We've been here several times but this time the service was impeccably amazing with Juan as our server! He went above and beyond. You could see he enjoys his job. The food as always was delicious but as usual, the ribs had too much bbq sauce. We requested for no sauce and Juan noted it however the manager didn't read the order. He offered to take them back but we don't take food back for any reason. She came by our table and we did mention it but she was a little arrogant about the mishap instead of apologizing for getting the order wrong she made a statement of well you liked them right. This is a solid three-star Starbucks. I'm going to recommend Starbucks do away with in-store music. It does nothing to improve the experience for the customer. Most people hanging out in a Starbucks more than a couple of minutes are either trying to get work done or they are having a conversation. I dare say zero people go to Starbucks for entertainment. Starbucks are already noisy, normal coffee shop noises, but the music on top of it, especially at this Starbucks with a lot of bass and a repeating loop of what sounded like a drum line, rapidly becomes maddening. Otherwise, this Starbucks served its purpose. The drink tasted good, the dining room was clean, no vagrants living inside or outside, and the bathroom was nice. If you want to look like a champ to everyone at Great Wolf lodge order a family meal from Lupe Tortilla. I ordered a family meal Togo for the 7 kids we had saying at the Great Wolf Lodge. It came with so much stuff. I didn't think the smartest family meal would be enough but it was pretty. I looked around and Lupe Tortilla was more affordable than your standard fast food restaurant for the family. They provided plates and utensils. It was easy to order online. And when I went to pick it up the manager was there at the front desk. He was super friendly. If I had more time I probably would have had a margarita at Lupe while waiting for the food. They had the big garage doors open last night because the weather was amazing and the patio looked fun. read more

Metal tables + metal chairs + concrete floor = nails on a chalkboard. They spent a good 10 to 15 minutes rearranging and shuffling the tables and chairs, then rearranging them again and again. Our group of 8 had planned to order another drink and dessert, but with the ongoing loud screeching, we decided to leave. It was a late lunch for me & I fill up on chips & salsa (don't we all) so I ordered the cup of chicken tortilla soup--FANTASTIC. It was packed with flavor & loaded with chicken, green/red peppers, roasted corn, onions, fresh cilantro, cheese, chopped fresh jalapeños, & topped with avocado & a lime. The only thing I didn't like about it was the tortilla strips in the bottom, they were soggy... Biggest problem is they now, even though the claim it has been initiated four months ago, but they never asked me to do so until now, you can't make an order, they will not make it till you get there and pay for it. This is disappointing, because I usually order from them every other week sometimes more, make my order on the way home from work. By the time I get Lupe's,, they have it ready. I pay and leave. Perfect. I will never give my credit card number over the phone. Last time I did it some person spent $400+ in one day at a gas station. Just using my number, because I still have possession of my card, and then purchased tons of stuff at grocery stores that didn't even make sense. At least Discover called me and let me know about it. In today's world, you shouldn't have to hand your credit card numbers over. I guess I'll just will order from other restaurants and pick it up the normal way. I normally come to Lupes for the fajita and chicken parrillada, which has never failed us. I went for breakfast this weekend and was beyond disappointed with the food. I ordered the chilaquiles for the brunch menu, it was just a stack of tortilla chips with a spoon full of sauce drizzled on top. It also had shredded chicken which was very dry. I think the best part of that plate were the beans that come on the side. To say the least I was very disappointed. To add on, the bartender was alone with no help with a full bar of people. She tried to help serve everybody but she had no help and you were able to tell she was really overwhelmed due to having no support. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because we enjoy other items on the menu, but it seems like the quality is definitely starting to go down. read more

Had a horrible experience tonight at this last night and left without dining there. We arrived at the restaurant a little before 8 and waited to be seated since there was no hostess to be found and a relatively empty restaurant. There was a togo server that we thought could seat us but she couldn't and called for the hostess The hostess looked annoyed when she got there and responded to the Togo server she was coming. At first, she attempted to seat us at a very crowded room where we couldn't get to our seats since other customers were being served and a huge tray was in the way She placed our menus on the table and proceeded to leave when we asked if we could be seated somewhere else. She looked inconvenienced and annoyed by my suggestion so I stated she shouldn't be so pissed. Her response was that I cursed at her and that I shouldn't talk to her like that. She was screaming at me in the middle of the packed room which I responded that I didn't curse at her and asked to speak to a manager. An employee yelling at a customer in the presence of other customers is inappropriate and I was stunned. This is a culture issue as the manager we spoke to seemed confused and unequipped to handle the situation. read more

There are always two aspects to any successful restaurant. The first is food and the second is service. But you have incredible text Max it in and around Houston is quite difficult. I Would Not Pl., Lupe tortilla in the arena of incredible tax max however it is quite good. On the other hand however I would place it in the arena of incredible service, or at least in my experience which has now been two or three different experiences at this restaurant the level of service has always been quite excellent. Rather than forgo my analysis of food however I will tell you that I had the shrimp soup which was very, very flavorful. It is advertised hours "Mexican gumbo" which is something of an exaggeration but it truly is quite tasty a healthy proportion and a plethora of ingredients. I would also make note of the bar which is superlative or at least again wise and this particular evening. What was someone disappointing was their lack of Mezcal but the variation and quality of tequila is wonderful. The manager stopped by the table at sometime during our evening he was quite pleasant and it was a delightful addition to an already enjoyable time. We had a large party of eight people including children and I must say that the service and Just the ambience Was quite remarkable. I would highly recommend this dining experience. read more

Enjoyed lots about our lunch today! I started with a Ruby Reg grapefruit margarita that was divine! The chips, fire roasted salsa and beans for dipping were sooo good! For appetizer we ordered a Mexican can shrimp cocktail which we ate on tortilla chips. It had chopped avocado and a mild salsa mixed with the shrimp in a large parfait glass. Pretty and delicious! We shared puffy tacos served with rice and refried beans were good. I wanted the taco shell to be crispy, but it was soft, still good but soft. In my world puffy tacos are crispy puffy shells like those served in San Antonio. Service was super! The restaurant is cool ambiance. The menu is extensive.
