Have been here the last two years in a row in November for our son's birthday! We have turned the birthday bear into a tradition until he doesn't want it anymore lol but the staff is very nice & we thank them very much for the experience at this location

The empty birth certificate from last month when I received Tuxedosam in the mail. (:

Updated review: Came to Build-A-Bear on the evening of Thursday, October 17 before closing to get Chococat since their instagram reel brought me here. Upon entering, the employees greeted me and they were all so accomodating. They also wanted to be sure about anything else my furry friend needs. Very friendly staff compared to my past visit, and in this location I re-visited, they were all surprised that I'm a Hello Kitty/Sanrio fan and that I've been collecting a lot of Sanrio related furry friends for so long. I was lucky that they have the last Chococat plush in-stock because the other orders I witnessed I'm assuming are from those who ordered online. I'm lucky that I was the last customer to finish my furry friend on time, before closing. He's super cute and he's a part of my collection now! Thank you, Build-A-Bear Brea for making my re-visit a better experience!

Oh my goodness, I am amazed by the interactive experience they have here at Build-A-Bear, I would give 10 stars if I could! I just came for the first time and it was so fun! This store is truly for all ages, from 3 to 100. First you start out by picking the animal to stuff- they have so many options! Then a staff member fills the animal while you yourself pump the stuffing. Next, you can put an audio message in it's paw and a beating heart. After that, you go name the animal and they have many options for accessories. You get this whole experience for a great price! If you have never gone to Build-A-Bear, you need to go- no matter your age!

Toxic Service & Complete Management Failure - AVOID THIS LOCATION…read more The Zara at Brea Mall is an absolute embarrassment to the brand. If you value being treated with basic human Decency, do not shop here. I walked out feeling disrespected and humiliated by a staff that is clearly untrained and hostile. The experience at the returns counter was a disaster from start to finish: The "Frontline" Issue: The associate (thin with black hair) was flat-out insulting. She rolled her eyes, talked down to me, and acted like following the store's own return policy was a personal burden to her. It wasn't just "attitude"--it was blatant unprofessionalism. The Incompetence: A second associate with curly hair actually found me an exchange item in a larger size, only to suddenly "change her story" and claim it wasn't policy. Don't offer solutions you don't understand; it's misleading and incompetent. The "Leadership": When the manager was called over, things actually got worse. Instead of de-escalating, the manager was arrogant, dismissive, and provided zero help. When the leadership is this rude, it explains why the staff feels comfortable mistreating paying customers. This isn't just one "bad day"--it's a systemic failure in training and accountability. Zara corporate needs to take a hard look at the Brea location because the current staff is driving loyal customers away for good. I will never spend another dime here.

She lent her expertise in picking a weather-appropriate outfit for my husband and gave us ideas for our outfits-she really went above and beyond. We did end up buying some pants and a shirt from here and they were a very light linen material...a bit see-through, but for a desert wedding, they should be perfect. The price was a bit more expensive than I would have hoped for, but Men's clothing always seems to be more expensive than women's. Overall, Morai made our experience great and we'll continue to keep shopping here from time to time!

I like this…read morelocation because it's generally very clean and organized, and the staff are all nice and welcoming, but not in an annoying way if you know what I mean lol. I prefer to be left alone while shopping and for the most part that's what they do here, with occasional check ins. Today I found some good deals for boys clothes, which is what I came in for. $5 shirts for boys, can't beat that. Old navy clothes usually tends to last longer than other brands for us. For such a large chain retail store I would imagine they would be able to afford good quality air conditioning not only for the customers but for their employees as well. It was cooler outside than it was inside. I really hope this is being looked into given that we are expecting this summer to be extremely HOT!!! I'd hate to take my business elsewhere given this store is very close and the employees here are great!

I don't know who is running this store, but the environment is definitely a negative one. All the ladies here had such an attitude, they ask if you need help but when you do ask them anything they act like your bothering them. For a children's store!? Definitely disappointed. I spent well over $200 for my daughters that day. It would be nice if these ladies where at least hospitable. Management needs to check these disrespectful ladies that work here at the La Habra location. Maybe management also needs to be looked at because this environment is horrible. At the return counter, a lady checked the number of socks and said there were only nine pairs, so I couldn't return them. I was shocked. I had never opened them, so how could one be missing? She didn't ask if I had received only nine pairs or offer any suggestions. Instead, she counted the socks several times and looked at me and told me there were only nine pairs and that I couldn't make a return. At that moment, with my child beside me, I felt like a thief. It was a terrible feeling. I tried to remain smile and friendly because I was with my child. I just want to ask, if I truly received only nine pairs, can I return them? I don't have a factory, I can't make one more pair for your company. Thank God, she later found the missing pair nearby. It was her carelessness that caused the issue. I never doubt the items I received and never checked the number. Also, I always maintain my honesty when I want to make a return. I appreciate that later, while I was shopping, she provided me with a shopping basket, assisted me at checkout. However, regarding what happened earlier, I still feel awful.
