As soon as we walked in into the bike area, we were greeted right away by Henry. Henry was just a great guy. Super nice, really knowledgeable and helpful. He even helped me tie them down in my truck without even asking. Great customer service! Now we did go right when they opened on a Sunday, so it was not busy. I recommend doing the same if you want to get the same attention and help I got. I'm sure they still give good customer service either way but I can't verify that myself. They had everything we needed to start our biking journey. The only negative thing I will say, the helmets were super expensive. They had many colors and options but I didn't want to spend $100+ on a helmet that seemed to be the same quality/materials as any standard helmet. Wish they had other cheaper options for helmets. Also the glove selection was not the greatest. Given that everything else that was so great, these two small complaints aren't too big of a deal. If your looking to get into biking, come here! Extremely Disappointing Experience -- Damaged a Well-Maintained Vintage Bike…read more I brought my 40-year-old vintage bike -- which had been meticulously maintained for decades and was in excellent condition -- to this shop because of a stuck nut on the rear wheel. Instead of addressing the issue or replacing just the axle (which I clearly requested), they insisted the entire wheel had to be replaced. Reluctantly, I agreed. After the replacement, I noticed that the freewheel was visibly oscillating, which was never an issue before. When I brought the bike back, their response was dismissive -- claiming the problem was simply due to the bike being "bad quality." That was completely false and insulting, considering the bike's proven condition and history. I even brought a replacement axle and asked them to reinstall the original wheel (which I had marked), but instead of fixing anything, they just said they'd give me the old wheel back -- without doing the work. To support the fact that this is a well-maintained, quality bike, I've uploaded photos of the original purchase receipt from 1986 and the owner's manual -- not many people keep those for 40 years. This bike has never had a scratch and ran flawlessly until this visit. At best, this was unprofessional and careless. At worst, it was dishonest. They ignored my request, pushed unnecessary work, introduced a new mechanical problem, and then refused to restore the bike to its original state. This shop wasted my time, money, and damaged a bike I cared deeply about. I strongly advise others to stay away, especially if you value your bike and expect respect and transparency.

Store has a nice vibe. If you're a hardcore road cyclist, you'll notice that the focus of the store is not high-end road bikes (very different from stores in Austin). But this Trek store has all the basics and more importantly experienced staff that listen to customers. Also had my Specialized Roubaix serviced here, and the service department works hard to turn bikes around quickly. For perspective, I'm not a newbie to bicycles and bike stores. I had an older motorcycle that I dropped off. It had set awhile and needed some carb work and some…read moreother items done. Well $700+ later I drive away. I get home, park it and had to leave town for two weeks. Came back fired it up and only runs when the choke is on. It just dies when throttle is used. I called BucketHeads and they said to bring it in. I explained I can't drive it and have not trailer, hence the fact that I had to pay for it to be towed by them the first time. They just said to bring it in and left me to figure out how to get it in. They kept telling me they spent way more time on my motor cycle then they were billing me for, but what good is that if it doesn't run. I would recommend going else were. They are very nice, but what good is that. The motorcycle is in the same shape as before, except i have a new battery. Update: I just spoke with them again and they are going to pickup the bike. I will report how it turns out. It is looking up though. Sorry for the late update. Bucketheads did come and get my motorcycle and they have it running like a charm. They stood by thier work and fixed th issue. They have won my business.

After a year of trying to get my Aventon Sinch repaired at E-bike shops in Mansfield and Farmers…read moreBranch with no luck or hope, only months of broken promises and aggravation, I found E-Bike Central had opened in Temple. A phone conversation with the owner renewed hope my Sinch might live again. Within minutes of bringing my bike in the door it was surrounded by all four employees diagnosing the problem each of the aforementioned e-bike shops couldn't in months of trying. Within 15 minutes the E-Bike Central team had my Sinch running like new! I won't mention how little they would accept for resurrecting my bike, other than to say I had to resort to tipping each employee $20 to keep my self-respect intact. By the way, E-Bike Central's showroom is like AN E-BIKE WONDERLAND, with dozens of cool models I never knew existed despite hours of e-bike shopping all over cyberspace. These guys are not just golden, but actually renewed my confidence that excellent business-people still exist; they're just few and far between. Suffice to say my 200 mile round-trip to E-Bike Central in Temple was well worth it. I can't thank these guys enough for saving my Sinch that two other e-bike shops FAILED MISERABLY to accomplish, despite $150 out of my pocket, and hundreds of miles in multiple round-trips to the D/FW metroplex.
