The service is outstanding and Nathaniel and Jennifer are great to work with. I had $500 credit in work i previously had done there that I forgot about from a year and a half ago, and they told me as soon as I walked in. They've earned a customer for life in me and I'd recommend them to any of my family and friends. They are some of the most genuine, honest, and hard working people I've ever done business with. I needed a repaint on the hood of my 2003 Mach 1 and, after a bit of research, decided to include Bugs Collision & Restoration on my list of places to go for an estimate. Within minutes of my arrival late in the afternoon, Kevin was out in the parking lot with me, examining the car and narrating everything he saw and considered. What struck me immediately was that Kevin was a true professional and knew exactly what he was doing. There was no question as to what was involved in the job and his estimate of cost and time was quick and fair. We agreed on a handshake and he had me immediately pull into the open bay so the hood could be removed by two careful, competent shop employees. Kevin estimated three days to complete the work - complete stepping of the hood, prep, paint, clear coat, cut, rub, and wax - and he was right on the money. When I arrived back at the shop, Kevin met me in the parking lot and told me to pull the car inside. Again, the two guys who put a final coat of wax on the hood and reinstalled it exercised the utmost care and concern - as if it was their own car. The quality of workmanship is fantastic; the black paint on the hood is a perfect match to the rest of the car. Everyone at the shop exuded great confidence, care, and concern and the outcome of their work was never in doubt. Most of all, they had my humor. All in all, it was a great experience and I will definitely return for any and all future body and/or paint work. Pros: Clean, orderly, efficient shop with excellent employees who do outstanding work. Cons: Absolutely none. Overall: Take the time to get an estimate for body and/or paint work at Bugs Collision. The klutz that I am knocked off the passenger side mirror on my car and I just didn't know where I should get it fixed. After a few calls around town (including the dealer) I decided on Bugs Collision and Repair due to Jenifer's great customer service and efficiency over the phone. After she ordered the new mirror Nathaniel got it replaced and taken care of for me in record time. The main reason I am so pleased with this company is their politeness and the fact that they did not pressure me or suggest any other obviously needed body work. They knew what I wanted done and handled it. For that I will return for further body work needed. I can also say that the price was fair and much cheaper than the dealer. I had my Mercedes repainted at Bugs, and am very pleased. I found the staff to be very friendly and anxious to ensure my satisfaction. When my son saw the results, he has his truck repaired and painted at Bugs, also very pleased. Now my whole family calls Bugs, their body shop. All you need to do is look at the cars and trucks in front of the shop to see they do quality work. They frequently have very nice restoration projects going on. You do not trust your project car to anyone, these things are hard to find and very expensive to replace. Bugs did a great job repairing my car. I had a minor run in with my garage and my brand new car so brought it in to Bugs for a quote. As soon as I walked in they were super nice. Treated me like a real person and took the time to explain to me what needed to be done. When I got the car back it looked great and back to looking new. When i first got it, it came out looking pretty good. At first, the paint looked good and body work was decent. Upon further inspection of my car, I found a couple of things broken that were not actually broken when I took my car in there. I detailed my car a week after I got it, I found that my headlight tabs were broken, the trunk was not done the way I brought it in there. Everything was still taken apart. My front bumper started to have gaps from the fender. Just didn't like how it turned out after I closely inspected it. read more

This used to be a Miracle Auto Painting franchise. The name has changed but the quality has not improved. They do as little work as possible and will paint right over flaws. I had my hood repainted here and complained about some sagging and bumps in the finish and all I got was excuses such as " If we fix the hood it will make the rest of your old car look bad'. If pictures are worth a thousand words, then they would be worth that ... and more! Outstandingly reasonable pricing system (you really get what you pay for...and then that extra that goes with working with them), a workable time frame, and they will be your best logistic advisers. Originally, they were recommended to me by a coworker that had his show-winning El Camino done by them back in the 90's when it was still Miracle Auto. So I had my BMWs & Mercedes-Benzes done with them and they turned out better than when I bought them new. I work at a place that doesn't take too kindly to nice cars and after 10+ years of Central Valley commuting and weather, it was time to do some bodywork. They bumped out all the dings and dents, removed everything to take the paint all the way down, and built up everything on a base coat / clear coat system. As a former body man, I would highly recommend them. Go ahead and get your quotes and do your research. When you are ready to make a decision, I am sure you will choose Bugs. I went to Stockton looking to buy a salvage title car which had structure damages before. It's fixed but I still want to get it checked out. I went on Yelp to find a body shop who could help me and base on the reviews, I found Bugs Collision. I called the day before and Nathaniel at Bugs Collision said to just bring the car in and he will take a look for me. When I bought the car in, Nathaniel was very friendly and started to check out the car for me. He was very detailed and comprehensive in examining the car. He told me while the damages were repaired, they weren't done correctly. He was very patient with my questions as well and provided thoughtful answers. He was very knowledgeable.
