Never accommodate nor communicate & i stay without working from NOv 11 to Dec 1st... decided to go in person to the company to receive a vehicle that wasn't even registered as a fhv tlc & having me since dec 1 to dec 3rd 2025 running around & calling. BEWARE! Go rent a car from Buggy. Provide them your bank info to get charged. Return the car you rented, wait for your deposit to be returned after a month or so.. Well, you think it's all done, right? But it's not. After 10 months, you might receive a text message from Buggy thanking for the payment you have just made! Maybe it's a mistake? Call Buggy and get the info: No, it isn't a mistake, it's the unpaid toll payment which was billed by ez pass 7 months after it was originally issued. And yet Buggy waited another 5 months to charge you. Once you are unfortunate enough to start doing business with Buggy, you become their asset. They got your payment info on their file. When you ask them to remove your bank information from their system, they tell you that they can't do it, but you have the chance to do it through the Buggy app. I just wasted my time, tried to do it over the app, it's impossible of course! App says that your bank info is the only one so you cannot remove it. Basically, if you don't want to get extorted by Buggy through a certain bank account you provided to them, you should just give them another bank account information so they can easily keep extorting from you. No need for any information before charging you, no need to send any bills, any receipts, any requests for permission. Anytime they want, even after 10 months the business you're involved closed and finished, they just tap into your money well, get whatever they want and walk away. You should be ready for any time, even after years, to get charged by Buggy. There are many other things way worse than above experience about Buggy. I will come back and tell you the story of my deductible payment to Buggy after an accident which was 100% on the other involving parties fault. This is an even funnier story, so stay tuned! The only person that will give this business 4 stars would probably be the Buggy's mother. You will surely see how unprofessional the staff is as soon as you walk in. Make sure you ask questions and read your contract because there are hidden fees. Make sure the car you're renting is clean and record the walk around of the car before check out. You can't bring the car back early and you can't bring it back late without a charge. Find out what they plan to charge you when you return the car. Do Not Rent the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. I did because i tried to save gas but it had issues Buggy didn't care to fix. Only because this was the only hybrid they had, I decided to rent even will all the damages listed on the car. Buggy cars has an f rating with the BBB and is not accredited. I wanted to state this first before I move into my situation. I rented a car and was hospitalized for two weeks. Upon my discharge from the hospital, buggy was the first call that I made as I needed to pick up the vehicle and drive to restore my income. I made a payment arrangement with them on December 13th, at which time I also paid them 600 dollars. Mid week my Uber driver account was deactivated and I was told that I needed to update my documents and I was unable to drive for 4 days, which meant that I wasn't able to make the money for my next payment because they did not update my document and did not allow more time to make the money once the situation was sorted out. I made a partial payment of 180 on dec. 17th and on dec. 19th buggy filed charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle although they turned the car off so I couldn't return it and they had the address of where the vehicle was to pick it up. When I reached out to them regarding the charges the acted as if they had no knowledge of this. Leaving me to turn myself in to the police department and sort this out on my own although the vehicle had been returned and the payment arrangement had already been made. I would not recommend renting from this company as this is one a many issues including, billing customers who no longer have rentals with them, although the vehicle has been returned. read more

This by far was the worst car rental experience ever. i rented from them a year ago, had the car a few months and eventually gave there car back. They will call and harass you if you're just 10 or 20$ short. Only 2 days or 3 days late. They will add unnecessary charges making you trap in late and fees they make up along the way. My advice if you don't have to, don't rent from these people. These people are nothin more than a money grab. They will turn your car off any chance they get. They cut the car off on me in south Florida in the blazing heat because I was a couple dollars behind on my weeky payment. If you notice, all the reviews for Buggy are 1 star. I signed up with them in January and had a horrible experience similar to the reviews that are already submitting. They ended up crediting me money and giving me a reasonable rental rate if I would remove the review. I chose to do so. Now, I have had to return the car because they essentially attempted to exhort me by increasing my rental rate or they would pick up vehicle. I have since started talking to an attorney, Leticia James NY States Attorney office, and IDG. I intend to take legal action against Buggy. This is the worst tlc car rental company in new york . Stay away of buggy . I had very very bad experience renting car from buggy . Those guys are scammers . Thier cars is in horrible condition. Stuff is rude . If u gave them ur credit card info . They can charge u any amount of money without ur permission. Scam company I was renting a car from this company in March. It takes forever to get my security deposit of $400. I tried calling them so many times over the past five months. And I even stop by their office in person. They tried to play dumb with me. The first time I called on of they are agents told me I need to give them my bank information because they cannot refund back to the original payment. And I waited for it for a month but nothing refunded it back. The second month I called again they stated they sent the money back but my bank had not processed this payment I asked for the reference number of the transaction they can not provide it. and I called my bank to figure out the reason why for not processing this payment. The bank stated they checked all my posts and pending transaction there was nothing coming from this company. And I stop by the office again. The office employee just keeps playing forth and back. The staff is rude and evidently have had no training whatsoever when it comes to customer service. They have a horrible selection of vehicles to choose from and if you have any issues regarding the vehicle they make it very difficult or charge extra fees to change to a different one. One of the worst when it comes to customer service and overall experience. When I rented a car would constantly get harassed about paying the rent multiple days before it was due. Now that I have returned the car, I waited one month as instructed before calling back and requiring my deposit back. However they don't even pick up my call after looking at my number because when I called from a different number they answered right away. Asked for my deposit back been a week still nothing. I know I have only myself to blame for doing business with this company again, but in my defense they were close so it was convenient. first of all I picked up a car on Friday, after going through three cars they finally found one that was ready to rent...or so I thought. I drove off with a 2018 Camry, and then on Saturday when it was light out I realized just how much danger this company put my life and the lives of the passenger in, the tires were bald and very dangerous. after calling in to let them know I was directed to a shop on Troy Ave only to be told that they had no tires I then had to drive to another shop on empire where the mechanic agreed all 4 tires needed to be changed. I felt that I needed at least a credit for the time I had to spend out of my day to do basic maintenance on a car that I picked up two days ago. the folks in the office tried to brush it off as it was no big deal and I should just go to the shop to change the tires and no cost to me. Ok that seem easy enough, but why do I have to spend my time fixing a car that i only had for 2DAYS. The level of condescension from them was very disturbing not to mention how nonchalant they were about putting my life at risk by giving me a car with very bald tires. This Company has proven that their profits are more important than the lives of their customers, I assume that's easy since most of their customer are Black immigrant drivers because our lives don't matter. The service of the buggy car rental is very poor and they always charge a lot of money from their customer and toll as much as the pay here on the toll. Attentively, these people also make a messy scam in toll. They have collected toll of $ 400 per V weak from me, then I thief should ask for the receipt of my toll along with the original proof from where the drummer wants to receive from them, because there is a lot of mess in the toll and secondly if you don't care about them. If you ever go to the office, then all the people in the office sit in the office in and there are 2 people who work on 445, the person who works in the parking lot. That is too much rude and whenever you go for service, wherever you go for tyres, wherever you go, those people are very rude and I have taken action against them many times. But he did not take any action. It is a request from its seniour that give it to them or else your business which is there will be a lot in the coming year. I had 5 cars. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THESE LYING THIEVING SCUM BAGS! These people love to steal your money and they have horrible customer service! It's damn near impossible to get someone on the phone that's willing to help you with your concerns! They over charge my card every single day. I started noticing that I was depositing $200 into my account every day and every day my account was going negative because these thieves kept stealing money from my account! I called them to let them know what's happening and they said that all the charges are accurate! I tried to return the car to them and they only accept the car back on Monday or Tuesday by 10 am, which I have never in my life heard some shit like that from a rental company! They're closed on the weekends so if you're schedule doesn't allow you to be by their office by 10am you will be stuck with the vehicle and of course they will charge you for another week. I had to leave the car parked for over a week because I didn't need it. I couldn't start the car because they shut the vehicle down remotely. I swear this is was straight out of a nightmare! I ended up returning the car on a Sunday about three weeks after I tried to return it and I returned it at a time that they're closed. So basically, they could've had me return the vehicle when I first wanted to but they're swindlers and thieves! There is no customer service what so ever! The billing department are of no help to you and they send me a detailed bill in which they had charged me 3-5 times each time I passed a toll. Not to mention that they had false charges over and over again! It has been over a month that I returned they're bullshit vehicle that had horrible brakes I almost killed myself several times! Basically I press the brakes early and I still had issues with stopping! This is the worst place that I have rented a car from and I have rented from many companies in the past. I have never had such a horrible experience with a car rental company! They charged my car so much money that I'm negative $800 right now after I disputed the charges with my bank because all I kept getting from buggy's billing department's manager was that the charges are accurate!
