The gift shop is expansive, but the best part is the ice cream and desserts that they sell in a separate section of the shop. Highly recommend the ice cream flight so you can try several flavors. Unless you can stomach a LOT of ice cream, I recommend sharing with other people. Loved the bumbleberry flavor which reminded me of blueberry ice cream but slightly different. The Bumble berry gift shop is a must to stop at when you are in the tourist town of Springdale, Utah. They have a variety of silly souvenirs, so if you are into the more weird, unique "gag gifts",then you have come to the right shop. On the front, it is also advertised that you should try their famous Bumble berry pie. This is the first time I have ever heard of a Bumble berry so I decided to give it a try. In the back of the gift shop, you will notice a small ice cream shop and a few tables. I was curious how the bumble berry pie would taste, so I decided on getting Bumble berry Pie a la mode, with bumble berry ice cream. Taste-wise, it reminded me of a mix between blueberry and blackberries, with the right amount of sweetness. From further research, "Bumble berry" derives from Canada, and is indeed not a real berry. It is assumed that bumble berry contains a mix of 'blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries'. Also I'm impressed that they gave us two thick slices of pie which I appreciated. But I must say the ice cream was preferable than the pie. However, I'm glad to have experienced such a unique pie and ice cream flavor. I also tried the Moose tracks ice cream, which was vanilla ice cream with chunks of chocolate with peanut butter filling, pretty delicious! I recommend their ice cream since it was creamy and a refreshing treat with Utah's 100+ degree weather. read more

Bumbleberry Pie!! As I was driving to Zion National Park, my eyes were immediately drawn to a sign that read "Home of the famous Bumbleberry Pie". I had never tried bumbleberry pie before so I knew that I'd be stopping in later. Kudos to the owners for putting that sign up. Totally got me to stop into their shop. Sure enough after exploring Zion National Park for most of the day, I dropped in with the family. Walked through the doors and there was tons of merchandise everywhere I looked. They carry all kinds of souvenirs plus so much more. If you can't find the souvenir of Zion National Park that you want here, then you probably will not find it anywhere else in Springdale. Of course, I did not stop in for souvenirs or gifts. I wanted me some Bumbleberry Pie!!!! I spotted their little cafe at the back of the gift shop. There was a display case filled with baked goods including Bumbleberry pie and other bumbleberry baked goods. In addition, they had ice cream!!!! One of the flavors they had was Bumbleberry!! Bought me two scoops of Classic Bumbleberry ice cream, and it did not disappoint. It was creamery smooth berry flavored ice cream that tasted great!! We bought a whole Bumbleberry Pie to go so we could share it at the hotel after dinner. So what did I think of the Bumbleberry pie? It was absolutely DELICIOUS!! I originally came here, back in 2020 to purchase a truker hat and few other souvenirs. Service and prices was on point. I received a lot of compliments on the hat, I purchased. It's a 3 on taste, but still worth a visit, as there aren't any other famed desserts in Springdale. According to local lore, It's made with berries from the "giggle bush." You'll have to read their huge billboard of a sign to find out the geographic details, *wink wink*. We ordered it with a scoop of their Angel's Landing ice cream, which is code for .... cookies 'n cream. My friends and I also spent a good chunk of time looking at their funny T-shirts ($10-$20; hello Grumpy Cat! and hello grumpy dinosaur shirts!), pillow ties, "grass" and animal-friendly slippers, stuffed animals (they went for around $10), cactus candies, magnets, key chains and souvenir penny machine. This shop has it all, including a delightful Bumbleberry pie (the bakery is located in the back right corner of the souvenir shop).This is exactly what a berry pie should taste like, fresh! The crust to berry filling ratio is perfect. I could have eaten the entire pie, it was that good. Instead, I came back the next day for a second slice. This time I decided to sit down in the diner. The server told me that they only serve bumbleberry pie in the gift shop bakery. The server then recommended the bumbleberry cobbler. It was served a la mode and topped with whipped cream. The cobbler was incredible. I ate every bite. I look forward to my future trips to Springdale, Utah; which will now include a post-hike slice of bumbleberry pie. An excellent end to a beautiful day. We came for the food and liked it so much we came twice during our trip. The pie a la mode for about $5 is an awesome deal. I'm not big into pie, but I loved theirs. It's a mixed berry pie. There was about 10 ice cream flavors to choose from. Our first day we got the cheesecake flavor and thought it paired perfectly with the pie. The second time we got a caramel one which was also good. We also bought their magic bar which is made with berries and some fudge. The price of the fudge was very reasonable especially if you buy 1.5 pounds as the half pound is free. The fudge also had about 10 flavors. Most were your standard like walnuts but they had a bumble berry flavor and it was really good. The shop itself has tons of souvenirs that are reasonably priced. This is one of the best places to get lemonade. We drove back from bryce canyon for extra 30 minutes just to get another lemonade before driving to Vegas. They have other sweet treats such as fudge and cookies. You won't go wrong with whatever you choose. They have been in business for about 100 years already according to the history posted on their wall. Location is great right before you enter Zion national park and parking is readily available. I purposely chose to come to this little gift shop for their bumbleberry desserts. After a long day of hiking Zion, we were in town to grab some lunch, and head back to our campground. The last place we went was here because I wanted some dessert! The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and prompt in helping us. He offered up samples of ice cream, or fudge, and we accepted with samples of fudge. The fudge was so tasty that both of my daughter's ended up choosing fudge as their sweet treat, hubby and I decided to try out the bumbleberry turnover, and two of the toffee cookies. I tasted my daughter's fudge and the butterscotch one is amazing!!! If you love butterscotch, you're going to love this!! Very sweet, but in a good way. My other daughter went with the sea salt one, and it was good as well, but the butterscotch one was better IMO. As for the bumbleberry turnover, I felt it was filled with a decent amount of fruit, not always the case with turnovers we've had. The Berry's are Huckleberry's, and various other kinds of berry. The icing on the top of the turnover was very good, I wish their had been more of it because without the bites with it the turnover was a little lacking. Overall it was o.k., I wouldn't get that particular bumbleberry item again. Maybe a pie hole which looked to have more icing on it. Lastly the toffee cookies. Yes!!! Having been serverly disappointed by the "famous" lemon cookie I bought over in Jacob Lake the day before, I was hoping for a cookie that would be just right, and the toffee cookie at Bumbleberry gifts hit the nail on the head! Crisp edges, soft flavorful middle with some chew, priced reasonably. This was the cookie I'd been after the night before, and it was the best dessert of the day. There you have it, the best item to get at this shop, with the contender being the Butterscotch fudge. Whatever you're craving, go here for dessert, you'll find something to love. read more

Adorable gift shop/ice cream shop/restaurant located in Springdale outside of Zion. We spent three nights in Springdale and 2/3 nights were spent getting pie and ice cream from here! I highly recommend them for a treat. The ice cream shop was clean and organized for smooth ordering. They have fresh squeezed lemonade. I ordered a lavender lemonade and my husband opted for regular. Both delicious and refreshing as we walked back to our hotel. There are coffee options, either hot or iced, and a great variety of other sweets. (Cotton candy, fudge, baked goods, etc). We also ventured around the gift shop and I got the most comfortable TEVA sandals. We picked up a few t shirts and other little odds and ends. If you're looking for hiking gear like packs, socks, sandals, hats, etc. they have it as well. How did we end up here 3 times on our trip?!? While we didn't actually purchase anything in the gift shop, I came here the first time because I'm a sucker for anything "world famous". And had no idea what a bumbleberry pie was. Initially, my wife and I shared a slice of bumbleberry pie. My wife is a huge fan of berries, and that was what a bumbleberry pie was. A mixed berry pie. Don't expect yourself to love this pie if you don't like berries, and expect this to change your mind. But if you do love berries, this is one of the best desserts you can have! After the first bite, I could see it in my wife's eyes. It was game, set, match. My waistline was going to get thicker, and the only thing that was getting slimmer was my wallet. We ended up going back there next day for another 2 slices of bumbleberry pie. (The lady who helped us recognized us from the previous day. Probably not her first time seeing return customers). And on our way back through Zion, we deliberately stopped again for more of that bumbleberry goodness. 4 stars for the giftshop since we didn't get anything. 5 stars for the 3 times we are bumbleberry pie there.
