Been coming here every Sunday for the last few months. The food is so comforting and well made. The team are like family now, always great conversation and company. Love to have the ice cream right after breakfast too. Highly recommend if looking for a cozy farm fresh breakfast / lunch diner.

They asked about my allergies and even toasted my bread on a separate pan. We loved it so much we came back the next day. I tried the Little Breakfast with gf toast and the Ruby Sue on gf toast. Plus the puppy picture name wall was adorable and they name meals after them! Our server was nice and the menu had interesting choices, but sadly they sounded better than what they were. - the scramble was not that great...overdone eggs and I'm not a fan of slapping a square piece of cheese on eggs. I think shredded cheddar would have been a better choice and the crumbly-sausage was an odd choice for breakfast sausage - I was excited they had hash browns but they were premade with garlic powder and came out mushy. They left a lingering weird garlic flavor - turkey sandwich had real turkey breast which was great but it was too hot and made the sandwich soggy - burrito was good but the homefries were burnt beyond repair Lots of parking on the side and front area

We were completely satisfied across the board!…read more When we arrived, we were greeted behind a group of young couples with kids who we heard mention they were there the day before. The friendly hostess offered outside or inside seating. We elected to sit inside, but the walls were open, so we enjoyed the pleasant breeze without being blinded or scorced by sun. Our server was very friendly and checked on us with the perfect amount of regularity. Our breakfasts were very tasty. Julie enjoyed the "Yo' Bowl" while I savored the "Classic Benny!" If you plan to shop the Old Mystik Village, start your morning with Toast and Tonic!

They might be a tad bit under staffed cause we did wait a bit before someone got us a table and even to pay and get some of the bakery items was a bit of a wait, but it wouldn't stop me from going again. The food actually came out fairly quickly. The wife and I both got the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and my son got the French toast. I will admit, when my wife wanted to come here I really wasn't in the mood for anything I saw on the menu. We were on vacation and we weren't having much luck with food options the whole time so I was just being picky. That all changed tho when food arrived because that sandwich was excellent and really hit the spot. And the fries.....if you like McDonald's fries, you will like these even more because to me that's what they reminded of when their fries used to be good. My son enjoy his French toast. Will definitely go back. Price was reasonable as well. Oh!! Almost forgot about the bakery items. We got a chocolate chip cookie, a macadamia nut cookie and my son wanted macaroons. The cookies were awesome and I guess the macaroons were too cause my son ate them all and wouldn't share

Nice open yet cozy seating and friendly smiles all around. Two of us had a delicious Cobb salad - we both felt it needed a bit more dressing - but it was super fresh and tasty. One had a steakhouse burger which she really liked as well and we split Shed Fries and Sweet Potato fries. All was delicious. I knocked one star off because we all really felt the burgers should have come with fries as opposed to a pickle spear and coleslaw. For the price, an added pile of fries would have been nice as opposed to having to order a side plate. That aside, food was delicious, service was spectacular. John was super friendly and helpful with choices too. Tempted to go back to try their brunch items! Maybe before I leave I'll get back there!

The good - Service at this location was excellent - staff was very friendly and the ambiance was very nice. Shed fries were delicious (as usual)! The Cooler cocktail was very yummy but smaller than I expected. The not so good - shed wings were very average and the portion was not worth the price. The watermelon cocktail tasted very watered down. And for the worst part, the steak from the breakfast bowl was inedible. It had no flavor and was so tough, I think I was only able to eat one piece. If we weren't going to a show, I would've sent it back and at least gotten something different to take home. We wanted to love this location as we do the others, but for the price, we will go elsewhere next time we visit Mohegan.

The parking lot is 'smallish' on the right side of the building and flows right to left in one direction, so be sure to look for the 'enter' sign. There are three steps up into the diner so be aware of that if you have difficulty using steps. Also, the restroom is tiny: like so small the sink is about a foot long by half as much wide, small. We stop in here on our trips out to Groton. Last visit we stopped for a late breakfast/early lunch. I ordered a coffee and it came in a nice big mug and is a mellow blend with a smooth finish. There are photo descriptions on the table of what your eggs will look like based on how you order it, so no surprises. What a great idea. The table holds napkins, hot sauces, salt & pepper, jellies, creamer and sugars. The staff are pleasant. Some are more chatty than others. There are definitely some regulars here each time we visit. The menu has lots of breakfast options but there are no substitutions so you may need to order al a carte or get a different 'meal' option and add-on an item. Just a heads up. They have plenty of toast options including English muffins. The lunch menu is a variety of sandwiches and burgers. Fries are tasty. Lettuce and tomato on your sandwiches are fresh. I can't think of a single disappointment we've had here. If you are in the area and enjoy a nice diner experience, stop in to Norm's.

Went while on vacation, everything was excellent, will definitely go back again and again.read more

Seated promptly and our server took our drink orders. They had plenty of St. Patrick's Day specials to choose from which included Shepard pie, corned beef sandwiches and various other dishes. We ordered pancakes, blue cheese bacon burger with fries. Very short wait before our meals showed up. Three large pancakes with plenty of butter and a nice bottle of syrup that was on the table. The burger was cooked medium as requested and was large on a nice soft bun with loads of blue cheese and bacon. Lettuce and tomato were on the side which was good because the burger was so big before adding them that you wouldn't be able to get a bite of it. Season of the meat was excellent and this was probably one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. A small container of coleslaw was on the side. Fries were very crispy and stayed that way through the meal. Service was excellent and the seating was very comfortable. Will definitely have return trips there for lunch if we're in the area.

Both were good meals, and we enjoyed very satisfying experiences with the food and the service (and really, the pricing, too). The menu is expectedly large but not ungainly so -- this is not the sort of diner that offers 500 items. We rather like this one, which incudes breakfast served all day. For breakfast we loved their short rib hash, exceptionally tasty and well-made, and so was the just-right-spicy breakfast burrito, and, for that matter, the plain ol' eggs and bacon. Our lunch included good burgers and chicken sandwiches with fries (crispy, as requested). The restaurant and restrooms are clean, there's plenty of parking, and it's always made for a good, anticipated visit for us.
