We selected the new countertops from samples in their showroom, then shopped on our own for the tile backsplash, all new appliances and fixtures. Westside was very flexible in allowing us to be hands-on with the process and our selections. For Clients who prefer more creative guidance, Westside offers in-house design services. Jonathan and the entire Westside team were exceptional in their care and concern for the Client. Further, their various tradespeople were friendly and competent without exception. Importantly, they also finished within budget and estimated timeline. Although we have held off painting the kitchen walls and restoring the floor tile pending completion of other work planned for our home, we have already settled into our "mostly new" kitchen. I wanted to replace my aging tile countertop for my bbq island. It was a small project and other…read morecompanies were asking for at least $1-2k more. An expert from another company had recommended a remnant granite slab as my top dimensions didn't warrant a full slab. Adrian helped me with this project from beginning to end, and I'm super happy with his guidance. Some key points: 1. He had me go to their warehouse in Thousand Oaks to hand pick a remnant granite slab. This is important because you don't really know how a slab will look unless you see it in person. Michelle was at the store, and she was very friendly and patient in showing me the different slabs. 2. He sent me a pic of where they were planning to cut, and I was able to ask him to move the template by about a foot to maximize the areas that I wanted to keep. 3. He worked with me with the pricing so that it was competitive with another quote from a lesser know company. This included demo, disconnecting and reconnecting bbq from a licensed plumber, and also the entire fabrication and install process. Gustavo and his partner did an excellent job with demo and installation. This all took two weeks which I was happy with. Of note, Luxiomer sells the countertops, but their sister company Renovva Stone Master is in charge of fabrication while iCal construction installs. They are under one owner, but technically three different companies.

We initially hired RGC to replace four nail-in windows and one slider because we were experiencing interior water leaks. The work was done quickly and perfectly. We were so impressed that we hired them again for painting and a water heater replacement. Months later, our upstairs (brand new) Milgard windows began leaking. Richard came out right away. He brought in their supplier, Agoura Sash & Door, and even coordinated two separate inspections with Milgard's warranty team. Both times, Milgard said the issue wasn't covered. Instead of walking away or blaming the manufacturer, Richard stood behind the job. He paid out of his own pocket to replace the windows again -- including tearing out stucco, redoing drywall, repainting -- everything. That kind of integrity and accountability is extremely rare in construction. If you want a contractor who truly stands behind his work and treats customers the right way, call Richard.
