Came out for their Retro Christmas set-up in December 2025. It was an okay time. We wouldn't come back as a regular food spot, but we'd pop in again for another cute holiday pop-up. NOTES: -This place is COVERED in children. I have no idea why there's so many families here. We were the only table in the entire restaurant without kids. This isn't the restaurant's fault, but with high chairs and strollers in walkways and kids running around underfoot, navigating this restaurant to go pee was really stressful. Since servers use these same walkways, you would make it a few steps, run into someone else trying to use the same walkway, and everybody would have to wait to pass one at a time. PROS: -They did a great job with their holiday pop up. I assume this is your average "bar and grill" on a regular day, and I really couldn't tell with everything they did with their Christmas decorations. Wall art was wrapped in wrapping paper. Ornaments were all over. Lots of tinsel on any vertical surface. Servers wearing cute sequin holiday "ties" and little headbands. -Despite being a holiday weekend, we were able to get seated without a reservation or wait. -Service was really friendly. They were clearly busy (Understaffed or call ins, I'm not sure which), but they were friendly, and our waters were refilled and food was pretty prompt. -Booth seating was really comfortable, but it had non-movable seats and table. The wooden chairs on the tables were wiggling around with normal people sitting on them, and I'm not sure I'd call them extra-sturdy. -Their "Holiday Menu" was adorable, but it's worth mentioning that it's pretty much just renames of items on their regular menu. So you're not getting brand new dishes, but they are approachable bar faves. This might be a life-saver if you're trying to Christmas with picky eaters who already have their faves. Their full regular menu was also available. CONS: -Narrow walkways. Even without the stroller issues, some of the tables are really close together with narrow space in-between them. To get to the bathroom, it required a few maze-like attempts to get there without having to squeeze between chairs. This is not a place I'd recommend to someone who may need extra space or has mobility issues. -Food was okay. Nobody was blown away by their food but nobody was upset by it either. Just a-okay. We met our granddaughter in the Rusty Bucket last nigh as its close to her house. We did make a reservation just in case it was busy it wasn't packed just enough people to make it hum, thankfully they had the heat and a nice fire going to add to the ambiance We were seated upon arrival. Drink and food ordered. Our meals arrived quickly, I ordered the meat loaf, my wife the fish and chips our granddaughter had the burger plain. The food was OK the mash potatoes were instant not from fresh potatoes and served on a cold plate so the food didn't stay warm for long. Pretty average overall. read more

Rusty Bucket has always been a good spot for good basic food. Fish & Chips, Meatloaf, Chicken Tenders, Nickel salad. Decided to visit the Worthington Hills location last night and was very dissapointed. Although parking lot and wait line was full / crowded, found two bar seats upstairs and felt lucky! Ordered a drink (old fashion) and after 15 minutes, it arrived full of ice, and very very weak. Was probably a sign but we quickly ordered dinner. Ordered their Salmon dinner and Nickel Salad with Salmon. Both are normally very good. Our food arrived 50 minutes later. Not only was everything cold - not once did anyone ask if we needed a refill or another drink. Besides delay and temperature, overall meal had good flavor-taste, but it was just unbelieveable how the timing was. I would normally just think we got lost in the shuffle, but watched the couple next to us, ask for refills on water and got nothing. 10 minutes later they asked someone else and got it in 1 minute. Really good food in a former steakhouse setting, with a full bar and good friendly wait staff. The Soy Glazed Salmon is cooked to order; the soy sauce is light and sweet. The Chicken Parmesan is also very good, again slightly sweeter than expected, served with noodles, and is a large portion. read more

Had a family dinner party of 8 @ the Worthington RB. Greeted immediately and the team pivoted and changed tables for us bc the first group ran late - well done. Our food was typical RB/CMR quality - top shelf. Most importantly, our waitress "Josie" was just "out of this world" service oriented. Rusty Bucket is your typical tavern. I got the turkey burger and a side of Mexican street corn salad. Both were just what I expected and pretty solid. Service was fine and we were in and out pretty quickly. Overall it was a decent meal, just as expected for typical pub food, but nothing really stood out - OK in my book! read more

My husband and I always love visiting this restaurant when visiting family nearby. Our most recent visit over Thanksgiving was extra-special thanks to Colin! Wow, Colin really knows his stuff. Speaking as a frequent traveler and restaurant aficionado who's married to a retired chef, I really notice when a server is knowledgable (or not). Colin answered every question about the menu with an incredible level of detail. He set expectations and well. And if something came out from the kitchen for our large-ish party that was a little off, he noticed before we did and handled it. Colin was well-informed, kind, warm, and funny. We've been going here for years. We always get the peel and eat shrimp and it has always been fantastic. We went the other night and the shrimp was clammy, and almost warm. I was in town to visit my brother who goes to Ohio state and there was about 10 of us who wanted to go out to dinner and we decided on the rusty bucket. It was a great decision. Everyone's food was wonderful and our server Giovani was outstanding. I started with a bowl of French onion and it was amazing had a light but good flavor to it. Then my girlfriend had the Philly cheesesteak and it was amazing and a big portion. And I had the beef stroganoff and it was presented so nice and tasted even better. We weren't huge fans of the bbq and Philly sauces but other people probably would be. We stopped into the Rusty Bucket after a wine tasting at The Hills for further snacks and hanging out. We got there around 8:30, and they're open until 10. There was a 20 minute wait, but we were able to snag some seats at the bar and put an order in immediately! We only ordered appetizers. My group has all been to various locations of the Bucket previously, and enjoyed our food. Tonight we had Buffalo Cauliflower and Peel and Eat Shrimp. The cauliflower was oK, the pieces were kind of big, making them not quite cooked through. We ended up ordering a second bucket of shrimp, we liked them so much! It's cold shrimp with a lot of Old Bay, so perfect for picking at with a drink and some good friends. The bartenders were very prompt and very nice. At 10:15 PM, one of them very politely asked if we were ready to cash out so he could close up. They didn't say a word before that, and even though we had slightly overstayed our welcome, they were very nice about helping us wrap up and get out the door. read more

We had good service and the food was good. We did have a bit of a wait to get our food but they were very busy. My BBQ Chicken Salad was just what I expected and very tasty. I asked for no tortilla chips and they got that right. Everyone at my table was pleased with their order. Can I blame this all on Bidenomics? I don't think so but sure it contributed. Price completely out of line with quality and portion sizes. Quality: Poor, heavily breaded and fish lacked any flavor. Fries were horrible. How about serving true thick chips fries? Coleslaw with hardly any dressing mixed in. Portions as it relates to price: For the price large chips should have been served, coleslaw was served in a small soufflé cup and bad. Should have just saved it. Only one small soufflé cup of tartar sauce, for 23 bucks would think one more tartar sauce could have been afforded. Conclusion: Very Poor price to quality. Should have just bought McDonalds 2 fish sandwiches and large fries for 10 bucks would have been much better and saved a lot. Nickel Salad Price: $9.00 + The portion size was more like a side salad. Good old rusty bucket! I've been to other locations but didn't even know this one was here (by Hills Market), so I went. :) My husband and I ordered the wings, and a few drinks. He had the Cuban sandwich and I had the salad. First I must say that service was excellent! Absolutely no issues at all. The wings were very good and flavorful. I'm glad we didn't get the habanero as the regular were hot enough! My husband said the Cuban was ok and it looked good, juicy! The fries looked tasty too. My salad (green goddess salad) was just ok. Nothing was wrong with it, but I expected it to taste better. There wasn't enough dressing on it and the Brussels sprouts were those dried up tasting kind. Maybe I'm just a fan of cooked Brussels, either way it was nothing to write home about. That said, the drinks, wings and service were excellent and we will be back, of course! read more

We stopped in for an early dinner and the place was already packed. Service was friendly, but a little slow. We didn't mind since we weren't in a hurry. They sat us near the front but forgot to close the shades, so we sat most of the time with the sun in our eyes. We couldn't get anyone's attention to resolve the issue. We received a gift card so decided to have a date night. We ordered the pierogis as an app. which was delicious but $$ for 4 small pierogis. I think it was $10. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and I got a entree salad which was small. The low rating is for the service, or lack there of. We sat on the patio and arrived at 8:30. There were 4 servers on the patio and it looked pretty dead inside so I figured we would get our food/drinks quickly. Wrong. I can't talk to the food itself, because my experience never got that far. It was lunchtime and the place had only a small handful of customers--and yet it took 10 minutes to get me a soft drink. And that gave me plenty of time to peruse the menu, which showed the prices to be very high. Really? $20 for fish and chips?? If your menu prices have to be that high, you must support that with your service--which you ARE in control of. I did talk this over with the manager--but it took her awhile to get to me. Between the drink time and by the time the manager got to me, I decided I was not going to stay and pay those prices and risk having the food not appear in a timely fashion. I simply told her that as I walked out. EDIT: The situation was, my wife was doing business right nearby and asked if I wanted to join her for lunch. I got there early, before her, and that's when the soft drink situation came up and started all this. After we went elsewhere and my wife went back to finish up her business, her colleague remarked on how odd it was that she got back on time--because, the colleague acknowledged, service at this Bucket is known to be horribly slow. read more

Be wary of ordering delivery from this restaurant. I ordered food at 3:40pm for a requested 5:00 delivery (the option to schedule the delivery time is on their site), and the order wasn't delivered until 5:30. They use Door Dash, charge a premium for delivery plus a tip which is worth it when the food is delivered on time and still warm. By the time I got my food, it was cold. The sweet potato fries were clumped together in a brown paper sack instead of using foil to keep them warm. The rest of the food was poor quality as well. I'm done with Rusty Bucket. read more

Have been a customer since the Dublin location opened way back. Visit Worthington Hills location often to eat in or carry out. Tonight was what might be my last visit. Seated in front part of restaurant with a reservation and 5 booths open after much discussion among hostesses in right booth closest to lobby. Quickly find out we get to hear every phone conversation that comes in during our seating because the phone is right next to my head. Facing TVs and seeing a commercial for Time/life country music the entire time. Our waitress, Riley was the only good part of our experience this evening. She was excellent. Food was either under or overcooked depending on the dish. No manager presence identified. It will be a long time and the last resort before we come back. read more

Tried a variety of things on the menu, without disappointment. I ha e a usual go-to with the Baja fish tacos and instead I tried the citrus salmon. It was decadent and the quinoa side was delish! My Dad enjoyed the Pot Brown (whatever the Sunday special is) over potatoes instead of Texas toast and the turkey was cooked perfectly. Never go wrong with an appetizer of fried pickles, too! The food produced is good. SIMON is the WORST! This guy asks how we are, we cheerfully respond and then ask him how he is to which he says, "I'm functioning". Seriously? This is how your going to awkwardly greet us??? It all went downhill from there. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks. I asked for two condiments that took TWENTY minutes to have him only bring one back, and this was after having to ask him twice. I ended up grabbing the other myself out of the cabinet on the patio that I figured they were in the whole time. Dudes got problems. During this condiment retrieval wait time, we heard him greet EVERY table of his with the same "I'm functioning" line. First, no he's NOT functioning. Secondly, you could tell all the guests were affected by his crappy attitude. Shame on you Rusty Bucket for being so desperate during these hard hiring times that you'd keep Simon on your payroll. I find the inside very dark with no windows and right now sitting outside is so loud as there is construction next door. I went for a quick lunch after tennis. Our waiter was great. Ordered the blackened salmon salad with dressing on the side. The salad arrived with dressing on the salad, but was rectified promptly. The salmon was cooked well. All in all a good experience.
