I had multiple wasp nests in the inside of my garage door and was in search of a new pest control service so I came to Yelp to create a project and elicit some quotes to find the best pest control company. Bulwark reached out to me right away. I viewed their Yelp page and they not only had stellar reviews for but were also running a $100 off the initial service special. They also came with a Yelp backed guarantee. I spoke with them and a few other companies before making my decision. Mostly through texts conversations. Very easy, and without pressure. Bulwark was willing to come out the same day, which was a Saturday and despite me reaching out late in the afternoon. After finding out about their excellent prices, as well as their great reviews, service special, and overall what they had to offer in comparison to others, I made an appt with them for the following Wednesday. The service tech, George/Jure called me close to 8AM to let me know he was 30 min away. They had given me a 8-11AM window so I was impressed he'd arrive closer to the earlier end of the timeframe. George arrived right on time, was super kind, professional and had a calm presence about him that would put anyone at ease. He got rid of all the wasp nests. I thought I had 4 or 5. He informed me I had like 10! Whoa! He also preventatively treated the inside of every room of my home, as well as my front and backyards, windows, doorways, and front entrance area. Bulwark uses strong products that are kid and pet safe. The products also smell great, kinda like essential oils. The smell lingered after George left and for several days thereafter so I felt like I got my money's worth, if not more and I haven't seen one critter yet. It wasn't a strong smell but a smell that lasted a while. Regarding their prices, they're super inexpensive, a little over $40 every few months. Very budget friendly. I'm thrilled to have found Bulwark and have so much peace of mind about my home being free of bugs and pest. I hired these guys through Yelp to exterminate my daughter's apartment, which was flea-infested. So far, so good. There's a 60-day guarantee, so if any fleas pop up, they'll be back over to treat again. While the price is in line with everyone else, the customer service is exceptional. Not only were they extremely polite and professional during both of my phone calls to them, but they also answered my questions in detail. As a former plant nursery owner, I previously had a pesticide applicator's license, and I was interested to know what chemical they would be using. The dude on the phone had that information at his fingertips. There was a hiccup with the scheduling (they were scheduled to come on a Saturday but came on a Friday, which pushed everything to Monday), but it wasn't the end of the world in our case and certainly not a deal-breaker. When came time to them providing a window and showing up within that window, they were there at the early part of the window which was a positive change for me from my previous pest control service. Technician Iaith was super friendly and took time to explain the services offered, products used, next steps, and answered my questions. We have used Bulwark for over a year now and at the start it was good. We live in a new construction neighborhood so as you can imagine bugs are an issue with the work going on. We noticed the quality and length of our services start to dwindle (no web removal, barely covering the perimeter of the house with solution, and overall customer service was no longer what is once was.) I had called and voiced concerns several times and this month when no one showed up for our pest control service I called to cancel. Women on the phone were very rude and no one cared that I was cancelling. I sat in silence on the phone as they closed my accounts and was spoken to in a dry/cold manner. This is truly sad and frustrating as we did like the service at one point, but I cannot excuse the lack in quality and honest work as we have been loyal customers for over a year now. Found a Groupon to try them out. Everything in the beginning was good. The rep told us we can call back in 60 days if we see pest again. Saw ants the next month and called back. The service rep never showed up and I called again. At the end of the day nothing was done by the company. No confirmation the work was completed. No follow up to ensure the customer is satisfied. 60 day warranty is a hoax. read more
