Our food and service was amazing and we didn't have high hopes, it was bar vibes and bar food normally is below par, plus I'm a chef so when I eat out I have high expectations this place with what appeared to be a limited menu met those expectations. Ordered chicken sandwich. Obviously it was frozen first and then they microwaved it and threw a few grill marks on it. It was SO tough and chewy I could only eat 1/2 of it. Tossed the rest. HH is a joke. No food and 50 cent of drinks. The rest of MB has good HH good/appetizers. Love this place! Stopped by on my first day of vacation and returned each following day. Good food, drinks, and such a great environment. Service wasn't outstanding, but it's a nice place to just grab some beverages and sit out on the lawn chairs to take in the view. Glad I discovered this place as it quickly became a favorite! I'm being very generous here because I want to believe that it was an off night for this place. My friend and I headed over to the Cafe because it was close to the hotel for dinner after the marathon. We were told that the kitchen was backed up and it would be at least an hour for food. That was the first red flag we ignored. We bellied up to the bar thinking the service would be better. Being so close to the bartender and wait staff, we got a glimpse into an insane night for this establishment. I'm not sure if they are poorly managed, under staffed, or simply inefficient. Every employee was frazzled and working their asses off. Ultimately, we only ordered drinks and got out of there. Most people would give this place one star. I just felt bad for everyone working there. The drinks were decent. I'm rooting for them. read more

Food was just ok. We ordered chicken Philly sandwich, club sandwich and shrimp tacos. Shrimps were cold and over cooked, club was decent and the chicken Philly was tasteless. The location of this place has to be its crowning jewel. It's RIGHT on the beach and a short walk from many hotels. It was packed when we went there and the service was still great. The photographer gave us a free postcard and offered us an absurd package for more pictures but it all added to the experience. We were able to just laugh it off I got a bacon cheeseburger and she got a grilled chicken sandwich! Both very good. We had just flown in and this place was close to our hotel. We had a few hours to kill and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating putting us at a table that had room for our suitcases. My receipt says her name was Ashley K., but I can't be sure because I was so busy shooting the breeze with her! We've been to the high end in Myrtle Beach, but this is by far my favorite so far and it is such a hole in the wall place, but don't judge that book by its cover-go inside and try the food! This place was better than I thought it was gonna be! They have an outside covered area which was nice to feel the breeze but not too much. They had someone singing which was nice. The restaurant was cute and on the water. The food was pretty good. I got the club sandwich with fries and the fries were cooked crispy which was good. They give you a good amount of fries too. But as we were walking out we were yelled and cussed by someone. I turned around and it was David Fair, the entertainment for the night for Bummz. He was accusing us of touching his truck. This place was not very good. I would have given it one and a half stars. Service was bad. I went there for lunch and tried the Club sandwich with chips and the Grilled Chicken Salad. The club was below average and the grilled chicken salad was the worst I've ever had. If this place is known to be more of a bar, then I'm not sure how they survive because the margaritas were awful here. Overpriced, watered-down, and weak. We sat outside waiting for our check for over 15 minutes. I never said anything to our server but that is ridiculous. When we were walking out, I noticed the place had filled up. Did these people know what they were getting themselves into? I'm going to assume they didn't. I would rather go to a fast-food restaurant than dine here again. read more

We ordered takeout from here our first night in Myrtle Beach. We walked our dog to the restaurant and took our food back to our room. It was about a twenty minute walk. We ordered the grouper fingers, clam chowder, and jerk chicken tacos. I was worried about the time it took for us to get back to our hotel and eat our food but everything was delicious. The grouper fingers were my favorite. The clam chowder was creamy and so good. I ordered a frozen pina colada to go with my food. It hit the spot. Great beginning to our vacation. We stumbled upon this cute little place - since the restaurant we had planned to go to had too long of a wait. We were able to get right in. It's right on the beach! The patio/bar area was cute and had a great view of the ocean. We had grouper fingas, shrimp tacos, chicken fingers, grilled cheese and hamburger. Everyone was happy with their dinner! Had lunch here today and the vibe was awesome and so was the view. Quick service and plenty of outside seating if that's what you want. Staff was friendly and attentive but not annoyingly so. I had the fried shrimp sandwich and it was very good. I wasn't crazy about the roll it was on which was basically a hamburger bun but it was delicious. Love the party vibe in this beachfront place. You can sit on the patio, maybe in an Adirondack chair, and watch the ocean. Staff are all super friendly and good at what they do. It's like they're there to support your fun and encourage a good time with a positive and upbeat demeanor.
