went in tonight to get my sons ears pierced Marley and Julie were so great! They had a huge rush when we got there and still were so sweet not just to me but everyone I heard them interact with. When it came down to the actual piercings Marley was very clean and made sure she sanitized in between customers (as a nurse I really appreciated that). They offered to do my 8 year olds sons ears at the same time because he was nervous about doing them one at a time. They are both so sweet polite and made my son so comfortable! Very upset went to exchange size of ring had the bag misplaced receipt but I explained i was in here yesterday just bought wrong size and the manager said no exchange without receipt I said maybe you should say that when people are purchasing but not very very nice about it found the receipt and the ring we bought today is missing a stone so we will be going back for both. read more

Ooh my gosh. This review is way fucken overdue! Brandon is such a sweetheart and very hospitable! Let me tell you, actually from the moment I walked in last year October... He did my very first Helix piercing and made me feel so comfortable & confident. He's truly a Gem. He's very attentive, great customer service all around! Jasmine is also a doll, she's made me feel comfy during my most recent (newest) piercings. DO NOT SHOP HERE. But if you must, make sure to ask the staff questions about their discounts/sales first. I came here last weekend with family, and boy was it an awful expedience. To shorten a long story, what happened was we made a purchase without asking about the specifics of their sale that day. My niece purchased the item after we were told that the 60 % discount didn't apply, even though the item was in the 60 % off section. We left, but about 45 minutes later, my niece wanted to return the item. I went with her back to Lovisa to see if we could get a refund. We were denied and told of other specifics that were not initially disclosed. Below are those specifics: -There are no returns on earrings. Totally makes sense, but this is not disclosed anywhere in the store. -The have signs all over the store advertising a sale, but not all items are a part of that sale. Per the gal who worked there, the discounts/sales only apply to items with a red sticker. Also not disclosed anywhere. Many of the items did not have a red sticker on them. -Again, this store lures you in with their red signs advertising a whole store sale, but they do not disclose any details of their sale/policies unless you ask. Not a place deserving of anyone's business. The biggest problem with this store is that you won't get a receipt once you walk out. At this store, they have you type your email on a keyboard to send your receipt. Pretty standard, but when I left the store and returned, I still had not gotten my receipt in my email. I called the girl out about this, she told me that it takes an hour for the receipt to be sent. WHAT???? So, no proof of purchase after the point of sale? What kind of place is this??? I was upset at their deceitful policies, and the unprofessionalism of the girl who worked there, so I asked for customer service and she gave me a number in New York. Don't bother calling it, as its a joke and they will never pick up the phone. As I called customer service in the store, the girl sent two loser mall renta-cops to the store for me. Completely unnecessary as I was not a safety threat. They asked me to leave the store and I complied. Shortly after I left the store, one of the guys left and the other was not even paying any attention to me. Before I left the store, the girl handed me a paper receipt. They should just doing this to start out with. The moral of the story is DON'T SHOP AT LOVISA. GO TO CLAIRE'S. read more

If you're trying to decide to go here or to Claire's downstairs, it's not even a question. Claire's is dark, crowded and the sales person was beyond rude. Lovisa's, by comparison, is light, bright, open, and the sales person was so friendly, professional and she did a great job piercing my ear, explaining after care etc. Lovisa's is also cheaper for the ear peircing and the earrings. I would not recommend going here, go to ICING downstairs for your ear piercing needs! Was here for less than 5 minutes and couldn't have felt less welcomed! Walked in and asked if we can get the ear piercing service done and the 3 girls just turned around, didn't acknowledge us. We waited. The person that was going to do the piercing service was very impatient and rushing. She seemed bothered the entire time I was asking questions, it was a very uncomfortable situation. I was asking about the piercing options and what would look best and her responses were just vague, "it's your choice" "it's what you want". Once I decided to choose, she told me to fill out the consent form & just walked away immediately. I already knew she was gonna F up the piercings, seemed very inexperienced and entitled. I just walked out and went straight to ICING. Was immediately greeted and questioned about my needs. She was very informative, experienced, and patient. Her name was Monica. I went to Lovisa in the brea Mall this weekend. and every time I'm there, the manager Brandon is so sweet and helpful, always asking if I'm finding what I need. Well, this weekend, I took advantage of the clearance and purchased a cartilage earring. Those are particular a little difficult for me to put on by myself, especially when the backing is a flat backing. Well, I was asking questions about the metal of the earing I purchased, and he gave me the info I needed to know.. he also offered to help me put it on, in which I was so grateful he did. It seemed to be a little difficult to put the earring on, but he finally got the earring to fit perfectly. It looked beautiful! He was very gentle in placing the earing on my ear. I went in this past Sunday looking for new hoop earrings. I witnessed and overheard a worker, Victoria, being so rude to a young woman who was by the ear piercing station. She switched her tone to a very aggressive tone once she started speaking to the young lady. I would have been so upset and possibly asked for the manager if she spoke to me that way. I work retail and have done food service in the past, the employee's attitude is 100% worthy of being fired. Cute store and i'm happy with the piercing results, but the customer service was not great. my experience was not good. my boyfriend and I walked in to get matching piercings and the employee, Victoria, helping us was beyond accommodating to my boyfriend, but extremely mean and impatient to me right off the bat. Victoria pierced my boyfriends ear, but I was so shocked by her attitude towards me that I decided to not get my ear pierced anymore. I felt horrible as I left, but after thinking it over I went back and got my piercing by Victoria. I like Brea Mall in general, and I went to this store to get some earrings because I love my earrings, I was with my friend at the time, we went into the store. As it was almost closing time, they were about to closer the doors or fence what ever its called and as we approach, theres a female worker I dont know her name, she closes the gate as soon as we approach the store, and she says "sorry were closed" mind you that there is like 15 mins until closing, then the manager I would assume says "go ahead and let them in". So me and my friend go and we start shopping, the same lady worker comes over to us and says "it would be nice if you guys dont touch anything, i just cleaned and I dont want anything to be a mess" Me and my friend were literally just walking around LOOKING and not touching anything. After that I was already getting mad so then I just got my earrings that I wanted and went to go check out. Once Im at the register I decided I wanted another pair of earrings so I tell the girl to hold them, later I go back and she had already put them back somewhere and I ask "where did you put them?" and the girl says "oh i forgot". Mind you once again she had literally just put the earrings back on the shelf less than 3 mins ago. She was so snobby and rude for no reason. The customer service could be so much better read more
