Extremely frustrated with Skyline Pest. Scheduled an appointment with them for an inspection/termite letter. I confirmed the date and time of the appointment TWICE to ensure we were aligned because I would have to travel an hour each way to get to the property. Day of the appointment, I had waited an hour into the two hour window and decided to call and see if there were going to be delays due to bad weather. When I called, the person on the phone said that the appointment was actually scheduled for the next day. This is unvelieveable when I confirmed the day and date TWICE prior to the appointment with them. You would think someone would have caught it on their end. Instead, I wasted 4 hours of my time away from work waiting for someone who wasn't coming. You get what you pay for. They are cheaper then some other companies, but my time is worth more. I've been a customer of Skyline for the past couple of years. However when it changed to Bug Out, I don't know my representative and I've left messages for the past 2 weeks with no response from Bug Out. Every time I call, I can never get an actual person, only recordings. I'm not sure when they've come last to my house because I have seen many bugs recently! Do not use them. Charging for services they did not complete. We had Skyline Pest Solutions now called Bug Out to come and spray for mosquitoes and when the technician came he did not do anything because it started to rain. He said he would be back and never did. Then we received a bill for a full service and sent to collection. We've called multiple times and always told that a supervisor will call and never does. We've written them as well and no response. We are willing to pay a portion of the service but not for the full amount as it was not complete. No one calls back nor responds. read more

The service I received was horrible! Mosquitos continued to be on the outside of our home and spiders continued to be on the inside. We had to go to Home Depot and buy our own bug spray to try to help with the problem. Skyline continued to bill us for a service that we did not receive. read more

Another poor review by this company. Upon inspection of my house for another realtor of which I have no say in who they choose! (These guys are so dishonest). The "pest guy" told the realtor that my HVAC was "shot". Not only do they know nothing about pest solutions (other than trying to scam people) they are also HVAC experts!!! Frustrating doesn't begin to describe our experiences with Skyline. When we bought our house 2 years ago they held the bond. New activity on our property - won't cover it. However, interestingly enough, they've said that their old termite baiting system isn't all that great so they are switching to Sentricon (hmmm.....sounds very suspicious to me!). It's taken SIX MONTHS after we signed the contract, THREE MONTHS after we paid for the service and still the Sentricon system is not installed correctly. Run from this company! read more

Shortly after my initial review I was contacted by upper management. They apologized for the issue and took steps to keep this from recurring. I was given direct contact info for a rep that could help me. She was very responsive and took care of the current issue. I am writing you on yelp because I cannot get one of the four different managers, the 5 different customer service individuals, or the freaking marketing person to return a phone call to resolve an issue I'm having. What more can I say than "GREAT" about a company that keeps the bugs out of my home, kindly answers my sometimes stupid "buggy" questions, and comes promptly to look at my situations when they arise? Oh yes, they taken care of all my situations free of charge under their warantee policy. And their fees are reasonable, their technicians polite and professional, and even the president intervened one weekend when I was doing something wrong on their website! Please do not use this company. They have been a headache to work with. Every single time I have had an appointment for at least the last two years I have had an issue. They have no called, no showed on three scheduled appointments. They have serviced my property without an appointment (while my scared dog was there). I bought a security camera and a lock just to guarantee they couldn't trespass again. They have been hours late to appointments. Today I had an appointment, paid for a dog sitter, and surprise, they canceled on me. I've lost PTO, paid dog sitters, lost hours at work, begged people to watch my house and they have no concern for people's time and money. I asked to have a manager call and of course no one has. I worked at Skyline Pest Solutions for about two years and decided to leave the company. I worked out a notice and continued to do my job very well. This included selling and inspections. Skyline, however, has a policy that they won't pay for any work that is completed after the employee leaves. They typically get the job done in two to three weeks and this is widely known. That POLICY keeps them from paying out thousands of dollars to people who earned it. My suggestion is to find a local guy...they are part of a larger company. Allen read more

We have used the pest control services for several years since it was Trademark. We LOVED Trademark and skyline was good as well. We maintained our amazing tech Ken through the changes and never thought of changing service. Recently ownership was bought out by Bug out and service is horrible. I never found out who my technician was or received service. I have received a bill for service I never received and just recently was sent to collections????!!!!! Seriously???? This is ridiculous. I am a loyal customer. I have used several services regular pest control, mosquito treatment year after year and actually had to use wildlife one time and paid approx 1600$ for the work done, which was all done fantastically and all techs were phenomenal. Now since Bug Out took over I have no idea who our new technician is because it was changed and I was never contacted. I have called and gotten a representative in another state not local which is frustrating and also called and left messages for the manager and she has never called me back. I have had such a sour experience and I am so disappointed since we loved our service previously with Trademark. read more

No one wants to hear they have roof rats, but my home was infested. Skyline came out immediately and identified the problem, including the several points of entry. Within a few days, the house was sealed. Skyline made several trips out to my home, even after being fully paid, to ensure the problem was solved. They are professional, courteous and prompt. After being a customer for 5+ years I am done with this company. Terrible customer service. They mistakenly canceled my service (I wasn't aware because I rent my house out), and when I called to restart, not only wouldn't they honor my previous rate, they wanted me to pay a $150 start up fee! And they had an attitude about it too. I will say their service reps who visit the house were always great though. But this is unacceptable. read more

We have been in our home for 1 year. 4 months in, the spot on the ceiling our inspector said was fine and nothing became a massive leak which turned into a huge hole. At our 1 year mark, we found termites in our downstairs bathroom. Don't trust your home to Skyline Pest Control, you will regret it if you do. They are a joke! read more

Terrible company! Make sure you are home when they come. They often do not show up and then bill you anyway like they came and completed the service. I received a termite inspection report and bill for $280 and Skyline had never shown up. The report stated that the worker had been at my house for 1 hour and 20 minutes and the home owner was not home to sign the report. I had been home the entire time waiting on him! Another time they came to spray for pests and hooked up to our water spigot while here and stole our water. When we confronted the man, he said "we are allowed to do that it is in your contract." That is not true! He was filling his huge tank on the back of his truck with my water! I finally got tired of all the problems and asked for a refund for my prepaid service for the final visit. I had received 10% off for prepaying for four visits, but of course the entire discount was taken off my refund instead of distributing it evenly over the service. Skyline has the most belligerent staff I have ever spoken with in my life. I would NEVER contact them or do business with them as they are very unprofessional and have no disregard for people, animals, or proper protocol. They do not follow the law. I am 9 months pregnant and the gentleman on the phone refused to explain to me how it so happened that they had traps and signs on my property without my permission that our kids that go down on the lake by and could be killed by them. When I told him I was calling the police, he said I could remove the traps (at 9 months pregnant) and he wasn't liable- kill traps. He then said he was authorized by the HOA, I could call them, and he was allowed to be on my property. He then told me he would come move them two inches so that they weren't physically on my property and put them in the lake, but not until he had the time, as he had a guy on a 50 ft ladder. He also shared with me that I should have the police them come there so he could show them he was authorized to remove because another homeowner was paying the bill. I asked for the homeowners name to contact and he refused along with the supervisor. I told him the police were in route and he said "send them, you don't own the lake." I told him that the traps were on my property and signs, and video cameras without my permission and he argued again eventually hanging up on me twice. The next thing I know the homeowner who hired them was at my door and apologizing for the rudeness of this company. We then called him jointly and he acted normal "refusing to admit what he and his staff had said or argue about it." The homeowner asked him to remove the traps by tomorrow. This is now in research phase with all parties involved. They do not follow anything but a money trail and care nothing about doing the right thing for anyone. I would again not advise anyone contact them or work with them. You will be sorry you did from getting involved in this indirectly for the safety of my family overall. We could have been killed walking in areas of our own property we didn't know had traps. read more
