Called and needed pest help, but the young man 'Matt' who came to service our home went above and beyond. We back up to a creek and are seeing more activity in wasps, snakes, and pests that crawl, than we would like. Matt listened and took action. My appt was just today and it's unknown if the pests will return, but it's nice to know I can call Bugco to support our needs in coming back out to find a solution. Lastly, it's helpful to know that Bugco came out ~2 days after scheduling the appt, so quick turnaround to help resolve my concerns. I am so grateful to Cody from Bugco! He literally saved us from having to move out of this house early. Yes, I know we live in TX and outside roaches are a thing, but I cannot handle them in my house every single night. Cody totally made it liveable again! We were overdue on pest control for our home. Reese and Kyle (technicians) from BUGCO arrived at our home on time on Saturday morning. They gave my husband and I a detailed explanation of the process, the items they were going to be using (we have four dogs so we were concerned), and what they thought would be best for our home (after we explained the critters we were seeing). We asked them to start inside the house and then move outside and they had no problem accommodating our family needs because of the doggies. Reese and Kyle even gave us some tips around our home to help keep the bugs out and told us that if we were still having a problem in two weeks to call them and they will come back out! I had heard some sounds in my attic this past week and I could have sworn I thought a four legged creature was in my attic. Ivan on the phone was the best sales rep. He was so patient with my non-ending questions. He was able to schedule something for me the next day. The service tech came out and did look up in the attic. We didn't find any droppings or any urine. It would appear that maybe a squirrel came in sometimes and left. But he did lay out two traps and I don't remember hearing any animal getting killed upstairs just yet. Over all it cost me 65 dollars for the inspection and a bit more for the two traps. He also gave me some tips on where to seal certain potential areas where critters could come in. read more

Do not go to Terminix or Orkin because they will not go the extra mile if/when you need it. Plus the solution they use is so diluted it won't last long. Quick update (thanks to Carlos V. for the reminder!): The treatment REALLY helped but did not totally eliminate the fleas in the yard. I carefully check my dog when she comes inside (she's small with short white hair so fleas are pretty easy to spot) and sometimes find 1 or 2. But this is a big improvement :-) The Bugco tech recommended a natural product that we can DIY between treatments so we will probably give that a try. We are also looking into trimming some trees so the shaded parts get more sun, mowing the grass shorter, using nematode worms in the soil, and lining the fence with cedar chips. I signed up for quarterly service from Bugco and hopefully some combination of all of these things will get our yard 100% flea free. If anyone has a method that has worked please let me know! read more
