The ones that we have is very old and raggedy. We were there few days ago and as we walked in, the guy right by the main entrance gave us a nice smile and welcomed us in. We told them why we were there for; and, he paged someone on the intercom to come and take us to that aisle. James, with a nice smile took us to show variety of toilet seat covers and they were a tad expensive for our budget. Also, I was looking for a plain, standard, white color for both of our bathrooms. This store is a lot bigger than the other stores that I have visited in the past. They had many different kinds/types of toilet seats. As we were walking out, I wanted to visit their nursery. That's a whole different story. It's HUGE, nice, colorful and beautiful. Since I live in an apartment building and don't have a front or a back yard, I saw this cute, small, waterfall that can be used indoors as well as outdoors. It was so cute that I couldn't resist but to buy it. Was also on sale from 60 dollars, to 40 dollars. Great bargain. So skipped the toilet seats, bought the small waterfall and walked out of the store. HUGE parking lot, has few restrooms(didn't use them for once) and store was nicely organized and clean!! Now we have to put everything together for a soothing sound of the water to help me go to sleep! Thank you James, Home Depot, and management!!!!

Today I just wanted to buy a sheet of sandpaper that was marked as $1.79 and it rang up for $2.50 at the register, so I told the cashier wearing a surgical mask that's it's marked $1.79 on the aisle and she says "I'm just going by what the bar code reads". So I went back and checked, told her again that it was marked $1.79 so she marched back with me and I apologized to her that she had to walk back, but it was indeed only $1.79 ...she goes "well, you must be desperate!" and I said "Why am I desperate? For 80 cents?" :D Have to laugh I'm not that cheap or desperate, but just like to pay what the price is marked on the item out of principle. A note: Under California Business and Professions Code Section 12024.2, it is illegal for a business to charge a price greater than what is advertised, marked on a shelf tag, or posted on the commodity itself.

I easily spend several hundreds of dollars here buying my chisels and other carving hand tools. It's cool that the worker remembers who I am (excellent service).
