We had what looked like wasps in the house so I quickly called BUGCO with expectations of just someone coming out and taking care of the problem and that's it. I just wanted them Gone!! Well when Rachael showed up she not only took care of the wasp problem but also explained their quarterly pest control program and I of course signed up because it all made sense! Great great service! I am expecting mom and found those sneaky small roaches in my kitchen. My husband left for business trip so I freaked out and called them immediately, although the wait was long it was totally worth it! The guy's name was Tito and after his visit I would find dead roaches almost everyday. I didn't imagine we will have so many. Beginning with scheduling the appointment, I knew I was going to like this company. They were nice and patient. I even called to reschedule because I would be getting home later than the scheduled appointment time. They worked with me without me asking them to! Jeff's personality was energetic. He listened, provided education and suggestions for keeping bugs away. He told me what he was going to do before he did it. I was getting a general treatment for my home. I never knew that a home closing would be as stressful as it was. My lender requested a termite report and I am thinking that calling a business to get a report vs using their specialized service is almost impossible. These guys are just terrific! We started with them August, 2014 with a terrible cockroach infestation. I had called several places and decided on Bugco Houston because it seemed that their customers were more than just a number. I was looking for someone who would take a personal interest in our situation until the infestation was under control. Indeed, they stayed with us step by step to get a handle on the situation. They did not just spray, go away and come back in 4 weeks. When we hit a plateau, instead of just spraying more often and with stronger chemicals, they helped us to determine that the water from the small roof leak was just enough to keep the population going. Once we fixed the roof, the treatments went way down. They are not pushy. They only come out when we call. They are top notch!! Highly recommended!! read more

For a few weeks I had been hearing noises in my wall. I was freaking out, thought it was mice or rats, so I called bugco and left a message over the weekend. They returned my call first thing Monday morning and scheduled a technician to come out. I got the best technician CJ! He was on time and took time to answer every question I had as well as educate me on a few things. One thing I respect is honesty and integrity. After his inspection he let me know it was not mice but actually birds. I would CERTAINLY use them for my future pest control needs. read more

When we first moved into our home we had an issue w ants but since working w Bugco, we have not had issues and have been happy w the preventive maintenance visits every quarter. Only once have we had a scheduling mixup and they worked w me immediately to rectify the situation. The technicians are always very knowledgeable and professional. On our recent service visit, Brooke was our technician and he arrived right on schedule and not only did he thoroughly walk me through his process of where he was spraying, he also gave us some helpful landscape tips for preventive measures, which we definitely appreciated. I had a serious wasp problem. I'm talking 100 wasps. We needed professional help so we found BUGCO on Yelp with great reviews. We called and had an appointment within just a few minutes. Two days later we met with a gentleman who was professional and friendly. He walked around our property, showing us and explaining everything that may need to be done- or didn't need to be done. 30 minutes later we had a detailed quote. We had an issue with primarily ants d/t new construction and disturbing of the land. They were coming in from the foundation. I called and spoke to Sam who was very patient and thorough. We thought we would just use the ports built into the side of the home but he warned the treatment only gets to a limited part of the home that way. He scheduled within 2 days which was a relief given the ants were everywhere - under clothing, corners of closets, etc w/o anything in particular attracting them. We knew we wanted regular treatment so Sam got us set up with quarterly treatment. Chelsea is our tech who came out to help out to the house. She was very thorough and treated what I needed but also suggested rodent traps. With the cleared land, there has definitely been disturbed wildlife and field mouse sightings so that was accurate. She placed those traps on the spot - which they manage. I also got yard treatment for mosquitoes - she did a serious fogger treatment. That helped for a few days but of course the mosquitoes have come back secondary to the rain naturally, but not as bad. She also treated the lawn for a variety of insects. I was worried about my flower beds, but nothing was affected as she assured. All of the services seem to have helped greatly. We were advised we could have intermittent and additional treatments at no cost if bugs were sighted. It has been worth every penny. read more

Definitely easy and smooth communication. Hope all services are this efficient and informative. Rachel was our tech and she was friendly and knowledgeable. After introductions, she wanted to understand the type of pests that were on and in our property. Then she went to work. She discovered wasp nests and spider webs in places that we hadn't seen. Chris made moving into my older home so much easier than it could have been. First, he did the WID inspection. He charged less than competitors, but gave a very thorough and timely report. Before I moved in, I went to paint and in a few brief hours encountered a good 20 spiders, few roaches, and handful of other bugs (silverfish, pill bugs, etc.). I honestly didn't believe Chris when he said I wouldn't see any bugs after he came. Sure enough, he came out to spray the house and yard and I haven't seen a bug since. I typically don't use pest control because I let creatures live. But, this week, our house became infested with roaches - first time ever. I was disgusted and confused as we keep the house clean and do not leave out food. I was referred to BUGCO and the technician, Justin, came to our house. He was professional and knowledgeable. He explained the possible reasons/entries points and why the roaches decided to make our house theirs. Incredibly, within 24 hours, I am finding the dead little creatures. First off, I would like to say Daniel is the best ever. He is extremely knowledgeable, very professional and friendly! He would take his time to explain to us the products used, why and when. He was just so easy going! However, the reason I am giving Bugco a lower rating was the customer service on the phone and the cost! The person that has answered my phone call the past few times has absolutely no knowledge of any of the services or products or anything. I am put on hold multiple times during the phone call for her to come back with the wrong answer. I spend more time being on hold then speaking with someone. What made me make a decision to leave Bugco was their customer service on the phone and the cost of the rodent service. When I tried to schedule the initial appointment, I asked a few questions about the process because we needed the information for our landlord. She knew nothing! I finally had to ask for a technician to call me (which he did and answered all questions). Their contract was also misleading and it seemed like the quoted price included traps and follow-ups (yes, I realize that its my fault because I did sign the contract). I asked to speak to someone who handles the contracts so I can have a better understanding of what is charged and what is additional. I was just told to talk to the technician. I asked to speak to someone higher up and she didn't transfer me - she just said follow ups are extra. I did sign the contract - so fine. They came on a Monday to place traps (and had to use my peanut butter to hopefully attract the rodents). They came back out on Friday, asked for more peanut butter and my garbage bag to put in the rodents they hopefully caught. However, he went up to the attic for 2 minutes and came back down - didn't catch anything. I was charged $75 for a 5 minute visit! They came back out at my request again yesterday and Daniel was awesome! Once again, answered all my questions, explained the contract with more detail, walked around to check the traps and he brought his own "food" for the rodents. Luckily, no rodents but another $75. It just too expensive plus the horrible customer service on the phone. read more
