Bacon sized piece of brisket they consider a portion.

Was really hungry so decided to drop by and check them out on my way home to Jerome from Parma. Ordered a 3-meat combo with Pulled Pork, Chicken and Brisket. Got home and thought I had gotten the wrong order because I didn't see the brisket. Lifted up the Chicken and there it was! A small piece of brisket about the size of a piece of bacon. Messaged Bullzz-Eye about the issue and they made zero effort to resolve the issue other than to say portions are supposed to be 4oz.

Visiting family in Idaho and decided to visit Hagerman. Came here for dinner and were so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful and flavorful and tender the meat was and the pie was special! Sweet waitress. All around good experience.

If you like great BBQ and great people serving it to you, this is the place. This food was amazing, the people inside were amazing. We felt at home. I am upset for not getting the waitress and cooks names, but if you see this, you all are awesome!! He even let us try a new desert that hasn't been put out yet and it was AMAZING!

Amazing food and service. We had a group of 22 and practically filled up the whole restaurant. The food was out very quick regardless and the man at the register was patient and kind even with our ginormous group. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! Would definitely eat here again.

Best food ever....Prim Rib....best Mac and Cheese too....

We saw this on TripAdvisor and we like BBQ so, we decided to drop in for lunch on our stay in Hagerman, Idaho. About 10 tables inside and a large menu on the wall even though the waitress brings a menu to your table. The BBQ food comes out extremely fast because it's been cooking in the back already. We ordered the Meat Cowboy Platter, which has a Tri-tip, a brisket, a sausage, and some pulled pork... and we ordered three sides: potato salad, 'slaw, and their beans. They had 4 types of BBQ sauce, Honey, Smokey, Sweet and Spicy and Extra Spicy. Food was good. The sausage was homemade and delicious...my wife's favorite. The brisket was tasty and tender. We especially liked the beans....very good with a hint of garlic. 'Slaw was good as was the potato salad. Oh, almost forgot the Texas Toast...a thick piece of buttered bread. So good, we ordered another one. The owner was sitting nearby as it was a lull in business, so we chatted. Very friendly. He's expanding into the extra space in the next room. Today was slow but he said they got "hammered" the Friday before. Closed on Sundays...rats. No ribs because the local distributors cannot get the meat from Texas due to the recent cold spell that went through. We've had lots of Texas BBQ so that's our standard. This food was very good, and we'll go back. Not quite up to the Texas places but still delicious. The extra spicy sauce had a good kick but still very much like a BBQ sauce. So many times, the sauce is just hot with no flavor. This was both. Nice place with friendly folks. We recommend it.

Stopped in because of the bakery sign, but the wonderful odor of BBQ cooking got us for early lunch. Super friendly owner and son took care of us. Enjoyed the cowboy sampler and a mint brownie. Stop if you are in town!

BullzzEye BBQ in Hagerman! Just finished a road trip from St. Louis Missouri down to Florida. Found this gem the weekend after and have to say, I had some fabulous bbq on that trip, and Ben at BullzzEye fed me the best bbq I've ever had! Came back two days later for his pastries and brunch on Saturday morning. AMAZING!!! My southern family make the best Biscuits n Gravy, so I've never liked biscuits and gravy in a restaurant. Now I found the one restaurant that is an exception to that rule. Going back tonight for smoked Prime Rib.

It's ok for Hagerman. It's a little pricy for BBQ.If you must have BBQ it's the best you will find in Gooding County.

We were jazzed to try Smokey Bone as an extension of this food hall…read more The menu was pleasantly overwhelming. Thought the three-meat sampler was good bang for our buck: brisket, pulled pork and smoked pork ribs. $18 for generous portions. We were gonna try the wings but after the server heaped the mounds of brisket and ribs on our tray - we scratched them. We also got corn bread and slaw for our a la carte sides. The meats were good, and good without the BBQ sauces (Carolina Vinegar, Spicy BBQ, Alabama Horseradish). Though we were basically drinking the vinegar by the end of the meal. The ribs were our favorite - lovely, crispy exterior with charred ends and tender once we dug in. The pulled pork was alright. Tasted more like it would work better as a topping on some mac or fries than as a main protein on your plate. I loved the corn bread. Dense and appropriately brittle. It was a fitting companion for the meats. Don't know when we'd be in town again to give other menu items some attention, but Smokey Bone has left a lot of good eats to the imagination - enough to know we could recommend this place to other out-of-towners without getting our foodie cards revoked.

Not impressed with this bbq! Got the brisket and corn bread…read more Flavor on brisket is just ok but without sauce it's dry! The corn bread is just ok more sweet cakey flavor than a good bbq corn bread. The young man cutting the meat was fine but the girl at the register wasn't. I asked for butter for the cb and she forgot it. When I looked in the box I asked her for the butter and she tells me there is none. I ask if there's any in the back and she says no without going to even check and they were not busy. Then she gives me the same meh face she gave the guy in front of me when she told him they were out of the beans. Made no effort whatsoever to go out of her way to do much of anything. And this was at 6 pm on a Thursday night. Not a good experience.

Today we tried a the three meat platter, Cajun Mac and cheese, red beans and rice, catfish We decided to give this place another try after seeing a recent positive review, hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, most of the meal was still a big miss. We ordered the mac and cheese, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, catfish, red beans and rice, coleslaw, and banana pudding. The mac and cheese was overcooked, flavorless, and had an odd taste that even extra seasoning couldn't fix. The ribs, brisket, and pulled pork were tender but bland, with one strange flavor I couldn't identify. The barbecue sauce helped some, but mostly just covered it up. The catfish was the highlight, crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the tartar sauce. The banana pudding came in second, creamy, sweet, and actually really good. The red beans and rice were okay, but they used instant rice and didn't include much of it. The coleslaw was bitter and hard to enjoy. We ended up throwing away more than half the meal. We really wanted to like this place and support a local business, but for the cost and quality, we can't recommend it and won't be back.
