We actually went here for the ice cream and it was superb! They don't have a lot of different flavors, but the two flavors we tried were especially good. We are picky about our ice cream and this is better than 90 percent of what you get in ice cream shoppes. We also tried several flavors of the fudge. The salted caramel fudge is delicious! They also have gifts and a lot of other stuff, but we were there for a snack after out packaged lunch and this really added an edge. The bumble berry pie should be "famous" for how bad it is. My sister bought a piece and brought back to share. Worst pie I have tasted. almost cracked a tooth on a seed. Crust was dry and flavorless. Had to spit it out, that's how much I didn't like it. The consensus was that a grocery store pie would have been better. my sister also said when she asked what was in the pie, the staff wouldn't tell her. Told her some nonsense about gigglebushes? ATTN: This place has ice cream! Bumbleberry Gift Shop is much more than a gift shop. There's an ice cream/coffee/fudge/hot chocolate/other dessert shop in the back with a few tables to sit and eat at. Ice cream and hot chocolate were rich and tasty. The best part, prices are reasonable. I paid 3.75 for a "double" ice cream cup that actually had 4 scoops in it. It's hard to beat that price anywhere, let alone in Springdale. With Springdale being the only town minutes from Zion, prices are steep (for reference.. I begrudgingly paid 18 dollars for two medium sized enchiladas earlier in the day, and 6 dollars for a 16 ounce nitro cold brew in the morning). Highly recommend Bumbleberry for anyone looking to get a dessert fix. They're also open till 10PM which is later than some of the other places in Springdale. OH - and the Bumbleberry is good! read more

The bumbleberry pie is fantastic. I have been going to my family's cabin on Kolob Mountain my whole life and we use to make frequent trips to Springdale to pick up a few pies. My Gramps use to get bumbleberry pie when he was growing up in Hurricane, as did my Grandma. The last time I remember getting one growing up I was probably a teenager. It wasn't until a few years ago (so probably 10 years or more since I had one), when I had the fiancee's family up to the cabin, that I decided to go get one. I talked it up so much that I thought I was going to disappoint everyone. Well, they were even better than I remembered growing up; nobody was disappointed. I make it a point to go get a few on the way home, even though it is at least an extra hour, as it is not on the way home to Vegas. Fun little place with the best prices on rocks! For real! This is where I bought all my little rock treasures to give as souvenirs. Their loose geodes, which are gorgeous and not at all skimpy on the crystal-to-rock ratio, are 95 cents each! I KNOW!!! I bought 5 of them. I also picked up a fossil in a polished stone for $6.99, a Peacock Copper piece for $1.95, an amethyst point for $2.50, a chunk of sandstone for 95 cents, and a bottle of "Real Salt" (which is amazing - ) for $4.99, way cheaper than I saw it anywhere else! They sell all sorts of souvenirs at all sorts of prices, a full lineup of bumbleberry products, lots of climbing/park clothing, footwear and equipment, and other supplies, travel necessities, and snacks. There's even a little cafe within the store! The staff (man cashier and younger salesgirl) was lovely! Great sense of humour ,gave us some local tips, and were just generally pleasant. This is a super fun store. We came here to get stamps and found lots of unique items/gifts/souvenirs. There's a dancing display shelf (about 10ft tall) that's just hilarious! I like their shoe store, where they sell lots of Crocs, echo-friendly, and really good shoes for hiking. The gift shop has really cool clothing souvenir (love the shirt-bib for babies). Ask about the story of the Bumbleberry - it's sooo funny! And ofcourse, don't forget to try the delicious bumbleberry pie! read more

I saw the same stickers and magnets from the Zion Lodge and Visitor Center that were cheaper here by $1.25-$2. However I think there were more magnets at the Visitor Center. I got duped by the sign outside saying World's Famous Bumbleberry Pie. Who can resist world famous anything? The cafe was pretty dingy and not as expected. The a la mode was actually pretty good, but there isn't anything special about this pie and I got bored reading the 8 paragraphs of fine print on the wall explaining what bumbleberries are. This is a frequent stop for me whenever I visit Zion. The people working here always friendly and accommodating. After a long hike 6ou just might owe it to yourself to indulge in some chocolate covered fruits or ice cream. It was fun trying to find the hidden food counter in the back of tons of touristic plastic. It commanded its own space within this random gift shop and once I found the attendant to help me everythang went smooth. He threw on a gigantic scoop of actually good vanilla ice cream to complete the bumbleberry pie.
