version). For dinner, I had the buffalo chicken flatbread. Someone else at my table got the garlic parm flatbread and they gave us each other's flatbread. So it wasn't until we each ate a slice that we realized we had each others. Went to this location about 2 yrs ago for a fantasy football draft with some rowdy coworkers...they gave us a nice section that was deemed "all ours" but our service was lackluster at best, and overall very slow. I then found out my sis in law applied to work there and was training and was shown how they "cook". "Cook" aka= everything is microwaved. Their sauces come out of frozen bags that are nuked, so are all of the wings. Basically every single item is microwaved..... so gross. read more

Terrible experience, went Sunday afternoon to satisfy an urge for wings and to watch the soccer game. Waited 10 minutes for the host to sit us ( no hostess). When then waited 30 minutes for a waitress/waiter with no menus, though I spoke to 2 people. Eventually a waitress came over, she was friendly, she asked if we knew what we wanted, and we responded we have no menus. We ordered some beer , which took 20 minutes and then ordered some Buffalo wings and burgers. While waiting my wife remarked how long someone was waiting to be seated, this while young men are off on the side chatting. After a long wait out came wings, no Buffalo sauce, tasted like plain wings. We spoke to the person who delivered them, but he was a space candidate. The waitress agreed that these were not Buffalo took them back but then returned with same wings saying the cook says there are, she said she would have the manager come over - manager never did. Summarize highly recommend avoiding. Clearly no management. Long waits, young individuals goofing off in the side and talking with friends at tables. And they cannot even cook Buffalo wings; Awful experience. What can I say? It's your run-of-the-mill sports bar at a larger scale. Granted, I was in a group of 8, but the automatic 18% gratuity was a little extreme based on the service we received. We went in on a Wednesday night, and we were one of the three full tables in the entire restaurant. We ordered wings, salads, and a burger. However, we saw every other table get their food first, PLUS other tables that came in after the others left got their food first. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes before we finally got out food, and it was sub-par. I ordered the boneless wings with celery and carrots to go with it. The vegetables were brown and looked old. Very disappointed. I also ordered the vinegar/sea salt fries. Where is the vinegar?? They tasted like regular fries to me. Finally, I ordered the artichoke spinach flatbread. I don't know what I was expecting. It was alright. The dough was at least cooked through. The spinach was nearly invisible and it was very bland. In all, it's what you expect. I'm really disappointed. We went for an early dinner, ordered an app which was good, a kids meal a sandwich and some traditional wings in different sauces. Unfortunately, the wings were cold. When I mentioned it to our server he got the manager who lumbered over to our table. My husband and I explained what the issue was. The wings tasted fine, but they were noticeably cold. He stated he would "find out what's goin on back there". Never returned, never offered an apology or a discount, just disappeared only to return again later and avoid us completely. Stood at the front waiting for someone to greet me/tell me where to sit. Took long enough I started to walk to an open table on my own while looking around to ask if I just seat myself. The hostess eventually arrived....at a slow stroll...and seated me. Sat at the table for maybe 3 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. The hostess came by to tell me my waitress was on her way and to ask what I'd like to drink. She came back with the water and told me the waitress would be there shortly. 5ish more minutes pass and waitress comes by to tell me my waitress is busy, but would I like to put in an order. I do. My spinach dip comes out cold. I flag someone down and he takes it immediately. Someone else brings *clearly* the same plate back out after what I'm assuming was a microwave warm up. Few minutes later my wings come out. It's been a long time since I've been to a BWW so maybe things changed, but I'm used to them labeling or at least telling you which flavors are which. My 2 flavors were on the same plate, mixed up, and plopped in front of me in a drive by-drop off fashion. The supposed to be my waitress comes over to check on things. I tell her my dip came out cold and she asked if it was fixed to which I said yes. I love the Blazin' wings; highly recommended. My wife and I visited today for dinner and enjoyed the food and the happy hour priced apps were a nice surprise. Our server was attentive and pleasant. My wife is disabled and uses a wheelchair. As I held the first of the entryway doors and maneuvered us inside, I noticed four employees at the hostess stand, one of them may have been a manager. Not one of them made an effort to assist in holding the second entryway door. Perhaps I am hypersensitive about this sort of thing, but how hard would it have been to assist a disabled guest into the building? On our way out, full and satisfied from our meal, two employees at the same hostess stand bid us goodnight and didn't make move to assist me with the door or wheelchair. I came here for the first time mid-afternoon on a Monday and (as you might assume) the place was almost empty. The space is huge, but I could see it filling up quick if there was a good game on. I know this is a chain and the menu really can't be changed, but I was shocked to see the lack of healthy options. Besides the veggies and dip for an app, I didn't see many healthy options. After reviewing the menu, I gave up and ordered the buffalo chicken flatbread minus the blue cheese dressing and with just a little cheese. It tasted fine, it just wasn't anything extra special. Don't come here if seeking luxury. I've been to a BWW before so I was well aware what I was getting myself into. Given the option of sitting at tables or the bar. My boyfriend ordered a Red Stripe and I asked for Corona Light. They told him they had none and they mistakenly brought me out a Coors Light. He ended up getting a draft Heineken and they corrected my Corona. My boyfriend got 6 wings and a buffalo chicken wrap. The wrap was cold for his liking. I tried both Honey BBQ wings and Sweet BBQ Boneless wings. The boneless wings sucked. Barely coated in sauce, very bready. The regular wings were pretty decent. I'll just get those next time. I'd say this place is not for young kids. There was a couple with say a 3 or 4 yr old at the table next to us who was crying for 3/4 of our meal, finally the mother put down her food and got it wrapped to go and took the child outside. Granted that's not the restaurants fault, but made a semi crappy experience for us. Don't bring your small kids. There are multiple tvs in there. Can get overwhelming to them. Oh I forget to mention that I had ordered a side of coleslaw but it never came out so I told our waitress to make sure I wasn't charged for it. She did. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings if you like sports, beer and wings. Are they the best wings? No, because they could be a bit meatier. But they have a wide choice of sauces so whatever flavor you are in the mood for is likely available when you want it. All of the sauces I have tried are very good. I especially like the mango habanero, Korean bbq (which was a limited time special) spicy garlic (basically a hot buffalo style wing infused with garlic) Asian Zing and the parmesan garlic. The rest of the menu is only so-so and for that reason I don't really have any other recommendations. Also, their tap beer list is extensive, albeit expensive, so whatever beer is your favorite, you are likely to find it. As far as the sports aspect, there are tons of TVs with every sport imaginable. It's a great place to watch a game in either small or large groups. I highly recommend spending an NFL Sunday here. Lastly, this is an experience you can get at just about any of the BWW restaurants around the country, but this North Haven, CT location is by far my favorite. Of all the BWW locations in CT this is clearly the best due to its lively sports atmosphere, good service and close proximity to my home. read more

Stopped in last night for a quick dinner. The service and food were anything but decent. I am completely disgusted in the way the staff was. For starters, it took at least 5 minutes for our waitress to come to our table, brought a completely wrong drink (twice), brought the wrong wings, took my plate before I was finished, and we waited a good 15 minutes to get our checks that weren't even correct. I asked to speak with the manager and her excuse was "she's new it's her first night" (i've worked in customer service and the food industry and this should never be an excuse) which she quickly changed when I talked about how it was far from acceptable and it wasn't even crowded. I did dine-in a couple of times and I will say...the service is either a hit or miss. There will be time the waiters will be super friendly and will check in to see everything is ok. We had Courtney as a server I don't know if she was just new or something but half the food we received was cold, we got each dish in 20 minute intervals, we got food before our appetizers. I was not sure I wanted to visit this location after the general tone of the other reviews, but I gave it a try. I arrived at 12:45 on a weekday to meet a friend for lunch. It had been 15 years since I'd eaten at a BWW. I liked the long bar and the abundance of high tables in the bar area. Room for plenty of people without feeling cramped. I especially liked the wall that separated the bar from the "family area." Cleanliness was a bit spotty, Barely two hours after opening and the restroom floor felt a bit sticky. There was also a straw wrapper in the corner of the bar that the bartender and many servers ignored. The bartender I had was friendly and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised to see Angry Orchard cider on tap. The food was good. The wings were delicious. The Blazin' sauce was as hot as I remembered, and the Honey Habanero combined sweet and heat perfectly. The nachos were flavorful with thin chips that were not soggy. Food arrived within 3-5 minutes of ordering. It was hot, but such speed always makes me a bit suspicious. If you're a sports fan, there are plenty of screens everywhere. By the time we left several hours later the bar area was packed. There were a few families in the family area. My guess is that most of the servers were assigned to the bar area because that's where the crowd was. Overall, I'd visit again. I wish they had more locations in my area. I was suspicious and ask another waiter to check the balance on it. it came back with $ 0. The first waiter gave me back a different card. I called the manager and he said it is a honest mistake???? Je right. Beware of this place they will scam you, always check the card numbers against the gift card. If you want deliciousness then you can't go to a chain restaurant. If you want mediocre, then you do, and lunch here was just that. Our waitress was sweet. Our drinks arrived pretty quickly, and though it was slow for lunch, our wait time was a little longer than it probably should've been. We ordered wings- with the bone and without, with several different sauces/rubs, and some fries. It was just what we expected it to be... frozen chicken, dipped in a fryer and rolled in a sauce. First and last time here....such a rude staff! My wife and I stopped in to place a takeout order...no one at the counter. We asked a waiter to help us...he said he would send someone over...he never did. We called on the phone to place our order, and a girl was upset, that she would be there. I've gone to BWW since I can remember, especially the NH location because it is close to home. With Covid my gf and I haven't been ordering out much. In the last two months we've ordered twice from this location through Uber eats . First time we ordered over 150$ worth of food and were given 0 sauces and forgot our drinks (what are you going to do with Uber eats it's a headache). Second time we were not given our fries deserts and drinks through Uber eats and the order took 45 mins over the approx time.
