I started using VHP's pest control services a little over six months ago. I wanted to make sure…read morethat the initial results weren't a fluke and the pests were really gone. My previous servicer performed well initially, but six years of quarterly services later, they could never get a good handle on the pest problem. (See my review of my old Servicer and how I think they contributed to the problem.) VHP's pricing was very reasonable and after speaking with the owner, I was hopeful. Well they identified the problem area after the first visit!! For years, I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong because I was consistent with my pest services and obsessive about cleaning. Did you know that bugs can enter through your attic?! I didn't, but thank goodness that VHP did. After the follow up visit, I no longer had to worry about I'd see when I turned on the lights in the middle of the night. Those of you reading this, and have pest issues, understand the overwhelming sense of peace that comes with no longer worrying about randomly seeing a bug scurrying across the wall or floor. The five stars should tell you that this service works! After a snake found its way into my home, I also used VP to clean my gutters and identify areas that needed blocking to prevent additional 'guests' from entering my home. Now, the open areas around pipes and the gutters are closed and (hopefully) no entry points remain. This is a long post to say USE THIS PROVIDER!!! I have made sure that VHP was added to my HOA vendor list so my neighbors can have the same sense of peace that I do.

I had done a different pest control when I moved here and noticed no difference so I had lost hope that anything would actually work. Well I made calls Friday late afternoon desperate for someone to come out and spray before the party Saturday morning. Brian had missed my call and I explained my situation and he asked if he could contact another customer to push their appointment an hour and see me first and he would call me back. They thankfully agreed and he came right out. Thank goodness he did because we didn't see a single mosquito the whole party and loved being outside for the party. Additionally I had him spray for all other obnoxious pests and the roaches are all already dying so quickly it's crazy. I have found them dying in so many places and the ants are no longer forcing their way into my house or taking residence all over my entry to my house. It is like magic. When I discovered that it was still present, I called Dan back. He came to my home the next day, went up into the attic, climbed on my roof, noticed a leak (totally unrelated to my phantom visitor) and applied sealant. He was thorough, so friendly and I felt safe (which is important!). He went above and beyond to find the source of the critter, and again, while doing so advised me of other situations at my home (i.e., the leak). When I asked him what I owed him, he said nothing...because he wasn't able to find the squirrel/bird/? That is excellent customer service. If I were to review myself, however, I would get not even one star. Dan and I talked about other things he does and we thought he would be a good fit re: doing some side work as he is a craftsman as well. I reached out several times and never received a response. I thought it was really odd because we talked about other plans for my house...I was really excited! I finally realized that I forgot to send him $$$ for the time he spent and effort he went to find the source of the activity in my home and for climbing around on top of my roof and applying sealant to when the leak was. I unfortunately have a termite warranty with stinger (came from the previous owners) also. They told me they voided my termite contract due to not paying for the service that wasn't completed and said they sent the invoice to collections. This came via email. I called, they agreed to send someone else out to complete the job. He just left after telling me that all the items on our list were our fault including, get this , that the pantry moths are the fault of our grocery store and we should buy our food from another store.
