The place was packed for a weekday, but our wait time was less than 10 minutes. The restaurant is pretty spacious and there is also a waiting area. I got the spicy margarita. It wasn't too spicy and a balance amount of alcohol. All the appetizers were pretty solid. Nothing unique. Just good fried food with tasty dipping sauce. My prime rib was cooked preferably medium rare. I liked that there wasn't a lot of excess fat. The meat was super tender. Overall, we would come back.

I just love me some Texas Roadhouse. Came here to celebrate my birthday with the family. I love how you can get a nice sized ribeye with some shrimp, and 2 sides all for about $30. Perfect place to take your family for a nice meal that won't break the bank. The ribeye I got was a nice sized portion and cooked deliciously. I love love love the baked sweet potato - make sure you get the loaded version!! And the dinner rolls are to die for. Make sure you eat them while it's hot and fresh and with that delicious butter spread that comes with it! The servers even came by and celebrated my birthday with a saddle that they made me ride lol. The whole place is very friendly, very chill and laid back. The restaurant overall is a great vibe and family friendly.

This location is fairly new and I've never been to Texas Roadhouse before and decided to see what the hype is all about. To be expected, it was super packed. Even with that the wait time was only about 20-30 minutes, so we didn't have to wait long. We were seated before the estimated wait time which was nice. Even though the restaurant was packed, it seemed clean and well put together. We were seated and I got to try the infamous dinner rolls with the cinnamon butter, and it was worth all the hype. Warm buttery rolls helped the cinnamon butter melt and together they were delightful. Our waiter was nice and offered his opinion on the cocktails, which was nice. For my cocktail, I got the Jamaican cowboy but asked for it slushed, and it was really good! It came in a decent size, but I was so tempted to order another! For my meal I ordered a half rack of ribs, loaded baked potato and corn. Everything was great besides the corn, I've never had bland corn but this corn missed the mark on flavor. No big deal though because I enjoyed everything else! My son ordered the kids meal mini burger sliders with fries and apple juice. He really enjoyed his meal, I snagged a fry and I have to say that fry was one of the best fries I've had at a restaurant to date! I'm happy I finally got to try Texas roadhouse and look forward to coming back soon!

Texas Roadhouse never disappoints when it comes to hearty, flavorful meals. I ordered the 16oz sirloin steak cooked perfectly to my liking, it was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Adding a little A1 sauce on top just took it over the edge. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth, and the house salad was fresh with a nice balance of toppings and dressing. And of course, the free bread and cinnamon butter are as amazing as ever. Definitely one of the highlights of eating here! The service was great, friendly, and attentive. The only hiccup was that we were given two dirty plates. Overall, good experience, good food, and good vibes.

The service wasn't bad, but I feel the staff weren't very well trained to handle a large number of people at once. The food was ok.

The restaurant is so much bigger and livelier and were so excited to see all of their success. Definitely come early to be able to try their brisket and Tony Mac! You wont regret anything you try but those are defnitely our favorites. Oh and the ribs, if you're looking for the incredible smokey juicy flavor look no further. Any of their bbq sauces are great and pair well, but we highly recommend giving their original a go because of the perfect balance of sweet, savory, with a bit of a kick.

"Old School" customer service, Hospitality and appreciation for our customers is key and loyalty goes both ways friends. I was very interested to try the food here after trying a couple items that were served at a friend's party. I asked to say Hi to the owner as a entrepreneur myself. They said they would be out shortly at my request, being my first time and spending well over $300 to try some of their dishes I was extremely insulted to see that the owner never had the courtesy to say Hello as I waited. In my world, "old school" customer service is success because without customers you have nothing. I also believe that you should always remember where you came from. The food was very pricey for the Area and not worth the disrespect I felt. After this experience I'll stay with Hecky's in Evanston where we are recognized, greeted by name and given a positive everything when I walk in by the owners Daughter, Gigi...RIP Senior. Hecky's is located North Shore with more than fair prices, above par food and traditional style barbecue. Big Ed's is in Waukegan and we paid double plus for the food and a very poor customer service experience ‍ along with overpriced barbecue and sides. I got lots of sauce for not enough barbecue. If I could have cancelled I would have but it was the first time and the last time. I asked one last time "What happened to the owner who was supposedly was going to say Hello?" They said he left through the side door because he was busy. His picture is on a large sign outside and this man was at Aldi when I stopped for apples on the way back home to Arlington Heights. Go to Hecky's in Evanston, Smoque in Chicago, even Joe's Barbecue in Hillside. Good Luck Big Ed!!!

When we (my husband and I) arrived we placed an order EVA gave us our number and gestured that we can sit anywhere we chose. While we were waiting for our food I was quietly observing her, she wiped down all dining table, positioned them correctly, scooted all the chair in, picked up and discarded an empty cup sitting on counter, checked with the kitchen while keeping an eye on everyone coming in. This young lad is hard working, dedicated, striving to provide the highest quality of service with a smile. EVA you have my deepest gratitude for your dedication and service. A Great New Addition to Gurnee--Beef, Shakes, and Rainbow Ice Cream!…read moreI dropped by the brand-new Buona Beef in Gurnee to grab dinner to go! It's located on the west side of town, safely away from the craziest of the mall traffic. Just a quick heads-up on navigation: if you're heading east, finding the entrance can be a little tricky. You have to turn left at N. Hutchins Road and spot the side road tucked behind the tall swamp grass! Inside, the restaurant is beautifully clean. It took about 10 minutes to prep my order, which included two Italian beef sandwiches, a side of potato salad, a Caesar salad (both prepackaged), and an order of their arancini beef bites. You get three to an order, and while they taste good, they completely fall apart the second you take a bite, so be careful! I actually watched a video on their history and learned they use a commissary kitchen to ensure the flavor stays consistent across all locations, which makes sense. It's a solid, reliable local chain and a really nice alternative to the usual burger or chicken franchises. As a massive bonus, there is a Rainbow Cone ice cream parlor right inside the building! Our office actually had their truck visit us before, so we already knew how good it is. I couldn't resist bringing home a gallon of the rainbow ice cream, a slice of cake, and the four sugar cones they pack up for you to scoop at home. I even signed up for their rewards program. With a huge menu that covers everything from beef and burgers to fresh salads, it's a great, handy new spot to have in the area! BTW, service was a little slow. Maybe they are still training?
