They were supposed to call before they did the work. They didn't. They showed up at 7:45am unannounced. We were trying to get the Georgia Power rebate. Can you guess? They wouldn't fill out the form or do anything at all. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never got the opportunity to work with Woodman Insulation so I cannot comment on the quality of…read moretheir workmanship, only on the frustrating experience of simply trying to get a quote. I wanted to get insulation installed in my attic, and a contractor that I use regularly and highly trust recommended Woodman so I called and scheduled an appointment to get an estimate. The estimator, Bennett, came out on time, took the necessary measurements, explained to me what their general recommendation is for insulation compared to the basic requirements, and advised that he would email me a quote by the next morning. When I hadn't received an email by the following afternoon, I called him to make sure he got my email address right. He explained that he had the quote ready for me, but that he was concerned about whether the truck would be able to navigate my long, narrow driveway. I explained to him that we'd recently renovated the house and large work trucks and delivery trucks were able to get up and down it without an issue, but he said he wanted to check on it and that I would have the estimate by the following morning (a Friday). By Monday I still had not gotten anything, so I called the office. The operator advised me to call Bennett directly again, so I did. He told me he was "pulling up to the office right now" to check on the truck situation and I would have the quote shortly. THREE more days went by without an email. I called Bennett again and left a voicemail, but he did not call me back. I called the office again and explained that I had been waiting over a week for an estimate and still had not gotten one. The operator was very sympathetic and told me that someone would call me back that day. No one did. The operator called me the following day to see if I had heard from anyone and when I told her I had not, she explained that Bennett was no longer employed with the company and that another rep, Jesse, would be reaching out to me. Jesse called me shortly thereafter and explained that unfortunately, they did not have any of Bennett's notes so they would have to come back out to take new measurements for the estimate. Since it was getting close to the holidays by this time, we scheduled the appointment for 10AM on January 5th. I then told Jesse that Bennett had been concerned about the driveway and he said he would assess it when he came out. Fast forward to January 5th - 10:45AM rolls around and I have not heard from Jesse. I called the office again and explained that now I have been trying to get an estimate from them for nearly a month and now the estimator has no-showed. The operator placed me on hold to reach out to Jesse, then came back and told me that we had not scheduled an appointment. I explained that we had, and that it was for that day, as I had taken notes from our conversation. She told me Jesse would call me directly. When Jesse did call me, he was immediately on the defensive, claiming that we did not make an appointment since he had to look into the driveway situation. I reminded him that we had made the appointment before I even mentioned the driveway, and he said he would look at it when he came out here. He then offered a fake apology ("Sorry if I miscommunicated, but..") and proceeded to go on and on about how far away my home was from their office and how inconvenient it was for them to get out there (I am in Ellenwood, they are on the north side). At no point in any of my prior communications with this company did anyone mention that Ellenwood was outside of their service area. Jesse then told me he was going to consult with Jeff, the owner, and call me back. When he did, he explained that given the distance and my driveway (which no one still employed with the company had actually bothered to look at) they would not be able to come out and give me a quote. In summary, I highly recommend Woodman if you are interested in wasting a month of your life, but not if you actually want to get any service.

IF YOU NEED insulation services, call Insulation Over Atlanta!…read more Brian is very responsive throughout the estimate and delivery process and his crew is the best! We contacted Brian for a spray foam estimate in our attic spaces. Brian laser measured the spaces, inspected the structure, and walked us through the process. After reviewing quotes from other companies, we chose Insulation over Atlanta. They were not the lowest price, or the highest price, but definitely the BEST value without the attitude or the BS! On installation day, Brian and his crew were on-site on time and got to work. Brian's crew; Alfredo, Antonio, and Alex (Triple A Plus++) are awesome! We put down some protective coverings the night before and they came in and double covered their work areas. AMAZING! They were very respectful and courteous of the property and DID NOT damage a single thing. No marks on the walls, etc. The put protection and covering where and when needed which was a concern for us - we just painted the interior and had new floors installed! Also, they are extremely clean! When they were done in one area, one was cleaning while the other two were moving hoses and spaying foam. During the insulation removal process (the old stuff) they were very particular to get it all out. The teamwork with this group is awesome! The finished spaces are almost move in ready! The bottom line is - if you're considering spray foam and/or radiant barrier for your home, contact Brian and Insulation over Atlanta for an estimate and tell him you saw this review. You'll be glad you did!

We had 6 companies give us estimates for the work, including Brian. Brian's estimate seemed the most thorough and gave us the most realistic diagnosis of the space. When we decided to work with Brian, he was able to get us on the schedule very quickly. His team showed up on time and worked diligently the entire day to get the job done. They were courteous, answered all our questions and were careful moving around their equipment in our home. Our project was a two step process but it was all completed over a weekend and by Monday evening the attic was ready for storage. It now remains at a temperature within 10-15 degrees of the rest of the home. Brian has been receptive on all follow up questions and requests and was always willing to go the extra step to make sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend his company for your insulation needs!

Exceptional Service from Beginning to End…read more I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Isaac Adkison of TE Certified and the exceptional service he provided from our initial consultation through the completion of a significant plumbing repair at my home. I contacted TE Certified after discovering a concealed hot-water leak beneath the slab of my home. From the very first visit, Isaac stood out because of the thoroughness of his assessment, his knowledge, and the amount of time he took to help me understand what was happening and the different options available to address it. This was a major repair decision for me, and rather than rushing me toward a particular solution, Isaac carefully explained the advantages, disadvantages, uncertainties, and long-term considerations associated with each option. Over the days that followed, I had many questions--and I mean many! Isaac answered every one of them with an incredible amount of patience, professionalism, and detail. He never made me feel as though I was asking too much or taking up too much of his time. When I needed clarification about specific items on the estimates, how the proposed reroute would work, the existing plumbing, freeze concerns, accessibility, restoration, or the potential for future issues, he consistently responded with thoughtful and knowledgeable explanations that helped me make an informed decision. What impressed me just as much was his honesty. When there were things he could not know with absolute certainty until the walls were opened or the existing piping was further evaluated, he said so. I greatly appreciated that. I never felt pressured or given false assurances simply for the sake of making a sale. When I ultimately asked Isaac what he would recommend as the best long-term solution for my particular home, he gave me a clear professional recommendation and thoroughly explained his reasoning. That gave my family and me the confidence we needed to proceed with rerouting the hot- and cold-water lines to the kitchen through conditioned interior space. On the day of the work, that same level of professionalism continued. After locating the plumbing manifold beside the refrigerator, Isaac made an extremely clean and precise opening in the drywall, preserving the piece so that it could be neatly replaced afterward. As the routing plan developed, he initially proposed one solution, but when I expressed concern about how it would affect the appearance and countertop area of the kitchen, he listened to my concerns and was completely receptive to exploring an alternative route I suggested. He evaluated it carefully and determined that the new lines could instead be routed behind the refrigerator and stove and through the lower cabinetry to the sink. The result exceeded my expectations. Isaac, with the assistance of Reeves, completed the work with tremendous care and attention to detail. The new lines were insulated, neatly routed and securely installed, and the workmanship throughout was exceptionally clean and organized. They protected the surrounding areas while working, treated the home with care, and left the kitchen looking virtually unchanged despite the extent of the plumbing work that had been completed. You would never know from looking at the finished kitchen that such a significant reroute had taken place. Most importantly, after the new lines were installed and the water was restored, Isaac checked the water meter to verify the result. The meter was no longer moving. After dealing with the stress of a concealed leak and having to keep the hot water shut off, seeing that meter remain still--and knowing the leak had finally been resolved--was an enormous relief. Another thing I greatly respect is that the project remained at the best-case estimate I had authorized: $2,915. There were opportunities throughout this process for the scope or cost to increase, but Isaac remained transparent about the work that was actually necessary and completed the agreed-upon repair accordingly. There is a difference between someone who simply knows how to perform a trade and someone who combines technical expertise with integrity, communication, patience, problem-solving, respect for the homeowner, and genuine pride in his work. In my experience, Isaac demonstrated all of those qualities. I also want to recognize Reeves for his assistance in completing the work so carefully and efficiently. Together, they did an immaculate job. As a homeowner, especially when dealing with a costly repair in an area outside of your own expertise, it is incredibly important to feel that you can trust the person advising you. Isaac earned that trust. He did not just repair a plumbing problem; he helped me understand it, thoughtfully walked me through a difficult decision, listened to my concerns, and ultimately delivered a solution that I feel very confident about. I am genuinely grateful that Isaac was the plumber assigned to m

I requested TE to come out and diagnose why an existing circuit was not getting power. Instead of…read morejust fixing the circuit, I agreed to a new panel for my house since it was 60 years old. The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.
