I spoke with Kelly, who was working at the counter. She was so friendly, welcoming, and sweet and we chatted for a bit. She explained that they also have classes for crafts like jewelry making & candle making. It's something I'm interested in exploring further. She let me know that Angie owned the shop and there were challenges when the pandemic hit. I'm so heartbroken that so many small businesses were adversely impacted. I love supporting small businesses. Like I told Kelly small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. They have a prayer request wall. I submitted a request along with the myriad of requests already hanging. So much prayer needed in these times. I thought that is so cool & gracious on the shop owner's part. What a blessing! You can tell that children find the shop magical! They were awestruck by many of the items on display. Hearing their squeals of delight brought joy to my ears & warmth to my heart. It is a feast for the eyes. It's decorated so tastefully, it's organized, clean and bright. I couldn't help myself and made a few select purchases for gift giving. Don't take my word for it! The service was amazing- they were so sweet and I asked about how long they have been there and she said 7 years, which I was amazed by- she said that they started as a workshop place and expanded their gift shop but they do still offer classes. Caroline was nice enough to box my bag and hold it for me, while I shopped at other stores. Coach bags are always well made and priced fairly. Yes, you can always wait for deals and sometimes this store does carry discounted items, but once they're out, they are out. I really hope this store stays open.
