Driving from Vegas to WA State will likely take you through some lonely highways. Once you tackle NV (and say hello to Jackpot NV), you're in ID and not long after is Rogerson ID, home of a super cute saloon style diner with great food called Buster's. While they're known for their finger steaks (google it), we elected to order a few other items and while my wife got a super good sandwich, I got a chili burger and it was exactly what I hoped for. The chili was great, it was a large burger patty and all in all, with the additional "Sidewinder" fries, was a great filling meal after driving and driving and driving and well, driving. For those that look at the photo and wonder just how bad for me that delicious chili burger was, may I just note in my defense that Buster's have a BLT with a full pound of bacon (!!) on the menu. While it was absolutely calling my name, I'd like to think that getting the chili burger was my twisted mind rationalizing that it was healthy...(by comparison at least). Stopped in for dinner last night and so glad we did!!! The food is AWESOME and the service was great! We had cheese curds (a little spicy!), chili cheese sidewinders, the finger steaks with mashed potatoes and white gravy, shrimp chowder, and a chicken fried steak dinner with salad and a baked potato. All the sauces were made in house and the food was very fresh! SO GOOD and can't wait to get back! P.S. They do prime rib on Saturdays and have lots of other specials that sounded delicious too :) read more

My BBQ sause thing got stuck.ann I got into trouble trying to clean it out plus the other bottles wasn't clean either.i am not happy about it.but our waiter was a sweet heart.plus the price for 3 of us was crazy. read more

Absolutely great environment. I received excellent service. the catfish was crunchy and moist and extremely flavor. the service was great. We were so excited to come here but it was a huge disappointment. The cheesesteak literally didn't have cheese and the meat was absolutely flavorless. The onion rings were battered too thickly and were a bit slimy. We would give the place another try but avoid the cheesesteak at all costs. read more

The chicken fried steak and chicken strips were delicious. Just a heads up though...don't order the soda. Their water has so much chlorine in it that it affects the soda taste. It tastes terrible! The service was excellent. read more

Stopped in on the final leg of our 8000 mile RV odyssey and we're so glad we did. The tornado had the cheeseburger and liked it and I had a chicken dinner which was great. Wish we lived nearby but we don't. I highly recommend Busters to anyone driving thru Hollister that's either hungry or thirsty! Prime rib on saturdays looks real good too! The server was extremely friendly when we came in on Thursday for lunch. They were out of a few things. We ordered three beef brisket sandwiches, but they only had enough for two that was OK because my cousin ordered something different. The food was fast, hot, and delicious! The ciabatta bun was toasted. Well add nice and soft yet crispy around the edges and the brisket was absolutely fantastic. I've never had such tender brisket. It appears they have a little smoking patio off the dining room with a door separating, and when that door was open, you get a pretty good with of cigarette smoke. With all that being said, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The restaurant itself has a lot of charm and gives a cabin type fill. Lots of wood including the floors. It's really very nice. It's a gem out in the middle of nowhere in Hollister. read more

Country fried steak huge and made Texas style from scratch. Absolutely excellent. Old fashioned western saloon ambience with lots of character. Even fries were homemade! One man kitchen turns out some of the best food in America. If you're ever in Hollister, Idaho. Be sure to stop at BUSTERS for a fantastic meal. And overnight for RV IS $35 bucks for electric 50 Amp and water. Sewer dump is easy access for customers! read more

Buyer beware on there wing order. Placed an order on their half pound wings and only received 4 wings. Looks like there scale is off as is their interior decoration. I do not recommend this place, and hopefully travelers don't stop here and get taken advantage of. read more

This is a great place right on 93 outside Twin Falls.. The steak and fish were very good. The owners are very nice and the service was excellent. Nice outdoor eating in the back but the inside is great too. Very family friendly. It's close to Twin Falls but still in the country. It has it all, food, camping and clean. We were looking for a place to stay with our 40ft camper and it was perfect. It's a peaceful RV park with 50 amp and water hookup. There is a dump station as well on the premises. Bonus: Propane is also available. It's a hidden gem! We will definitely stay here again if we travel this was! "Don't forget about the parking for you truckers out there." read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this little place. We stopped in for breakfast on a late Sunday morning and the place was pretty much empty. The waitress was friendly & attended to us right away. I ordered the Ham & Cheese Omelette, it came with hashbrowns & toast for $7.99. Pretty good deal! The wheat toast was really yummy. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and it was HUGE. Literally covered his whole plate. It was smothered in gravy & looked great. The menu has a lot of great options for lunch and dinner as well. I thought it was funny how if you order a soda it says "ONLY 1 REFILL" hahaha. I've never seen that before. All in all, I wouldnt make a special trip to come out here, but we might utalize it when we drive from here to Vegas! read more

Great food and atmosphere! We were glad to find this fun stop on the road back to Nevada. We had the spicy cheese curds, pizza, and a cheeseburger. All the food was hot and extremely tasty. The waitstaff and owner are very friendly and attentive. Easy parking for RVs too! read more

We just happened to stop in on St Patty's Day. The food was awesome and our server Geraldine was absolutely fantastic. Then the manager brought around slices of st Patty's cake. On our travels back home from Yellowstone to Winnemuca we were starving and stopped in to have lunch. We had the pulled pork and home made mashed potatoes and gravy. Pretty good! Meal sizes are on the larger size and the prices are just right. We got an order to go so I'm not sure how the in house service is. The waitress was nice though. She did mess up part of the order but it happens and everything was wonderful regardless. we got the breakfast burrito, breakfast taco and biscuits with gravy and all was very tasty. read more

Was traveling back home to Nevada from Wyoming and saw Buster's. You can tell right away this is going to be a great place. Buster and his wife opened this place about 6 months ago and you can tell they put pride into the place. Great folks and a great place to grab a meal and a drink. Had a patty melt with homemade Idaho fries, fabulous. Also saw prime rib and meatloaf that looked equally as good. I dont think you can do wrong with anything here. Stopped in on our travels to Idaho Dunes in St Anthony. We were welcomed and waited on by the owner and his wife. We both had the most tender, delicious smoked brisket dinner. Homemade coleslaw was a great side - Bill had the hamburger steak and enjoyed it thoroughly. And real authentic green beans - sautéed in garlic - um, DELICIOUS. We live close to Hollister and Buster's is a great resource. Since our children left home I don't have much interest in cooking, so Buster's is our go-to option. Everything we eat there is good and some times better than just good. Buster smokes his own meats and the smoked brisket is as good as any I have ever eaten! I usually like to review a place based on the food, ambience and service alone. This time, I'll still be doing that, but also rating this place based on the attitude of the owner. My son, who is 11, was rolling a cue ball along the pool table, not dropping it and doing any real damage to it. Buster, who apparently is not a fan of kids, grabbed the ball out of my son's hand and yelled, "you can't throw that ball on the table!" Drama aside, the ambience was great but the food left lots to be desired. The fries were awful -- soggy and undercooked. Burger and chicken sandwich were fine. Pizza was mediocre at best. But this is only one of two stops on highway 93 for 100 miles between Twins Falls, ID and Wells, NV. So if you're hungry, stop in. read more
