They frequently sanitize everything and follow a strict code so we can be more at peace during these difficult times and top of all the amenities here are top notch, the snacks they provide twice a day are healthy, the art supply they use are eco-friendly and non toxic, and they have a very good size play area for all age groups. The teachers are well qualified and experienced, and my child is having fun while learning new things daily. Ms.Manali and Ms.Kanika run a tight ship at the same time take good care of the kids from the parents point of view ,which helps me focus my work and I'm happy that my daughter is in safe place where she is eager to go to school everyday and she is cheerful every morning wakes up with a smile when we say time for school. When my daughter is in school I'm always informed what is happening with her through their app like when lunch is served, when she is taking her nap and I also get pics of her doing stuff like finger painting or making cookie or a ginger bread house. The best part is they understood my daughter and her personality which supports her emotionally, they also identify her strength and give us an evaluation report which helps us to know and perceive the our child's potential. I have 2 children at Building Kidz, one in the kinder class and another in preschool. We've been so happy with our experience. During the pandemic, when decision making about family health and safety has been so difficult to navigate, we've been incredibly comfortable with sending our children to Building Kidz. They have been very diligent about sanitation, social distancing and mask wearing (as appropriate to guidelines). They've been kept safe while continuing to learn and work on their social skills. We feel quite lucky to have already been part of the Building Kidz family prior to the pandemic. The ownership and staff persevered and found a way to help support all the families during this difficult time and we're so grateful. The teachers are wonderful, genuine, caring, very communicative, and always find a way to make learning exciting and fun for the kids. They give personal attention to all the children, which is incredibly important at this age when development can range quite a bit. It's been so wonderful watching the children really grow in every aspect in this program. I love having the app and being able to see photos throughout the day and get updates about what they are working on. The ownership has also made some very nice upgrades to the classrooms recently and created a very nice environment. The hours are fantastic, especially for full-time working parents. Both of my children attend Building Kidz. What initially attracted me to Building Kids was that I had known the director previously as she was one of my eldest daughter's pre-school teachers at a different daycare. I was secure knowing that my oldest child was well taken care of previously, so I knew that she'd be well taken care of again. She had been home with me after school for several years prior to the pandemic and I wasn't doing a good job of keeping her entertained or interested as a parent working from home pre-pandemic. She started after-school care during the pandemic and she loves it. Her homework gets done and she is encouraged to continue learning through the various activities they do every day. Around this time, my youngest was ready for daycare. As a busy wife, mother, and not so great in the culinary arts parent, I needed a place that would provide meals and snacks in addition to an education. My youngest loves to draw, sing and dance. Building Kidz provides this all for her while still teaching her the ABCs and the 123s. The other thing they provide her is the hugs she needs when she's hurt, when she's missing my husband or me, and the security to know she is loved. My husband and I are so grateful for the 4 years of unmatched care provided to our two sons at Building Kidz. We are heart-broken having to say goodbye! My oldest, born 2 months into the pandemic, started at BK in June 2021 when he was 13 months old. The Director/Owner, Manali, had to give us a tour over the phone due to Covid restrictions. Though the tour was virtual, the quality of care and cleanliness of the facilities was evident even through an iphone camera. Both of my boys transitioned so well to this school and almost always happily walked into their classroom every morning to greet loving teachers. I will forever be grateful to the BK community, the director and amazing teachers for providing a loving second home to them for so many years. We love love love the teachers here at Building Kidz. I currently have two children enrolled, one in the infant room and one in the preschool (whom also started in the infant room). I love the infant room and the activities they get to do. Lots of outdoor time and sensory play. I love getting pictures throughout the day. My two have very different personalities and the teachers really care and love for each individually and meet them where they are at in learning and exploring. I don't feel like they are pressured to do any activity they are not comfortable with. During COVID SIP we enjoyed the online videos, my two loved being able to see their teachers and would ask to watch videos again and again. It's a wonderful place for kids! It was referred to me by a family friend and after visiting Building Kidz San Jose we looked no further. My son was happy to attend all the classroom activities as well as to play with friends outside (the sandbox and the tricycles were a great addition to the slide and monkey bars in the yard).
