Folks who know me, know that I love the Buffalo (or BDubs, or Bw3), to the point that I got 2 separate gifts cards to BWW last month. It's a total downer that this place disappointed. After a Sunday in the Florida sunshine, I wanted to have a good dinner so I could head home and get ready for another work week. This is apparently a new store and was pretty empty. They have the updated BuzzTime tablet games (versus the old school clunky consoles that can never hold a charge for more than a few games) and the refreshed interior. I had my usual fare of boneless wings, mango habanero flavor. The food was on par with all other BWW experiences, but the service was completely lackluster. Is football over? yes. Is your bar slow? yes. Can you try and pretend you actually want to be at work? yes. The bartender just made it seem like he didn't want to be there and was completely disinterested in the customers. Had I been at my usual BWW, I would have spent some more coin and played some more Buzztime; this place I just wanted to leave after I finished my wings. I like B-Dubs because the food is good, the service is decent, and the atmosphere is nice. I can bring the kids here and have a good time and not worry about my service being mediocre because I am not a table of young men. I do love all of the different flavors of sauce. The menu clearly lists how spicy each sauce is on a scale so you don't end up ordering something you can't handle. There is plenty of parking in their dedicated lot so no worries there. There is outside as well as indoor seating. My husband loves to play trivia using the app on his phone with others in the restaurant so if you are into that, it can be an added bonus. One word of advice, if there is a particular game you want to watch just keep in mind that if you need to change a channel it takes a manager to do it. Which for us took 20 min. Best to find the game you want and sit at a table where you know you can see it vs asking them to change the channel. read more

You get 6 each boneless and bone-in wings, each tossed in your choice of sauce. I really enjoyed the medium sauce. It had just the right amount of kick. The parmesan garlic and Asian zing were both finger-lickin' good. However, I was not a fan of the honey BBQ sauce. The waitress was prompt and checked with us regularly. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a cool breeze with a tasty dinner. FYI, it is a smoking area. Recommended if you're in the mood for wings and a lively bar scene during a sports game. I have been to this B-Dubs about four times. The food is pretty standard for a big chain sports bar, and they have a nice variety of wing flavors plus some other good food options. The decor is warehouse chic, with lots of TVs and a nifty game system that you can participate in by grabbing a small tablet. However, the Service has been getting worse and worse -- when it first opened, the service was great. Last time I went, the waitress sat down with some friends while we waited 45 min for our food -- I was tempted to walk out. I will be back more often if the service improves. Another concern -- if you are a concealed carry permit holder and like to conceal carry, Buffalo Wild Wings has a sign up prohibiting Concealed Carry. As permit holders should know, that means that you can't carry your gun into the restaurant. This means that I have to lock it up out in the car, or only go when I'm not carrying. I suppose I somewhat understand the policy, since B-Dubs is a sports BAR, but I never drink ANYTHING alcoholic when I am driving or carrying, so the policy is an inconvenience. (If I were a business owner of this kind, I would WANT concealed carry on my property to discourage robberies -- I would put up a sign saying if you conceal carry, don't drink.) If you are looking for more quality food than just the basic chain restaurant type stuff, don't come here because it is a lot like all of the other chains. (There's nothing wrong with that) What BDubs does have that is better than most chains is their choice of sauces. Went to eat here Friday July 13th. As usual service was subpar and took much longer than a typical restaurant. Usually we wait about 20 min for service then never see the waitress. My wife ordered the chicken tenders-6. However when food arrived the chicken had dark green parts. So as not to ruin dinner, we ate, paid and left. My wife only ate about 1/2 of the chicken. Later, my wife got sick-vomiting and stomach pain. I later went back to y'all with the manager Matthew. I showed him the pictures and he said that they take these things seriously but that we were healthy enough to handle it and that he would email corporate. To start off I will say the food was great so I'm giving two stars. I had teriyaki wings abd my Partner had a BBQ stacked burger that she said was really, really good, plus her Blue Moon that she ordered was spot on! However, this review, like many others on this page is about the service which was incredibly lacking. Went here on a Friday night and it was busy but the section that we were seated in wasn't THAT busy. When we were first seated the waitress, whose name was Imani, greeted us friendly enough and took our drink orders, returned promptly with said drinks then took our food orders. Once she returned with our food she asked us if we needed anything else and my Partner and I said we were fine. That was the end of niceties. She hardly ever returned to check-in with us and when we Did need something I had to flag her down. My Partner asked for a refill on her beer and it took quite a while for it to show up at the table. Now as I have said our section was not that busy and we watched as Imani helped the other tables but hardly have us a glance if hehe came near ours. This brings me to payong the check. She finally stopped by and asked us if we were ready for the check and we said we were. She brought the check and my Partner placed her card in the little sleeve in the folder and laid the folder on the outer edge of the table which at this point had been totally clear of dishes save our drinking glasses. (Bear with me, I'm going into detail for a reason.) We waited for her to pick up our payment and during this time I had left to go use the restroom, when I came back our folder was still there. My Partner commented on how she'd been going from table to table and still hadn't come by to pick up our check. I tried flagging and I had called out to her twice loud enough for her to here me and she didn't break stride to look in our direction. At one point she brought drinks to the table behind us and could of EASILY picked up our check, but instead turned in the opposite direction seemingly do she wouldn't have to look in our direction. When we finally DID get her attention she had the NERVE to tell us that we had put our card in the folder wrong and that she had no idea were were ready to pay. REALLY!! SERIOUSLY!! OK, A. We're just the customer, not everybody knows the little quirks of your job. Hell, half the time the folders don't have the little card sleeves intact in order for us to put our cards in there. B. CHECK ON YOUR CUSTOMERS!! Do your job chick! If it wasn't for your paying customers you wouldnt have a job to be snarky at! And maybe, just maybe, if you HAD checked on us, you would know we were ready to pay the bill instead of feeding us some insulent and insufferable line about how we, the people who pad your freakin' paycheck, are supposed to put our card in the holder! You know, at one point she was so absent we could of picked up and walked out of the place! I apologize for this being such a long review, but it had to be said. This hasnt been our first experience with bad customer service, but it Was our first horrible experience to warrant an airing on the internet (usually we blow these things off as the person having a bad day or whatever but this is the third bad experience at this location.) Thank-you for sticking with me this long, and I hope somebody of authority reads this, not just the manager, but a corporate head of some kind. BWWs is really getting the formula for a sports bar down pat. They understand that the quality of the wings does matter (are you listening Hooters & Company) as well as the atmosphere. The variety of sauces and spices ensure that everyone will find something that they can enjoy and there is enough creativity here to get you away from the traditional buffalo wing sauce. Of course, there are more traditional items on the menu, but for most people I suspect they come here for the wings. The drinks are fairly standard with a large selection of the usual suspects. Inside, there are TVs at every angle with live sports or the in-house poker and quiz games. The entertainment options are not lacking. One of the nice touches I truly appreciate is the process for picking up to-go orders. Unlike most places that hand you your bags and encourage you to move on so they can get to the next customer, BWWs will go through every order in your bag to ensure that it is accurate. It definitely alleviates the issue of getting home to find out your order was completely off base. The Tampa/St. Pete area is not short on wing joints, but most of them fall far short of BWWs in my opinion. read more

B-dubs is a nice reminder of being in college in the Midwest. This place is just so much fun between all the TVs and the trivia games.
