The store was made aware of the problem within hours of purchase and I purchased a replacement of the defective product at that time which worked well. The manager the next day refused to give me a refund on the defective unit. When I asked her to inspect the product to verify that it was in new condition, she refused saying that she does not need to and that I broke it. The product was in new and completely unused condition. Occasionally there will be defective products and the purchaser and the merchant should handle this in an honorable manner.
