It seems like a good relaxed place to grab a bite and enjoy some music or karaoke. Unfortunately the kitchen had an issue and the late night menu was offered early. There was then a delay in getting our food which was average at best. I would suggest that they develop a better way to get a table when it's busy. Maybe take a number for the next available table instead of scouting out the next table to pay the check. read more

This looks like a great place to eat and drink. However the waitress was horribly rude and the food gave me food poisoning. I had the fish tacos on a cold tortilla the fish was also cold I then spent 2 days throwing up out of both ends. I will never be back and the BBB and the food inspector needs and will be notified. Quarterdeck beach view on location where we stayed. Menu we ordered the fish nuggets, wings, loaded tots, 2 combo that was flounder and fried shrimp. 2 drinks Cabana Colada it was awesome double shots. It was so much that we had to take back but next day was just like ordered the first day including fries amazing worth coming back. Service was good and timely. So the food is typical fried food. However this place has an amazing outdoor view and the waitress we had was super kind friendly and helpful. If you like cats they have a colony of feral cats that walk around the place. There are signs that say not to feed them but people do. Our waitress just said they ask not to because while some people love cats others don't. Buy they're not aggressive and seem to know who they can get attention from And who to avoid. You can only get there if you are camping at Ocean Lakes or the resort. But the convention of driving to the corner of the campground on a golf cart and not having to worry about having a drink is worth every penny. My 4 stars is for everything wrapped into this great little hole in the wall. read more

Drink prices are good. There are entertainment options almost every night. It is family friendly. They don't have many food options, but I did like the blackened fish (everything else is fried). We had a bartender one night that just seemed EXTREMELY bored. That wasn't fun. And he was eating food while working. But he did say he was the manager. On a different night we had a bartender we liked named Bruno. He was very friendly. Regardless of anything, we will keep coming back. It is on the ocean and has a ramp up to it for the handicapped folk. Back here on another night for bingo: we totally had fun! However, I can't change my review. The bartender/manager was cranky, eating food behind the bar, and telling people to leave at 7:48pm because he had a hot date.... really??!!! Someone was smoking inside also. But the bartender/manager is asking people to leave. That is BIZARRE to me!!!! We (all of us) are getting thrown out because the bartender has a hot date. Wow! All I can say is WOW!!! We came in for lunch. Ordered the fish bites and mozzarella sticks. The sticks weren't that great but the fish bites were on point. Huge serving and could've been a meal by itself. I ordered the fish and chips. I received 4 nice size pieces of cod. Served with fries and coleslaw. Slaw was ok but the fish was outstanding. It's a good beach bar. The food is good. Wings were good n fries were fantastic!! They have music or karaoke each night so it's a fun time. It's on Mrytle Beach Resort grounds so don't know if you can go to bar if not staying at the resort. Nothing special here! The food is okay, definitely a good bar for the Myrtle Beach Resort. Don't go there with your hopes up, though. Make sure you read the menu and what's in the food - quesadillas have olives and stuff in it. Well to start the bartender was rude, drinks good. .Service was good, however the fact that me and a few people in my group witness a older man which seems to be a frequent customer with one of his friends taking pictures of a young womans butt when she was looking the other way ordering a drink and then the guy starts showing it to people in his party. Which I thought was very untasteful and uncalled for. So I made the server aware of the issue and her response was (I'm sorry but there's nothing that I can do we are on a beach) so I said that's where you're wrong we are at a place of business. Went here for lunch today. My wife and I split the blackened flounder basket with fries. We had a couple of beers and the total wasn't too bad. You have a beautiful view and service was good. Product is below average: The food and drinks were a disappointment. We ordered fish tacos, which came out actually as wraps with mostly cheese and a tiny piece of fish. The flies were horrendous, and we ended up clearing our own table just to get rid of them at the end of the meal. The moonshine drinks were tasty but pretty much all frozen mix, so we added a rum topper which helped the taste. The only reason this place deserves 3 stars is because of the location- beach front, you really can't beat it. The atmosphere is nice, our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and they had a great acoustic musician who was killing it. Not much to say it's a dive bar on the beach with so-so food at steep waterfront prices served by a miserable staff who would rather see you leave than offer you a smile, The second star has been awarded due solely to location and view.. The location is beautiful with freshwater ponds populated by turtles nearby. Unfortunately food is served with plasticware individually wrapped in sealed plastic quickly ends up blowing into the pond given the open deck atmosphere. We were able to quickly contain our wrappers from the wind before they blew away and when we asked our waitress if there was a place to put them she looked at us as if we were the first people ever to harve asked the question. Management seems to have turned a stiff nose to environmental responsibility which is unfortunate since it's right next to the Atlantic Ocean as well as these freshwater ponds. read more

We ate here twice in October 2013. Everything was phenomenal. This fish and chips are fresh daily. The Bam Bam shrimp is a large portion and the spicy bam bam sauce is good on anything. We are staying at the resort. Pleasantly surprised to find a resort restaurant with reasonable prices. Beach access too for those that are walking along the beach. Beautiful view, quiet beach. Plenty of seating. Breakfast sandwich is great. Lunch was very nice too. Cod nuggets were lightly battered and not greasy. Fish taco could stand a rework..it was more like a fish burrito rather than taco. Wings good. Crab cake sandwich was good size with nice slab of tomato, however was a little thin. Would recommend making it a slider with a thicker crab cake, increase the price a bit and offer 2. Mixed drinks pack a punch.
