After having tried the over the counter remedies with some hot and miss success, I decided to reach out to a professional to see if there was anything I could be doing better. Rozhe was informative. He took the time to listen to my concerns, the steps i had taken, and answer my questions. He recommended a quick drying eco friendly spray of the outer perimeter to prevent them from entering the home, and bait stations of the ones that are already inside. We have a dog, so we were concerned about any kind of spraying. Rozhe assured us that once dry (20-40 minutes), the spray poses no contact threat to humans or animals which made us feel a lot better. He was done treating the permitter in a little under 15 minutes, and told us to call him if the ants were still a problem, but was pretty sure that this would take care of it. Lastly we had a brief discussion about scorpions since we heard in the news that they seem to be more prevalent than years prior. He did say this is a spray that you can use if there is a real concern, but advised us to not leave out shoes outside, and give them a check before putting them on if we do.
