Wings were dry rub, so not messy. Wish they had homemade Blue Cheese OR Ranch! The prepackaged sucked!

I came here for the wings, Budweiser beer, and the game. The wings were good. The Bud-bottle-no glass was cold. The game was good. They are in the process of making big changes at this place. Be sure to keep an eye on it for fun new dining opportunities to come!

This is a good pizza place. It's not very busy which is why we didn't stop at another recommended place. It's pretty quiet but it's a sport bar so there are games galore. The service isn't the best which is why I gave it 4 stars. It's not that it was bad, it just wasn't really there. We waited 3 minutes before being noticed or seen. Note there was only 2 other families eating seated in this large open area. My order was incorrectly made but the waitress was nice about trying to fix it. The pizza was delicious though. My 2 kids ate their whole small pizza. They couldn't get enough. The Greek pizza was delicious and could use a extra bit of sauce so I got it on the side. Overall I would go back. The parking area is a bit under construction and messy but when we arrived we saw a couple deer in the local gravel lot and my kids loved it.

Restaurant was empty. Best pizza and sub we've had in a while. We got the Italian sausage sub and 1/2 meat lovers 1/2 meatball Pizza. Crust was thin and crispy, perfect amount of meats and cheese. Meatballs were really good. Great cheese pull. This will definitely satisfy any pizza craving. Way better than the other pizza place near by. Outdoor seating was comfy. Tiramisu dessert was so so. Creme Brûlée was really good. Will definitely return when we are back in town.

Hubby was craving pizza and this was "the best in town" so we decided to dine in today. When we first arrived they're 2 entrances with a "plz wait to be seated sign" at the one we entered from, but we were standing and people from the other entrance ended up being sat before us even though we arrived first. Not a big deal but was odd since they seen us but just ignored us until we walked over to the other entrance. When we were sat down our server didn't even ask us what we wanted to drink, she just took our order and handed us waters. We had originally ordered a 12inch meat lovers pizza and a "jumbo" chicken parm sub. When our food arrived the server said the chef decided to make our pizza into 2 smaller ones for "whatever reason" and as she placed the plate down she touched every slice and tried to put them back together to make them look neat. We were completely disgusted and didn't want to eat the pizza at all at that point, but we're not the type to complain so we just picked at it and left the rest. It was $24 for that "pizza" which tasted like frozen oven pizza. We ended up having to share the sub which was good but nothing special. I did think it'll be bigger since it was called jumbo. Maybe we would've had a better experience if we had an actual pizza and our food wasn't touched.

This was our first time in beach mountain and decided to get breakfast at this cafe , our server was the chef aswell. It felt so homely , as if we where their family not their customers. Insuring I food was amazing (I had a breakfast burrito and he had eggs with links) we both enjoyed our food and how he went out of his was to make me a cappuccino ! Was fantastic! Thank you for making us feel like family with great food !

When we were planning our trip to Beech Mountain over the Thanksgiving break, we knew we were going to eat at the Famous Brick Oven pizzeria. Much to our dismay, they are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Luckily, Bullwinkle's was open! We came in early and were told it would be a while before we could get any food because they had a ton of to-go orders and their main cooked quit that day. We decided to stay because, well, it was a nasty day and we had been stuck in the house all day and why not have a change of scenery!?! Our waitress was incredibly apologetic and she was working her hardest. When we finally got our pizza, it was worth the wait! So tasty! Kids loved the cheese and pepperoni pizzas and my husband and I had the supreme Was a good experience and we will be back!

Fairly small restaurant/bar which is tied to a small inn, the setup reminded me of a bed and breakfast. Feels like a family owned restaurant where everyone knows everyone. Service was super fast and very friendly, didnt go more than 5 minutes without someone checking in eventhough the restaurant was pretty full. Pizza was really good, not the best ive ever had, but definitely in the top 10. Food was really fresh, you could tell it was made to order. There are 2 pizza joints on the mountain so had to try them both before i made the review. I was suprized that this place beat out the other one hands down.

We love Bullwinkels pizza. It is our favorite on Beech. Friendly staff and love the location. Many menu options beyond just pizza too.

Plenty of seating inside and out, with a really nice outdoor covered patio. Ordered some wings, an enormous fish n chips plate, and a few cold ones to wash it all down with. The wings were a bit underwhelming. I ordered them first and they came out 30 seconds later. They were most likely sitting there in the kitchen instead of made to order especially on a wing night. It showed since they were a bit chewy and not hot and fresh. Everything else was amazing. The fish n chips knocked it out of the park! I wasn't planning on ordering it, but after the 3rd plate of it went by I couldn't resist. 2 huge fresh, hot and crispy fish on top of their homemade chips. The fish was outstanding. Perfectly fried with that outer crisp and inner tenderness. I will have a hard time ordering anything else here. If you haven't had it here, get it for sure. With a fresh and made to order wings dish, this place is a 5 star review with no hesitation!

In a town that is geared…read moretowards tourists (I'm a resident), and where one restaurant tries to outdo the other, this restaurant is sorely lacking, in everything from wait staff to food. What they do have is a lot of different types of beer. So I guess if you just want a beer with tasteless food then this is the place to go. My friend and I had lunch at around 12 noon. There were literally only four other tables with a few people. Our waiter came to take our order and basically gave the impression that he wishes he was anywhere other than in this restaurant working. Not even a smile or a hello how are you doing? He was truly uncaring and answered us in half syllables when we had questions about the menu. OK whatever -/so we ordered a burger and the turkey Gruyère sandwich. At $19 for a burger (most other places in Blowing Rock charge around 12) and another 19 for a turkey sandwich you would expect at least french fries or coleslaw as a side. The sides are potato chips ( how cheap can you get) or green beans?????? if you want anything else like a side salad or fruit you have to pay an additional five dollars. Literally every other restaurant in town that serves sandwiches or burgers gives you a choice of several sides that come with the meal . But here a hamburger with a side of fruit was $23. Our waiter never came back to check on us, but another waitress did come a couple times and filled my tea glass with ice and asked us how everything was and brought samples of the beer. Thank you to whoever that was. Wish you could have been our waitress. Because our waiter was so unconcerned about waiting on us that he apparently forgot we were there. After a half an hour of not receiving our food in a restaurant that was mostly empty, I flagged him down and asked him what happened to our food. He said he would go and check on it. He came back and said that ours was the next ticket up.!! so basically this waiter held onto our ticket and then got reminded that he had to actually put it in for us to get our food. So we waited another 10 minutes. The burger was so tiny you practically needed a magnifying glass to see it. Burned to a crisp because of course the waiter also forgot to ask how we wanted it cooked. We like it medium rare, and definitely not charred and well done. The Turkey sandwich with Gruyère was just some turkey slices and I'm assuming gruyere cheese which I couldn't really taste. The whole sandwich was definitely forgettable. So that's my review. I still gave the waiter 10% tip, which he did not deserve. He did not deserve a tip at all. Needless to say, will never be back at this restaurant again. Nor will I ever recommend it. Because lunch for almost $60 for two people with two disgusting sandwiches was obscene.

She was very friendly and efficient. Typical bar food but some with extra flair. A salmon sandwich. Burgers and chicken sandwiches kicked up a bit. A good variety and interesting choices. NOTE: They DO have allergy protocols in place. Make sure you tell your server if you have any allergies. Nice to see restaurants doing this. I ordered the cheesesteak all the way with max n cheese. The nachos could sleazily feed 3 hungry adults. Just be aware if you order it. It's massive. Love the atmosphere, food and service. Like, actual disgusting racism happening right in front of everyone, and the staff couldn't care less. He saw this Latino guy just trying to grab a drink at the bar, and this group of white women just absolutely went off on him. They were screaming slurs and calling him the most terrible names. It wasn't a joke or a misunderstanding; it was blatant, sickening, targeted hate speech. This is Boone, right? It's supposed to be chill, but apparently, not at this place. My boyfriend immediately went to the bouncer--the guy who's supposed to keep things safe--and told him exactly what was happening. And the bouncer's official response? He said he couldn't do anything. Seriously?! A grown man is being harassed with racial slurs, and your security just shrugs and walks away? That's not just unprofessional; that's actively letting racism happen on your property. It's like they're totally cool with it. I am livid. My friends and I are DONE with Elevation 3333. No way are we giving business to a place that allows blatant disrespect and racism to run wild and then won't lift a finger to stop it. This is beyond gross. Spread the word--if they let this kind of stuff happen, they don't deserve our money.
