Jacob G. Was the was who came and serviced my house. He professionally introduced himself and Bulwark Exterminating. He spread my whole exterior of my house with pest protection and around my trees, taking care of ants, bugs, etc. Once he finished with the exterior, he explained what he was going to do in the interior. I don't know much about the pest procedure but having Jacob explain what he was doing, made me a bit ease at the type of service I was getting va what I paid for. I hate having yearly maintenance service contract but I'm glad for people like Jacob G, who is honest, helpful, and knows his job well to take care of picky customer like me. Now, I'm at ease knowing that if I have any pest problem at anytime after my quarterly services, I can just call or go on their website and schedule a free re-treatment(s). read more

I'd prefer to leave zero stars, but that's not an option. If you want good customer service and service requests honored, this is not the company for you! We had two separate accounts sold from our previous pest control company to Bulwark and instead of keeping it two accounts, they combined it into one making for a messy situation. Bills were combined and communication was not consistent to both home owners. We requested multiple times to be separated and assured it would be but nope, no such luck! We also requested to be notified at least 48 hours ahead of time so that we can be home to receive service as we have a locked gate to our property. Again no such luck. They would call 20 minutes ahead and not even on the scheduled date, always a different date/week. Very frustrating! It seemed no matter what we communicated to them it was completely ignored and dismissed. We decided to cancel our service and when they called to get their payment the account was still not separated. The CS rep didn't seem to give a care about my concerns or issues. He never once said he was sorry to hear about those or offered to transfer the call to a supervisor or even try to retain the account. During the call I asked if I could pay online and he said I could so I was getting to their website and then he told me that he just closed the account so I was no longer able to pay online. I just said WOW, proof positive that CS for Bulwark is HORRIBLE!! We were in the middle of talking and he just didn't care at all! I do not recommend this company, probably too big for their britches and really don't care about properly serving their small town customers at all!!! Think twice. read more

Robert was friendly, informative, and did a great job! We had small black ants appear in our carpets that wouldn't go away after trying ant bait, bug spray, and vacuuming/steam cleaning. We called Bulwark on a Friday afternoon and we're able to get them to come by that same day! We stopped seeing ants the next day. Robert also removed wasp nests from high hard to reach areas. Before living in Texas, a pest control service seemed unnecessary. Well, everything is bigger in Texas, including the bugs. When we started to see some things here and there, we joined the rest of the neighborhood and called a service. We choose Bulwark for two reasons: 1. The previous residents had used Bulwark and the house was completely bug free during our first year. 2. I regularly saw the company recommended on Nextdoor and FB. We have been using them for nearly a year, I believe. Every single technician they have sent has been great. They let you know when they are coming for maintenance, and if you are home, they will discuss any issues you may be concerned about and will address those during the visit. If you need an "emergency" visit, they are great with those as well. We had a scorpion in our garage, and Bullwark send out a technician the next morning. He found the little guy. Today was a day for routing maintenance. We were visited by Josh L and Brian. I mentioned our seasonal concerns and he discussed a plan of action. Josh and Brian got to work and were extremely thorough. As always, both technicians were very personable and easy going. Technician arrived at my residence for quarterly service, I was not home but observed him throughout my property from my security cameras. After ringing the doorbell and no answer he walks to my water hose and attaches it to the reservoir on his truck. He then goes about his business of exterminating the home, except he only does one side of the property all this time my water is pumping gallons of water into his reservoir on his company vehicle. After he finishes exterminating he walks over to the truck and disconnects my water hose. I will never use this company for the short cuts and use of unauthorized public utilities. read more

I live on a nice large lot near a creek bed. I love nature. As I grew older, I am no severely allergic to bee, wasps, bees, yellow jackets, fore ants, scorpions and cockroaches now. Even using the epipen. I have ended up in the emergency room. Living near a creek along with gorgeous nature & water plus rocks has attracted great views that does include brown spiders, mice. snakes, worms, mosquitoes, flies and more. Micah Hart from Bulwark pest control San Antonio Texas office made 2 special trips this to my home this week. He got rid of the snakes inside my home plus spiders, etc I am amazed how high he went up the facia and overhang of my house to remove for me pests that may hurt my life. Bulwark Pest Control has normally been able to assist me within 24 hours request. Most pest control companies will only come out One q time every 3 months at best. Bulwark Pest Control treat my home. They will come out within 60 days, to treat my home if I have any problems - without any further financial charges. My neighbors were using Bulwark Pest Control. We moved into a new subdivision and used Bulwark to help with some bugs we were seeing in our new home. The service was covered by the builder. We didn't sign up for any additional services in the future. Today someone comes by our home and says he is here for our next pest control service. I explained that we never signed up for it. Someone from their office called and transferred me to a supervisor. According to their records we signed up for continuing service. I was asked if I wanted to cancel our contract. Again, I explained that we didn't sign up for anything so they would need to cancel it if that's what was needed. The supervisor began to explain the benefits of the service and asked if they can check with us in a few months to see if we needed to keep the service or not. Not sure how or why we got signed up on anything. I am leaving two stars for the technician who came to our home. He was kind and courteous. read more

Made arrangements for service with a three hour window and they failed to show up, call or otherwise offer an explanation. A phone call to the business yielded nothing and the employee that booked the service is a ghost. Buy yourself a can of Raid and get busy because you'll be better off than than trying to work with this outfit. read more

Horrible service. I have been with them for at least 5 years. They constantly have to come multiple times to address concerns I tell them when they are at my front door are problems. Today a technician came by and to explained to him where the wasps nests were. He stated he would spray all around the house and take the wasp nest down. I went outside about 3 mins after the came to the door and he was gone. Did not take the wasp nest down and I cant see how its possible that he sprayed all around the house in 3 mins. I called the number and asked what had happened and why they did nothing and they ask me if I wanted to sign up for autopay and said the technician would call me and explain what had happened. Im not sure in what reality they thought it made sense to ask me if i wanted to be placed on autopay when I was calling to complain that they did nothing, but maybe it was a script so fine. The technician never called me, but they then send a picture of 1 dead wasp to my wife stating they took care of the wasps. I called back to cancel my service and they asked me if i would stay for half off. As I speaking the whole time, both people that I spoke with were active listening staying "um hmm, um hmm" the entire conversation. These people are con artist and had to come out at least 2-3 times every time I had an issue in order for them to actually address my concerns. Strongly advice anyone to NOT use this company. read more

Technicians use customer's water to fill their tanks, after they have been asked several times to stop. I am only giving this company 1 star because the option to give 0 stars is not available. The builder of my home contracted with Bulwark. Bulwark contacted me after closing for their "free" pest control treatment. They then began to harass me about signing up for their services. When I ignored their solicitation calls they started sending servicemen out to my house; UNINVITED! When I sent the servicemen away they billed me and now they've sent the bill to collections. But that is ok because they are breaking federal law (FCRA) and they will compensate me dearly. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY at ALL COSTS. Nothing is FREE! read more

I have been using bulwark for over 5 years. This year I switched my plan to quarterly from bi-monthly. With my busy lifestyle I did not notice that they continued to come out every 2 months to service my house until this last time when came out and sprayed and then came back out two weeks later and serviced it again. I called in and bulwark admitted that they made a mistake and they were going to refund me over $300 in the form of a check that should take 7-10 business days. I never received the check and called back 12 business days later. I was told they credited my card on file in the amount of $234.89. When I went to verify with my credit card company there was only a credit for $151.54. When I called bulwark back they told me that they have 3 transaction #s and once they have those transaction #s they said they have paid and I have to dispute the missing credit it my credit card company. So because of Bulwark's mistake for overcharging me and then taking it upon themselves to credit my card on file instead of sending me a check like they originally told me I am out of $83.35. It's a shame that they lost continued business over such a small amount. Their customer service is suspect at best and obviously do not value long time customers. Taking my business elsewhere and so should you. UPDATE I was contacted by Brendon from their quality control team. He apologized for the situation and said there was a check cut for me and said that his finance department had made a mistake. Eutimio Garcia, from Bulwark Exterminating of Schertz, TX was here today. Amazing job! Professional, Courteous and Meticulous. Bulwark Exterminating has been our regular exterminating service for six years. Since we live in Texas in a neighborhood still under construction, we understand that occasionally we may see an unwelcome guest in our home. On Sunday, for the first time in almost two years we saw a rather large scorpion on the kitchen floor. On Monday morning I called Bulwark to request additional service to assure no more unwelcome guests for a while. The company immediately rescheduled our bi-monthly treatment for the next day and completed another scorpion treatment. Eutimio assured us that the scorpion treatment extended as far from the house as possible. He sprayed the outside and inside of our house and garage too for other pests including ants, cockroaches, spiders, crickets and earwigs. Eutimio was very personable as well as professional. I hope the company sends him our way again. If you are looking for a very, very dependable exterminating company, we highly recommend Bulwark Exterminating of Schertz Texas. I started using bulwark early last year and had a good experience. The nightmare started in November when we had extensive damage from the wind and rains. We started clean up and rebuilding and didn't need the service during construction. I called and canceled. The next month they emailed that they were coming out to do a service and I called them again, emailed them and sent a letter to confirm the account was canceled. A week ago they emailed again for the monthly service. I called again to inform them this account is closed and would they please send me an email to confirm (as I had asked them to do the previous two times). A couple of days ago they billed my Visa for a service! They refuse to close my account or send an email confirmation. I've had to start a fraud investigation with my Visa company and will follow up with the Better Business Bureau and the SAPD. read more
