However, this Ace hardware is closer to my house. So for simple things, like screws, wall fasteners, anchors, spray paint, etc... This place does really really well. It's also very large, especially for an Ace hardware. They have a great selection and they have multiple sections. They also have a really large selection of like griddles, grills, and smokers. Everyone who works here is friendly. However, this is what brings this location down to a four-star review. While everyone who works here is friendly, they're not always helpful. And there's a couple of ways that they're not helpful. The first is that it's difficult to find someone who works here. They're understaffed in my opinion. The second reason they're not always helpful, is that they don't always have great knowledge in the questions that I've been asking. I'm a fairly handy person, but I'm not a contractor, and I definitely don't work in a hardware store. But I've been very surprised at the number of times that I've actually found somebody to help me, and then they weren't able to help me. Either because they didn't know, or they were unsure of what I was asking about, or they just weren't able to help me to find what I was looking for. But overall this is a great local option If you don't want to drive further to a Home Depot or a Lowe's. And don't go to Lowe's.

Maybe not as much selection and maybe a little pricier, but it's always super convenient to pop by if you are in need of something for that project you are working on. I love to come here for spray paint usually and plants! Though I do like to "ooh and ahh" over their patio furniture. I love how they display everything to really give you inspo for how you can do up your back yard. They also have fire pits and camping chairs, lots of pots, umbrellas, and even dog toys! It's a super dog friendly store actually. Staff is always helpful here. Parking is always easy peasy. Support your local Ace!

The man on the phone told me he did, so I got there in time to buy it. When I got there, he opened the package further (as it was already opened) to compare the two- and he said it would work. It didn't. I went back to the store and told the owner that the one he sold me was incorrect. When I asked for a refund, he stated that "there was a part missing from the top." It was not missing anything. The model he sold me was slightly smaller in length and was the incorrect part number according to Lowe's (which did sell me the correct part). I told him it wasn't missing any parts, but he called me a liar. He saw the item was new and unused, proving him wrong. When that didn't work, he said he won't refund it because the package was opened. It was... by him. I watched him open it. He called me a liar again. I went to my bank and disputed the charges- and was told I'd be issued a refund, and Granada Hills Hardware will have the charges reversed. Nobody likes to be called a liar. It could've been real easy, but your pride got in the way when you didn't like to be proven wrong. Now, I get to keep the cartridge, and a refund of $59.12 through my bank... and you get to keep a 1 star yelp review. Was it worth it?

I found parking easily and they already had other customers there as well. When I walked inside, the man working the cashier greeted me and I found the gloves I wanted right at the front. I still took the time to walk around the store to see what they had. I stumbled upon the car detailing area and they had some good products here. I then saw some more gloves and switch out to a smaller size of the same ones I got from the front. I had a good time here and had no issues.

Plus the little joke of, we'll see you tomorrow....LoL... This visit, I needed to pick up new socket and whatever the plug things are called as well as a new light fixture. Clearly this is not my department. The selection was great. Loads of things to choose from. Even bringing in what I already had and trying to find something similar, there was a good amount to choose from. With all different types. Light fixtures, they have a good selection but limited to what I was looking for. Something simple and small. Mange to find something but what I did like, they ran out. Service was great in the fixture department. The employee that helped us with our questions was excellent. She even gave us some suggestions and advices on what to use. Customer service like that is what brings us back to this place. Of course grabbing what we need, but let me probably say. I'll be back again, I pretty sure. Also layout is pretty explanatory. It's all marked with the banner down each isle. If there's something you need, there's plenty of staff on hand to help.

My skills are pretty basic but when I need something, this is where I go. Anything to not have to shop at Home Depot. These days is fine by me, but beyond that Franklin's is a neighborhood staple. The employees there are always very knowledgeable and easy to find when you need help. They answer your questions and if they don't know the answer they find out for you. Remember how stores used to be like that? Yes. This is what you were missing. Franklin's is old school and maybe the prices are a little higher here and they don't have as much of a selection as a big store, but I'd rather support this small local business any day of the week.

With the advent of youtube videos, and the continuing story of Franklin Hardware, you can fix darn near anything. I also noted a great selection of what will be excellent quality Xmas gifts for next year. Great kitchen knives and big selection of Weber BBQ stuff, for a couple of them. In-store service : 5 Stars…read more Delivery Service: 0 Stars ( im a health care provider I had to go home to check up on my family member due to be feeling unwell after the bad experience they received) Had a family member to receive new appliance. Delivery driver had a foul mouth , disrespecting a family member just for asking a question . For approximately 20 minutes. It is deliver driver job to install appliances if fee was paid , but instead this unprofessional man was cussing , and mad that he had "to work" and stated he was being harassed by an elderly family Member . My family member was scared and not comfortable with ruthless human ,being inside the home . (Luckily everything was recorded on security footage incase things escalated) Appliance was also delivered out of it's box (had only styrofoam on the corners)and protective film had been removed I hope Lowe's is doing background checks when hiring, professional people. This individual only spoke Spanish using profanity and broken English . Definitely not a professional human . Report has been filed to HR After this experience I would definitely not be purchasing any items that require delivery .
