Wow... really... This place could be so much more if the girl at the counter cared just a little. My biggest pet pev is when the counter staff knows nothing about the food and can't explain the menu. I always support the local restaurants over the chain restaurants when I travel. I stopped in bully boss burgers to support the local business, and was I disappointed. The burger was good, and so were the onion rings except they were served in a reusable plastic tray without a paper liner - kind of concerning. They are a little pricy, all things considered. The menu is hard to figure out - a lot of choices - it was really unclear what came with a meal or a combo - plus the casher was no help explaining. There is a super limited selection of soda in cans or bottles. The interior was painted black with 3 high-top tables and 6 stools. They have a tv playing loud hip-hop videos, which is fine if the employees speak louder than the music on the videos - not the case - while I ate I watched 4 customers come in and half of their orders were wrong. I mentioned eating at bully boss to the local customer I was visiting, and they laughed. I rarely ever give out less than 3 stars on a review, and I do a lot of reviews. I had been hearing about Bully Boss Burgers and how good the food is so I HAD to get there! So, I gassed up the pacer, rolled the elderly mom up to the car and headed that way! When I tell you, I could eat there everyday!!! Listen! For starters, the customer service is immaculate! The owner is so friendly! She helped us with the menu and gave suggestions but what stood out to me was she wanted to make sure my mom, who walks with a cane, was comfortably seated. Talk about amazing! My wife told me that we had to go to this restaurant called Bully. She said that they had a food truck and that the burger she had was out of this world so today went. Located in Essex we found it. Easy to find and good signage. The front of the house is small. A few tables are chairs. Soda stand cooler small flat screen tv and large menu board for ordering. Very large and descriptive. My wife ordered for both of us. She ordered the jerk burger and I the hangover. Prompt service and the food was ready in ten minutes. My burger was good. Huge. Taste. I wanted to the mayo because it came that way. I feel it was a little too much but it was good. My wife said her burger was also delicious. She got the combo. The onion rings were good. She liked it because she did not like the beer flavors that a lot of places add beer to the batter of onion rings. My boyfriend and I would travel past this location almost daily, finally decided to give it a try. Their rate, 4/5. Why not 5? For those still wanting establishments to wear masks, this location does not consistently abide by those regulations. Also, because there were no masks, it was easier for me to see that my hostess didn't greet me with a smile. Decent service yes, but not great. No "first timer" suggestions or recommendations. Tried this place for lunch and I'm sure glad I did. It was not crowded. The ladies working were polite and professional. The menu right at the front and they had self service ordering machine. I got the shrimp cheesesteak and my goodness it was delicious. Hot, flavorful, and loved how my cheese was melty and sub roll was soft. I had been seeing this restaurant advertise for the best burgers around. I was in the area so I wanted to check it out for myself. I was immediately attracted to this establishment because it offer plant based options. Additionally, they provide a variety of smoothie options. I was immediately greeted upon entry, promptly, services, and food was quickly prepared. The cashier had a positively cheerful attitude and very accommodating. I decided on a plant burger, beer battered onion rings, and cucumber lemonade. The food was amazing and lived up to they hype. The lemonade was fire . This place is great. You can easily drive by and miss the place so keep your eyes peeled for it. They have a food truck and it Looks like the brick and mortar location is relatively new. VERY small indoor area. No outdoor seating. Honestly the indoor area is very strange for a restaurant and they could benefit from a redesign of the space so it's more open and inviting for people to stay and eat. It's very much set up for a grab and go type situation. That being said, the owner ( believe, maybe a manager?) is extremely kind and welcoming. She was super attentive, made sure everything was good and just in general makes you feel like she really Appreciated your business. The burger was delicious and the fries are awesome. Here goes. A honest critique of your food. Not what others may say, that has no official food background. Don't be upset, just fix it, and do better. Because I believe that you can. My sub looked absolutely nothing like this. It had minimal meat, the shrimp was chopped up in an attempt to make it appear as if there was more than it was. That was done after, I ordered and paid for, extra shrimp. The fries? Just Throw them away forever. They were the absolute worst I've ever eaten. I came to you all after seeing Cousin Kim's food post, and between hers, and this post? I felt absolutely cheated on what I got. The sub was absolutely not pumped up full of meat. It was not covered from end to end, with meat. Then, the order wasn't even prepared correctly the first time I ordered it. It had to be made twice. So by the time the sub came back? The fries were cold that I was left holding, after the sub was remade, with the chopped shrimp that was no where near what I paid for. Here's how to fix this. Make your food look like what you post. Stop chopping up the shrimp, in a futile attempt to make it appear as if you're getting more. Next? Get ride of those nasty fries that's pre made, and make the fries that Marylanders love, Ocean city style FRESH FRIES, from real potatoes please. Finally? If you have to remake an order? Remake everything. Not just what you messed up. Don't leave the patron standing there for 10-15 minutes, with your already bad tasting fries, only to taste even worse than when cold. read more

The burgers & fries here are outstanding!!! The burgers are made with fresh ground beef or Turkey which is very evident upon taking the first bite. I love the variety of options such as burgers, subs, loaded fries, onion rings, seasoned fries, beef hot dogs, sauces, etc etc. The staff are always so friendly & knowledge along with being veryyyy persuasive lol. During lunch time, typically from open(11am) to 2:30-3pm it can be very busy which makes the wait time a little longer than usual. It would be best to call in your order ahead of time or order online to avoid that long walk in wait. Despite the longer than normal wait time during lunch rush I will keep going back. Who ever the girl is that's in the front needs to go. I don't know if the management if different here now or what but this will be the last time I come here. They won't allow you to order over the phone and pay in store and then they take over 45 min for 4 cheesesteaks egg rolls. The girl that's in the front doesn't know how to properly communicate she told me 10 min I come back 12 min later and she told me they had just dropped them in the oven..
