Food was amazing! Restaurant was easy to find, clean and had lots of seating. Our server did an amazing job!

Great addition to GVL. They have lunch specials which is a plus! Their kimchi was sooo fresh. The crunch and flavor was really good. I got the bulgogi and it was wonderful. Right amount of spice and it was perfect with my steamed rice. I'll definitely come back!

Since I don't have many Korean options near home I like to seek it out when traveling. On my most recent business trip to the area, I found this option a short drive from the hotel. I liked all of the options on the Starter Combination. The Mandoo & Cheese Wontons more than the egg roll. For my entree I chose the Special Cut Fried Chicken with Spicy Korean Sauce & House Fried Rice. The chicken reinforced my love of Korean Fried Chicken and the sauce was not spicy but quite sticky and messy. Luckily there was plenty of napkins on the table because I went through quite a few. The Fried Rice was sticky enough that even an amateur like me could eat with chop sticks and I never used a fork. The server checked on me regularly without being annoying and only negative was a minor issue with the ticket that was resolved. I would recommend for anyone looking for a good Korean meal.

I was in Greenville during a recent business trip, and stopped by Bulgogi during lunch. First impression, it's very much reminds me of authentic Korean style restaurants. They did a great job with the atmosphere. The banchan was great, their Kangnamul was great (marinated bean sprouts), and the fried chicken was even better. I had never had deep fried mandu, and it was actually very good, to the point that when I got back home, I made it for my husband and kids. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Here on vacation with my husband we love Korean food so we had to check it out. Got here shortly after they opened. Staff was great. Edited: so turns out we loved this place so much we actually came here every day of our vacation. And every meal we had was just as good as the last. Everything we had was amazing!! The gal bi rib, the honey special cut chicken wings, the spicy braised chicken, the bulgogi beef, cheese wontons, egg rolls and the mandoo steamed and fried. All these dishes were so delicious even the little salad they give you the dressing is so little but flavorful!!! We did try the pork belly it wasn't bad but wasn't a top pick but when we dipped it in the honey butter sauce (it was a hair dry) it wasn't too bad! This is added to the list of place we will definitely be back for! Please if your ever in the Greenville area I would give them a try!!!

We have been coming for a while now. We enjoy the food and will come back again. The beat thing about this place is the Korean food. It is outstanding. The portion size is good for the price. They have really good kimchi as well. The second best thing about this place is the staff. They are so welcoming and friendly. They make certain you have what you need. I hope you try this place out and enjoy it as much as we do.

Omg, I'm in love. New ti the area and found on yelp. Not done eating and can't wait to be back.

2Second time this week and omb, by far best Bulgogi I've ever had. BTW haven't had a lot but it is amazing. Had bulgogi stew for lunch other day and loved it too. I'm def gonna be a regular as long as I'm in the area

This restaurant usually has really good food and so so service. Tonight both the food and service were bad not just for us but for multiple tables. There was only one very overwhelmed server in the front of house. For the first 30 minutes we waited without any acknowledgment even though he had gone to every other table twice. I finally went up to the register and said I know it's pretty busy in here tonight can I just give you my order here. He said " oh sorry, I forgot about you". My order wasn't to complex , I just asked for no rice. I follow a strict keto for cancer diet. I even reiterated just meat and vegetables. Fast forward another twenty minutes to the server coming out to the table beside us saying" you have been here a long time what did you order." They told him and he came back a few minutes later and said they had lost the ticket and would be starting on their food next. He offered a free appetizer as a nice gesture for the mistake. We had the same thing happen to us last time. Apparently whatever ticketing method they use is problematic. So out comes our food, my husbands is fine but mine was no meat, and vegetables burnt to the hot plate. I mean burned so bad you couldn't even stir them. I asked where my meat was and why did my plate have rice. He went back and after about ten minutes he brought half a cup of meat, possibly six ounces out. By this time my husband had finished eating and I had finished as many non scorched vegetables as I could pry from the char. I asked for a a little more meat for my trouble since what I received looked like a half portion of what I normally get. The lady in the kitchen said No that I already had enough. So I paid full price for a burnt incorrect meal with poor service unlike the table next to me who was offered apologies and free food. I can take service being slow and I don't expect every meal to be perfect but the customer service after the fact left the most bitter taste of all.

BEST Korean food in Greenville at a good price. The soups and meat are very authentic, and their tteokbokki is notably good.

Eating somewhere where all you can focus on are penalties and All the pressure to finish what you can because you don't wanna get charged is a bit much. I get there are alot of people that waste food. And I get the charge for that. However, why charge everyone double and then charge them again for actually taking it home. I am not sure what everyone ordered so can only go into details about what my husband and I had and what murmurings I heard from the folks seated around me. I got the pork rib barbecue with soondubu (soft tofu stew). Hubs got the beef bulgogi with kimchi jigae (stew). There were also a variety of banchan. Some friends split the large BBQ combo which looked big as a house. Another friend ordered a bunch of dumplings. If I were to have one complaint, it would be that the menu wasn't beginner friendly. I'm personally well acquainted with Korean food but there were a couple folks in the group who had never had it before and didn't have enough info about what they were ordering. Many of the items in the "entrees" section are soups, but they don't say that they're soups and at least one friend was surprised that is what they ended up with. I wish I'd known they were struggling and could have helped them, but I'd recommend that the restaurant revise the menus a bit or at least have one page that defines some stuff for the beginners. Beyond that, no real complaints. The portions were large and I was very happy with everything I ate. The banchan were good, mostly representative of banchan I've had elsewhere though their bean sprouts were a bit different than I usually get (in a good way) and a couple of the radish dishes might have been a little too similar. The soondubu was good, a little less "fishy" than I'm used to; mine uses anchovy broth but maybe they don't? It wasn't spicy at all. The kimchi jigae was a little spicier. The BBQ pork rib was a little different than I was expecting from another restaurant I used to get that dish from, but not in a bad way, it was still very good but less saucy. Still had good flavor, and there was a lot of meat conveniently already removed from the bone for the most part. I like that they cook the food in back; while some might enjoy "make it yourself" BBQ; I prefer to focus on the company when I'm dining out. They were kind enough to split the checks, which with that many people is GREATLY appreciated and they made sure to point out that tip was already included prominently on the bill. Prices are very reasonable for Korean, which is often one of the pricier cuisines, especially given the portion sizes. It is not "cheap", but it is "reasonable" for what you get. I will absolutely organize another group meal here next time I'm in town, I'll just hold a little "Korean food 101" session for the noobs beforehand though to help them know how to order!

It was very good! I liked that it had a good variety of Korean dishes beyond bulgogi and K-fried chicken, as much as I love both of those. I'll be back next time in Greenville. Restaurant was clean, not too loud, and service was a little slow but very friendly!
