The food was ice cold and I realized that it must have been ready when I first arrived and it was overlooked. It's no secret that I'm addicted to B-dubs. I literally have a tantrum if I don't have at least one bottle of their medium sauce in my fridge at all times. This location in particular has become our go-to place when my husband and I get a rare night without the kids. It's kind of a sleepy little version of a typical B-dubs mostly due to its location....so much so that they close earlier than the average bar. However, they do great business in the early evenings as more of a family place. The servers are pretty good though the service always seems to be better on the bar side for some reason. I do agree with one of the previous posters about the heating / cooling system. There is NOOOOOO happy medium! They keep it icy cold in there. read more

They looked okay. However, I also ordered the chicken tender meal for my other son. When the associate opened the box, there was literally 10 fries. It looked like a kids meal. But this was the adult platter. When I questioned it, the girl checking me out simply said "I'm not gonna lie... We are expensive. That is what you get." When I said "would you pay $58 for all of this?" She said "no." I then said "what are you going to do to make me happy?" She said "nothing." And her manger was standing right to her. We've been to this location a number of times and it has been OK. This past weekend though was different. Our family walked in, were sat after a little bit of a wait, and then nothing. It was obvious that they were understaffed for that amount of tables, but not one server or employee stopped by. Didn't see anyone that resembled a manager either. Why anyone would ever eat here is beyond me. The wings are about the most expensive, gross tasting, smallest excuse for prepared chicken. I once showed a buddy who got takeout from here and I got it from Hoggy's the slow smoked gigantic wings that came with my meal...we held them up together and any of the ones in my box were the size of two or more of BW's wings. Plus the sauce wasn't chunky and the Hoggy's wings had a clear advantage of a smoke ring. He threw his away and went to Hoggy's. Unfortunately the nearest Hoggy's is now in Gahanna. I suggest The Tilted Kilt or Quaker Steak for wings. The sides here are no better, the potato wedges taste like they've been laying in grease for days. I had the worst experience for take out here. I ordered about $40 worth of food from this location 2 hours in advance for pick up. Once my husband arrived all of our food except one kids meal was prepared. They ran out of Mac and cheese so they were waiting for us to arrive to figure out a substitution. The problem is, they had our phone number but didn't bother to call in those 2 hours, they just let my food get cold while they substituted kids meals. They didn't compensate for anything, we just had to deal with the cold food and lack of communication. So I emailed corporate, asked for a reply, I never received an email or call from them. Ordered the chili cheese dip last night and the SMALL container that held the chili cheese dip was not even half way full! I conveniately asked the waiter if this was normal and she said no and said I will bring you more. Leaving the Zoo on Tuesday I was hungry for my weekly $.60 wing fix. This was the closest BW3 location, but YELP showed awful reviews... But I was too hungry to care. I was pleasantly surprised, and am wondering what all the bad press is about? The wings were BIG, and they got my order just right (all flats, well done and wet). The manager and bar tender were very friendly and very attentive. The restaurant appeared clean and well kept. TV volume was maybe one notch high for my taste. It was not very busy, but it was 1:30pm, just after the lunch rush. I'll definitely be back if my next Zoo trip is on a Tuesday. read more

Ive been coming to this location for years and in general decent food and service but something must have happened to them in last several months. Last couple times ive ordered here the quality of food has declined and the awareness of time. Ive dined in and litteraly waited 50 minutes for my food to come out. Ive ordered online and had to wait an extra 20 minuted for food to be done after arriving. Last night however may be the last time I visit this location. Ordered wings and a side salad. This is THE best BW3's I've been to. My husband, son and I come in maybe once per month and always have a good experience. However, about a week ago, we were in and I noticed they still had a summer shandy sauce that I had heard (from the waitress) hadn't been well received. I tried it and LOVED IT. The manager heard I loved it and, given it wasn't doing well and was about to expire on the menu, gave me a HUGE sealed bag of it to take home. The food is consistent in all locations I've been to but it's the customer service and little things like this that will have me coming back. We absolutely love this location and the staff! First I want to say I see a lot of people complaining about consistent staff. I have been going here for years and I have seen familiar faces like Austin and Allie and they have worked there since I started coming in. If you have to pick a b-subs to go to this would be the one. I think it gets a tough break because Powell is a tough crowd. Don't believe me? Look at any other powell restaurant review. The service here if your eating in is excellent. I have very few issues and ones I did have were handled to my satisfaction. My first trip to this location was in 2012. I used to be a regular. I have since moved and I still stop into this location from time to time even though I have a B-Dubs 6 minutes from home. This one has plenty of room to park. It's clean. People are friendly. We ordered online at 5:22pm for pickup at 7pm, I arrived at aproximately 7:05 and after paying $90.40 at the cash register I was told to go over and sign in, in which I did. After about 25 minutes of standing around waiting for my food I asked what appeared to be a manager who was running orders from the kitchen to the table area where orders were being picked up and checked. The woman said she would check but never got back to me while walking past me several times delivering other orders. I finally asked to see a manager who was fairly snotty with me asking what the problem was, I explained we ordered on line and was suppose to pick the order up at 7 and here it is now 7:40 and still no order? She said she would check. About 6 or 7 minutes later she comes out with my order explaining that the order was done at 7:33 but the first name on the order was different (my wifes name Maria) than my first name Dave but the last name was the same. . . Long story short is that the entire process was a mess, there was no real apology from anyone including the manager and the food was cold when I got it home. The only thing that was right was the order did have everything we ordered. I thought it strange your restaurant was only about 1/2 full but from the service I received I can guess why. I will not be back and will let family and friends know about the service I received and the cold food we ate while watching the Super Bowl. read more

Recently, I went to this location. It was my first visit to a Buffalo Wild Wings. I enjoyed the experience very much. I was there for lunch. There weren't many customers, so I was able to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, which I like very much. I ate the nacho burger and fries and ice cream with chocolate syrup for dessert. The nacho burger was spicy, but delicious. Having the nacho chips and jalapeno peppers makes it a unique burger. The ice cream with chocolate syrup was great. The female hostess and server were both affable and professional. Meeting with them helped me be in a jovial mood at the restaurant. I think it's a neat idea for Buffalo Wild Wings to offer patrons a chance to play either poker or trivia. Besides the food and atmosphere, it's a nice way to make the customer visits satisfying. I had a great time playing Buzztime Trivia. In the beginning, I couldn't get the geography and history questions correct. But when the sports and entertainment questions began to appear, that's when I started getting the correct answers. It was fun earning a lot of points for getting the right answers. Having the opportunity to play trivia is one reason I would like to visit Buffalo Wild Wings more. The manager stopped by my table to say hi. That was a nice gesture because I rarely get a greeting from managers at other eateries I've been to. He was kind enough to have the trivia questions appear at a TV monitor where I had a great view. This shows he is a good manager and cares about the patrons. As I left the place, a female worker said goodbye to me. It seems like that crew during that shift are affable and professional and makes a customer like myself want to come back for more visits. I'd like to dine more at this location as well as other Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in the Columbus, Ohio area. I would have the nacho burger again as well as try the other burgers, wings, and other entrees. Hopefully, I'll be able to come again when it isn't crowded.
