This place is perfect for the Sport's enthusiast as there are TV's on every wall pretty much, for fans to catch their favorite teams playing. There is also, a separate room off the bar area for large gatherings. Our waiter was warm and friendly. He took our order promptly.... we waited and waited for our food to come out. Mind you we ordered two sandwiches and a bowl of soup. The soup came out and again we waited. Unfortunately, all we got to try was the soup as we had an event we had to get to as our sandwiches when asked were not prepared. Sometimes things happen when you run a business and it is how you handle them that is the difference between just a restaurant and a great restaurant. This restaurant would earn five stars on just how things were handled. Kudos go to the staff there.... The French Onion soup we had for me was not my cup of tea as it was over seasoned and had way too many croutons which between the seasoning and bread overpowered the soup. My partner in crime thought it tasted OK and proceeded to devour the soup so will leave that up to you to decide LOL !!!!

Over the course of dinner, the place never really filled up. And as the evening went on, I found out why. I will say that the food was very good - we asked for the Clams Casino and the Mozzarella Wedge. Soup of the day was New England Clam Chowder, it was nice and thick and loaded with both potatoes and clams. Definitely one of the better ones I've had. Dinner was the BLI Burger, which my wife tells me was very good but no better than quite a few deli's in Syracuse. I ordered the Truffle Gnocci and Scallops, which was expensive for the portion I got - they tried to make it look bigger by serving it in a large bowl but no one was fooled. About 6 gnocci and 3 scallops with some mushroom risotto. Pathetic. Then came the coup de grace... two filet au poivre with the Lazy Surf and Turf. What does this really mean, you might ask? Well, instead of getting a lobster tail they pull the meat out and serve it in a bowl of butter for you. Hence, "lazy" - you don't have to do any work. And they charge exorbitantly for this service. So the price was $74 for the steak with an additional upcharge of $28 for the "lazy" lobster tail. One guest got the lobster tail, one didn't. Was it good? Yes. Was it worth the price? Absolutely not - I've been to Chicago and gotten a better, larger cut of steak for far less than this. So for dinner the bill came to a little over $300 (not including tip). Ridiculous to pay for 4 dinners and a few appetizers, especially when one of them was a burger and fries. I could have gone to the Grotto in North Syracuse, gotten bigger portions, better quality food and spent about half as much. As it stands, I won't be back - not because of the food quality or the service, but because the prices are far too much for far too little.

I was worried at first because they had live music, but it was far enough away that we could hear it faintly you were still able to have a great conversation and enjoy a great meal. The service was top-notch. Our meals came out in a timely manner, giving us enough time to enjoy each course after we die and we went to see the music. I definitely will be back and book a table closer to the music and enjoy a casual meal.

Our server, Lana, was friendly and attentive. We had the charcuterie to start. For $28 dollars it was pretty good. Enough to go around for three people and a decent variety. Would've liked another fruit besides olives but that's okay. The bread was the favorite for me. I had the standard burger. That wasn't good. Very, very dry on a dry, thick bun. No "special sauce" in sight and the meat was overdone. The fries were good, but not how I like them. They're a better version of 5 Guys fries, which I mean as a compliment. Overall, not bad, not great. Probably won't be back though. Probably an extra star more than deserved, but they caught a stray since another local establishment couldn't be bothered to actually have food.

They have happy hour during the week from 4-6pm where we got the margarita and a hugo spritz and they were both delicious! For food, we got the crab cakes, which were amazing and the sauce they came with was absolutely delightful. We also got the lobster pasta which was really good. We didn't get it but I also got a picture of their bacon flight which is literally a bunch of hanging slices of crispy bacon which looked tasty. The vibe of this place is really cool and they even have an outdoor bar and fire pits which were fun to sit by in the evening. There is also plenty of free parking in their lot. Overall, this is a really good place and I'll be coming back for sure.
