Bul-gogi gogi sandwich was awesome!! Very good food at a great price and the start - up atmosphere is fun to be involved in.

Really, really great food! We had K-POP Fries and Bul-gogi Tacos. Both were incredible!

This was a great find. For some reason, we had in mind that this was a sit down table service restaurant, which is not. But it didn't matter, it was great. We had the K Pop fries and the Mr Kim burger with a kimchi side. Both were fantastic The fries themselves were great - let alone the cool flavors on top. We got it with the spicy pork and it was a nice burn. Really tasty! The Mr Kim burger was also great- especially the egg. The service was great as well. Like everyone else says the K-POP fries are ridiculously good. You have to get them. The burgers are pretty delicious as well.

Can't put zero or I would. Cashier/ order taker wouldn't even acknowledge our presence until he was done staring into empty space. His lack luster attitude continued after I tried to order what was both advertised on the wall and their menu. "We don't have that anymore" was all he said. I suggested, perhaps removing the jumbo blown up framed picture on the wall. He merely stared. Once we completed our order we sat to wait. We saw a handsome man come in and cashier peeled up like his ass was on fire. He gushed over the man and flirted like a school girl while my friend and I were treated like the scourge of the earth. K this isn't even the bad part. We get home, I bite into my food and big long black hair was in my mouth!! I was mortified to say the least. I called the establishment and guess who answered? Why yes it's Mr lacking in customer service and I told him what was wrong he didn't seem to care. No apology and refused to put mngr on. Just went to Bumblebee's last night, 10/1/15. Chill place right off State Street. I read some other Yelp reviews prior to checking the place out and decided to go with the K-Pop fries with spicy pork. The total came to about $7+ dollars. I'm kind of a best bang for buck type of guy so if I'm spending that amount, it better be good. I mean, for that amount of $, I could get cafe rio burrito/salad, or little caesar's hot n ready plus bread sticks, or a foot long sub sandwich,etc. I have never spent $ just on fries before but with that price, I was expecting generous portions with tons of flavor. Well, let me tell you the flavor was tasty and right on par with the reviews I had read and the fries were cooked perfectly but the meat portions were severely lacking. I was disappointed and felt for the amount of money spent, these fries albeit tasty just aren't worth it. I wouldn't pay more than $4-$5 for the fries. Overpriced and overrated. I don't think I'll be returning. read more

Wow, this place has maintained good tasting food two years later!! I had the Mr Kim burger with a side of Kim Chi and thoroughly enjoyed it!! This was our first time eating here. It was delicious! I had the bulgolgi-golgi sandwich, loved it! My wife had the Bee-Bim-Bop and said it was also very good. The restaurant it self isn't high scale and doesn't have any real ambiance but it's clean, and the guys working there were very friendly. This food here did the job that I paid for it to do. It filled me up. As for quality, I'm surprised this place has as many stars as it does. I went for the yelp offer of a free dessert with purchase. That dessert was a small chocolate brownie slightly smaller than a deck of cards. They have an A menu and a K menu. A menu seems to be American where you find burgers and bbq. K menu is Korean. I decided to steer clear of this side of the menu. I'd like to think I'm adventurous with food but I've never had Korean food and I didn't even know if it was good, if I didn't trust the food here. Grabbed 3 burgers, one was supposed to have garlic in it but I don't think it did. One had bbq sauce on it, didn't know I ordered that. The one with blue cheese, I'd actually give that 3 stars, best burger out of the 3. Fries and Onion rings remind me of bowling alley food. It's a cute little place, well lit and the menu is simple, will I be back for the K menu? Unfortunately, probably not. read more

My girlfriend and I drive 20 minutes to get here and are almost there at least once a week. The food is amazing. The Mr. Kim burger and the K-pop fries are two of the best things on the menu but everything I've ever had there is good. The service is amazing with everyone there super nice and friendly. It was OK to me. I almost gave it four stars because I like the idea and I really want to like the restaurant. To me, the food was kind of served cold. I had one of the burgers, and my family got the traditional Korean dishes - the bibimbap. It seems like all the meat was pre-cooked because it was kind of stiff. Nothing spectacular to me. Maybe I was there on an off day, but if everything came out fresh and hot, it would have made a world of difference. This was based off of one visit. I was totally disappointed in the food. For a place that pretty much only has burgers on the menu they were frozen Sysco crappy meat patties. Also the tacos were made from super fatty meat and they were cold. Hot fatty meat is one thing. Cold fatty meat is disgusting. Nice concept but food needs work. read more

As an American who lived in Korea for a few years I can honestly say this is the best take on American-Korean hybrid food I have ever had. The Korean tacos, K-Pop fries, and even the Kimchi are absolutely on point. Portions are huge for the price. A definite must if you are in the south Salt Lake area. read more

The food was good though very messy. The staff was friendly. I wouldn't say it was my favorite sandwich, but it was tasty and definitely not your standard boring deli meat sandwich. I am always glad to see new foods come to Utah especial the south end of the valley. I had the Bulgogi (marinated beef) Sandwich and my co-worker had the Booldaak (spicy chicken) Sandwich. We were both satisfied with our choices though next time I am going to try the KP-Spicy (spicy pork) Sandwich. They present the sandwich open-faced and it is a good amount of filling that is quite moist. I am kind of torn because I like the soft bun that the sandwich is served on, but it gets kind of soggy with all the juices. Maybe if they toasted it may hold together a little better, but ultimately I liked the softness of the bun. This is definitely a place I will visit again. read more

I have to say when this place was first open the quality and quantity was great. It seems over time this has gone down. I do not understand why they don't give more fries and the food was either overcooked and not generous. Wish it was still the same. It also seems that if you come in when it's busy that's when the quality really takes a hit. I came here alone a few times and although the experience was not the same as before it was not as bad as it was with a group of people.
