The server came over ask for drink orders and came right back with drinks and menus. Asked right away if we wanted to order. I asked for him to give us a minute. He disappeared for 20 minutes and never came back. There was one other table in the whole restaurant. Its not like he was busy, we just never saw him again. So we left. When we walked in, the host was helping someone so we waited, once he was done with those previous costumers, he kind of just stared at us. I asked if he was the host then he said yes and I asked for a table for 4. He just grabbed menus and walked into the seating area. So we assumed to follow him since he was not talking to us? He sat us at a table that was dirty and we had kids with us so when we got to the table the server came up right away and greeted us as she watched us clean the table. She didn't say anything so I asked her if we could get a rag or something and she looked displeased with me asking.. let me be clear I did not ask her to clean the table, I asked for a rag or something to continue to clean the table. After that, she was very neglectful of our table and just acted like we were bothering her every time we waved her down. We ordered the all you can eat appetizers. We got fried pickles, mozzarella sticks and onion rings as well as lemon pepper and spicy garlic wings. The fried pickles were cooked perfectly and so were the mozzarella sticks. I think the frying oil was fresh this day which was nice. Considering all the food we had, the price was very good! Management has continue to make strong gains in retaining solid service staff and the food quality has improved. We just need to see some ageing equipment like TV's replaced and to swap the wood high-top stools for metal frames - they certainly show their age - but the core experience is very good and is now a place I enjoy visiting regularly. read more

This place has become so much better with their limited staff, MICHELLE is always my fav. We come in for her. She makes a killer margarita & always quick with our food requests. I honestly have never been so disappointed. The service here was absolutely atrocious. Waited 20 min in a dead restaurant for the server to even come get our drink order. After that waited another 20 min for two cocktails. The server then didn't come back for 30 min and I had to go to the bar to order more drinks. Since I discovered this location about six months ago, I found it to be a more enjoyable location than the Gurnee Mills one just a few miles away. It's less populated than the Fountain Square location, though. Oddly enough, or maybe not, this location and the Fountain Square location are both exactly across from LA Fitness facilities. Bartenders and servers here at the Round Lake Beach Buffalo Wild Wings are very nice, very friendly, polite, and attentive. It's like most other BDubs locations, lots of sports on TV, always good music, always clean. Ninety-nine percent of the time I get Wings, boneless or traditional. Recently I had a Kansas City crispy chicken sandwich and it was actually really good! I'm doing my best to cut down on carbs, not completely but mostly, and this location has been very accommodating and swapping out french fries with steamed vegetables. My wife and I have been going here for years and watched the slow transition from fun sports bar into a less than customer friendly experience. The most ridiculous thing they do is serve one person at a time. If you are the diner getting your meal first you have two options, wait for the others to get their meal resulting in your food being cold and barely edible or eat while the others watch and then you get to return the favor and watch them. How stupid is that! If we go back which is a BIG if. It will be for a sporting event. One positive is that the burgers are very good but beware. Would give a zero if I could . Ordered dinner on DD for my family after a long day for all of us. We were missing a whole meal and a salad. I initially called the DD driver, who said to call the restaurant; he didn't have the extra food. As soon as the person answered and I said I was missing items, he asked if I was (my name) and apologized for the missing items (which were still incorrect) and stated we could pick up the food. I replied we would, but should be comped for the missing meal, as they messed up and DD couldn't do anything (plus the whole convenience thing of why we ordered food in the first place). He said he was getting his manager, put me on hold for a long time, then said "do you still want to talk to her? Because she said there's nothing she can do" and I said yes, because your restaurant messed up the order, not DD. He hung up on me. My dad went to pick up the order, and was told it wasn't ready, and the mgr gave him an earful that I was belligerently screaming, swearing and insulting her employee. She had a major attitude. Ummm...what??? I didn't even raise my voice once, much less curse or name call. I said with conviction that I would like a refund before being hung-up on. This was the absolute worst experience ever. Made an order on Grubhub last night and it was a mess. They were missing the drinks and appetizer. They also gave me boneless wings without sauce. What was laughable was there a as a sticker signed by a "BK" checking off boxes claiming to have double checked the order was correct. Clearly, BK is not actually checking orders. Ordered online on a Thursday at 5:30, opted for delivery...2 hrs, so I called and asked to switch to pickup, which showed less than an hour when I looked...they said it'd be 2 plus hours. Fine, I'll get delivery...they had the wrong salad order, so I'm sure someone else was upset as it was an upgrade from my order. Any time we dine in, we have to wait when the place is nearly empty because they either have 1 server or not enough kitchen staff to roll the orders out.
