    Thick to thin ripoff, just the tip of the iceberg...

    Here's what you get now.. I bought a spool of Manilla garden twine...it looked pretty stout, enough for me to bundle branch cuttings . Upon using, I discovered that the outside layer was thick, then there was a knot, and all the remaining twine was thread-like. (see pics) I took this item back and demonstrated for the store manager how they were being ripped off by their supplier, and in turn, the consumer (me) was being ripped off. The "Manager" laughed it off. I said "Multiply this by 10,000 and then laugh"...

However, we decided to have a service technician come and check it out to see how serious it was before making a decision to replace our washer. They dispatched Josh to our home and he was great. Very respectful and professional and got to work right away. He figured out the issue which thank goodness was not major and fixed the washer. He tested it out prior to leaving and I was so grateful that he was able to take care of it on the spot and didn't have to order parts for it. Kudos to everyone at this business! You guys are great and I'm very happy you are around to service our community needs!

    Dwayne, in the Home Depot (on Hwy 69, Prescott, AZ) plumbing department, saved the day! I had a…read moredrippy shower spout and let Dwayne know what I needed. He said "that's a Delta product and Home Depot doesn't carry Delta, but..." Dwayne reached down and grabbed an item from the bottom shelf and announced that Home Depot had received this (Delta) product in error, and it wasn't worth returning to the supplier. It was exactly what I needed! He also told me the drip was due to a faulty cartridge. Who knew that showers even had cartridges? He pulled the exact cartridge that I needed, amongst a variety and showed me the difference between them. He then opened another box. He showed the complete cartridge assembly, and what I would need to do to swap it out. What started out being an intimidating repair, following Dwayne's show-and-tell, was completed correctly and quickly. I was SO grateful I dropped off a thank you card, which I hope was shared with HD management, along with a gift card for coffee. Dwayne is my "go to" guy and he really knows his stuff.

I haven't been in a Home Depot store in over a year. At check out, I tried to use my phone number for the 10% off that Veterans get. I had to get help because it wasn't taking my phone number. A heavy set employee asked me if I had gone over my $400.00 per year cap. I never even knew that there was a cap, but I stated that I haven't even been in a Home Depot store in over a year, and he told me that Veterans lie! I could have punched him in the throat. I didn't, but I will never return to any Home Depot store again! First responders, Veterans, just warning you, your service to your country and people whom you help, the Home Depot employees think that we are all liars! I'll order Ryobi from them directly. The Home Depot is a disgrace to everyone who has served, or continues to serve!

All I wanted was some names of vendors in which they do business with in ordering parts. The owner told me abruptly "this is your problem not mine, there's nothing I can do about it." The gray haired lady sitting at the front desk told me "all we have are names (no last names) of contractors." Really? So, you just give out these names knowing absolutely nothing about these people or how qualify they are to repair items! The lady then said to me" my Mondays are very busy, there's nothing we can do" and then turned her back on me. Horrible, horrible customer service, very rude & they really don't give a sh*t for their customers...and they are way overpriced too!

I called blomberg and they are going to fix it under warranty and said they would dispatch a repair company, and that someone from the repair company would call me in 24-48 hours to make an appointment. 3 days later no call from anyone so I called blomberg back, and they said we dispatched it to pruitts appliance 2 days ago, here's their number, I don't know why they haven't called you yet we are so sorry. So I call pruitts and they say oh yes we have that dispatch, we set up an appointment 8-12 Monday. Monday morning I get a call and 'oh the technician had surgery so we will need to reschedule'. Ok, so new appointment is Thursday 8-12. 11:30 on Thursday haven't seen anyone yet so I give them a call to be sure they're still coming. The girl says yes they're still coming today but the job in chino is taking longer then expected. Now, if they have a job in chino before mine, why on earth would they tell me 8-12? How could they possibly be done in chino in time to be in Prescott before 10? And it sure would've been nice to get a phone call saying they were going to be late instead of leaving me to sit around all morning wasting my time. Anyways, the guy finally shows up at 1:30, looks at the fridge for less then 5 mins and says he will order the parts he needs and call me next week to make another appointment. 3 weeks later I call them to find out what's going on, and they tell me they are having problems getting the parts, they called blomberg 3 times to order the parts and every time they told them that they would call them back with the part numbers but they never did. So I said goodbye to them and called blomberg, who said that they have no record of them ever calling in, but they will work it out. A few days latter pruitts calls me and they have the parts and schedule an appointment on Thursday, Noon-4. Thursday comes and 11a I get a call from pruitts and they reschedule me to Friday because somebody is getting a divorce and foreclosing their house and needs to be out today and other crap like that. So I say fine, Friday is fine, we agree they will come 1-2p. Friday he shows up at 11a and puts the parts in the fridge, before he leaves I notice that the control panel is sticking out and isn't flush like the one it replaced, he pushes on it a little bit and says he can't do anything about it because it's only held in by clips so that's all he can do... Anyways so after he leaves I'm looking at it and I notice that the reason it isn't flush is there is a wire pinched behind it so, I, the customer, take it out move the wire and put it back in and now it's flush like it's supposed to be.
