This place was busy, which made it very loud. Our server was hustling!! We ordered the fish tacos. One was a bit tough and the other was fine. The slaw that came on top of the taco was able to mask the toughness of the first taco I had. Cute, busy spot on the water with plenty of parking.

First off I can't believe I haven't left a review before. I have been to this spot many times and it's one of my families fav places to go to celebrate an event or to just venture out. Oysters are always great especially the sweet waters. We have some usual menu items we tend to get one of those is the Cesar salad - but this time it's different. Not chopped but whole leaves with garlic breadcrumbs and anchovy dressing. I don't like the change there are no whole anchovies and the dressing is mild compared without it. The breadcrumbs just made for a messy experience as you're trying to cut the large leaves. Tasty but if it remains like this I will not order again. Oysters are always great and we tried the grilled this time - chipotle honey butter and the nori miso butter both amazing !! I had the clam spaghetti which was great but wish they added some toasted bread to soak up all that sauce. Bloody Marys are really great as well. Happy hour is great to grab oysters ! Miss the canned fish but overall great spot great food and will continue to come here.

If you love fresh oysters pulled right out of the bay- sustainably from the source; clam chowder, shrimp & Tomales Bay Mussels-Hog Island is your go-to & I say that from the bottom of my heart & stomach! Busy w/good service & worth a visit! As an aside check out their website for some memorable history to add tonight he flavor that is this remarkable company & history: "Strong backs and weak minds" was our early motto in July of 1983 when we planted our first oyster seed in Tomales Bay, CA. We started with a five-acre shellfish lease, a handful of spat, and a headful of dreams. Marine biologists by day, oyster farmers by night, and everything else in between just to stay afloat. With partners John Finger and Terry Sawyer at the helm, Hog Island Oyster Co. has grown to become one of the premier producers of certified sustainable shellfish. With 160 acres in Tomales Bay and 90 acres in Humboldt Bay, we harvest and sell over 5 million oysters and Manila clams each year.

I always go to hog island and get their Calabrian chili oysters and will recommend it to anyone! I have also tried their fish tacos which taste great. The only thing I would say is that this last time I went I tried their clam chowder and was not a fan at all. I am used to a thicker form, their clam chowder was watery milk with potatoes, clams etc... it came with no bread either (I think if you wanted bread you need to pay an extra $2-$3) you will NOT get full with this dish either so for the price I think it should include even a small side of bread. There was an okay amount of clams. (1/5 rating for the chowder). Overall the many times I have gone to this place I almost always say it's worth it I just 100% do not recommend the chowders The service is always great as well as the whole vibe of the place.

We had a great experience at Hog Island overall. The seating inside is close quarters but the outdoor seating is spacious. We ordered the oysters and fish tacos -- the oysters were very fresh and definitely the highlight of the meal. The fish tacos were tasty, but they could have used more fish, as the portions felt a bit light compared to the tortillas. The pickled onion was perfect. Everything was good, just not quite perfect. Solid spot for fresh oysters, and we'd come back for those alone. The service was good but not overly impressive-- food and drinks came out quickly.

Love Hog Island! Usually go to the Napa location. First time at Larkspur. Everything was delicious as usual. We got the clam spaghetti, clam chowder, 4 for $18 grilled oysters and a side salad. For the grilled oysters, we chose the chipotle sauce. It was delicious..sweet but tangy. The dressing on the salad was good. The service was good. The restaurant was a bit smaller; however, had outdoor seating. I think I prefer the ambiance of the Napa location better.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night, and it did not disappoint! Service was incredibly quick, and we were able to get a table immediately. It was a bit rainy, so we sat inside. The vibes were great. This is a def a great place for people to meet up and have a good conversation! We ordered few items to share: Jingleberry shrub: well I didn't share this one haha , but this is a delicious non alcoholic beverage. I told myself no drinking tonight, but I am sure their alcoholic options are good as I seen a lot of people sipping on some. 10/10 Raw oysters: very very good. i really enjoyed the high water oyster the most, but it all tasted fresh. Wish I asked for more lemon though! 9/10 Steamed REI mussels: delicious! a ton of butter as the base. I was super excited for the honey nut squash, but there weren't as much as I thought. the mussels were SO GOOD and the flavoring of everything was great! 10/10 Rustic Seafood Stew: our server recommended this dish to us, and we listened! so happy we went with this dish because it is so so so good! The tomato taste was SO GOOD! we cleared this dish up and left it completely empty. highly recommend people trying! 10/10 Lobster bisque: lots of lobster pieces and super creamy! it was perfect for a cold day out! 9/10 Overall, love love love my experience here. Our total came out to $130, which I would say is worth! I would come back to this location in Larkspur.

This is my first time at a hog island and I loved it! It was way less crowded than the Ferry Building location - there was no wait on a Sunday afternoon for an outdoor table. I was nervous about parking, but it was super easy to find spots in the shopping malls lot. There's plenty of heated outdoor seating which was great since we brought our dog. For food we ordered some baked oysters, lobster bisque, and seafood stew. I loved the flavors of the oysters and the were succulent and juicy. The lobster bisque was a little cold and too heavy on the cream for me. The seafood stew was classic, and great for sharing. Overall had a great experience, and would come back if I'm craving oysters again!

My waiter was amazing! Highly recommend the grilled Oyster mix I had the chance to try all flavors! My favorite was the calabrian chili garlic oil & the nori miso butter! Chipotle was good but not as good as the other two. Try all ! It's delicious . This is a good date night option, will it break the bank ?yes but it was HELLA GOOD ! It was worth every penny!

I'm OBSESSED with Hog Island Oyster over at the ferry building, so I was super excited to see another location when I was in the Larkspur area! It was a nice, sunny day so we opted to sit on their front patio. I visited with my BF and we weren't too hungry; we were just stopping by for the vibes lol. We got 6 oysters and an order of clam chowder to share. Hog Island Oyster's clam chowder is my fav! Regarding the food: the oysters were DELICIOUS. They ran out of kumamotos so we just went with the "variety pack" of whatever they had available. Every single piece was plump and buttery smooth. Not too briny! The chowder fell a little flat on the other hand... it just lacked the amount of depth that I loved so much from the other location. They're located in Marin County Mart so they're surrounded by a good amount of stores if you're planning on hanging around in the area too! Service was okay, it was difficult finding someone to help us when it came to getting the bill, ordering, etc. (possibly because we were outside?) -- there was a small bee that was flying alllll over our table and that was quite the experience too haha.

I can't believe I've been sleeping on this restaurant. We often frequent the Hog Island location in Tomales Bay to pick up bulk oysters, but just never had the chance to check out the restaurant until recently. I totally regret not going sooner. Come to this restaurant if you're craving deliciously fresh and clean seafood. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The only amenity lacking here is that they don't have a bathroom in the restaurant itself. You'll have to make the trek to the plaza's public bathroom that's a short walk away. Just a slight inconvenience. My favorites here are the Kumamoto oysters, baked oysters for a twist, and the steamed mussels. The one dish that blew us away the most were the mussels. They were large, juicy, and bathed in a succulent herby white wine sauce. These mussels were literally the best I've ever had, and I still think about them randomly as the months go by.

-- Ambiance -- 4/5 The interior gave me a seaside oyster/alcohol bar vibe. Few flies flying around. Everything seems clean and organized. Have unique design. The books on top is a nice addition to the restaurant design. -- Service -- 4/5 I walked into the restaurant. I wasn't sat by the waiter. I had to ask the front desk where should I sit. Then they proceed to tell me to " sit wherever" The Waiters was quite attentive. asked how I was doing. The oyster plucker even asked if I was helped yet. -- Food -- 3/5 Dish Ordered: Sonoma Burger 2/5 Taste: Disappointment. The Meat quality was not there. Not firm. Mushy. and Not Juicy. I even taste some burnt flavor. Which is past the " sear and smoky taste " The meat was not seasoned properly. The sauce was a bit lacking in the amount put into it as well as the taste. It did come with fries. Honestly that was the best part. Nice solid crunchy fries. Smell: Neutral Presentation: Little Lacking. Nothing special. Dished Ordered: Hog Island Clam Chowder 4.5/5 Taste: This tasted very delicious. Very Milky and Buttery. Nice balance of seafood and vegetable. Good amount of clams. The vegetable inside the was chopped finely into pieces and went very well with the soup. Small Potatoes was a great addition to the soup. Nicely Seasoned. I thought this was an appetizer but after drinking this I was pretty full. I do wish a tad bit thicker. Little bit watery for me. Smell: Neutral Presentation: Wonderful. Spectacular Additional Comments: If you ever want some clam chowder. This place is quite good. Overall Rating : 4.0

I've been to other Hog Island locations and had a much better experience, but the Larkspur spot was disappointing. The grilled oysters came out overcooked and still somehow managed to make us feel sick afterwards (nausea, stomach issues). The clam chowder had good flavor but was way too thin--closer to a soup than chowder. I also tried the burger, which wasn't very filling or memorable. On top of that, the beer selection was pretty limited, service felt lackluster, and the bill included a 5% "employee wellness" fee, which of course is extortion. For the price, I expected much better. Sadly, I can't recommend this location.

Hi there! The first two bottles are $20 each. The next two bottles would be $40 each.

Are dogs allowed on the outdoor patio?

Yes, they are! :) Brought a husky there, which they said was totally fine.

She was super accommodating and attentive without being overbearing. Once we told her what we liked, she immediately knew what to recommend and guided us through the menu perfectly. You can tell she knows her stuff. We came specifically for happy hour (we're definitely HH aficionados) and made it our mission to try everything on the menu. While the chips & dip were good, they're something you can find elsewhere, so not necessarily a standout. Everything else, though? OUTSTANDING! The hummus, whipped feta, and muhamarra were next-level--easily some of the best we've had. The CN burger sliders were also a hit--we had one each and they were so yummy that next time my husband is already planning on getting two. The drinks were on point. The espresso martinis absolutely fueled our afternoon in the best way, and we also tried the creamsicle cocktail and the shrimp Za'atar from the regular menu--both were super delicious in their own way. The ambiance was great, and the bartender was clearly on top of things, which always adds to the overall vibe. One thing worth noting: happy hour is now only offered Monday-Thursday, but Sydney was kind enough to honor it for us on Saturday since the website hadn't been updated yet. That level of service really sealed the deal for us. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish--great food, great drinks, and even better service. Easy five stars.

I love the success they are having, but a recent visit was so crowded, we had to involve the host just to find our waitress when some of our food didn't arrive. She never returned to check on us. It was a weekend, loud and full to capacity and we had fallen off her radar for over half an hour. It seems with the success, Corner Bar may be at a crossroads: deciding whether to focus on the high energy and crowds or on the great service and positive experiences that keep customers coming back.

It was rich, flavorful, and a wonderful surprise that more than satisfied the craving. The cooling sangria was exactly what we needed on a warm Napa afternoon. Refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet, it paired beautifully with the relaxed atmosphere and felt like the perfect way to unwind before our flight home. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate mousse, which was perfect for a warm Napa afternoon. It struck a wonderful balance between light and indulgent, with a rich chocolate flavor that never felt too heavy. It was the kind of dessert that leaves you satisfied without slowing you down, making it the perfect treat before a long walk through Napa or heading to the airport. The service was a little shaky, but overall we greatly enjoyed our evening! Food & Drink: We joined the waitlist when we arrived, and got some drinks while we waited in the bar. We really liked our cocktails, with the Margarita and Aperol Spritz being two highlights. Once seated, we ordered the Shishito Peppers, Pear Pizza, and Olive Pizza. The peppers were nicely cooked and salted, and they paired well with our drinks. The pear pizza was surprisingly delicious with gorgonzola, nuts, and some leaves. The olive pizza was also good with its' greek inspired toppings of feta cheese, olives, and red peppers. For dessert we tried the affogato and Bocce dessert, which were both good. Though my affogato had mostly melted on arrival. Service & Ambiance: The only issue we encountered was the service. Our evening got off to a slightly bumpy start because the waitlist notification was sent to my phone's spam folder, meaning I wasn't notified and we almost missed our opportunity to be seated. For this reason, it would be good if staff could check the bar before removing customers from the waitlist (I told them that we would be waiting in the bar, which is a short distance from the host desk). Another issue was that the pizzas took a long time to come out. Fortunately, management made it up to us by giving us a free salad and free meatballs. This was a classy gesture and definitely helped! (Hopefully this was just a one-off situation). Finally, I was surprised by the amount of kids at this establishment. Considering this is prominently marketed as a bar, there was quite a lot of unruly children running (and climbing) about, which did affect the ambiance somewhat. Management may want to consider whether allowing children is worth it, as they somewhat spoil the lovely waterside ambiance. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would come again!

Servers were frequently walking around attending to all the tables. We loved everything we ate except the tuna ( we didn't like the sauce) the tuna was great we just didn't like the sauce For drinks we had the Garden Fizz, Paloma, and Lycheetini. All wonderful For food we had : charcuterie board, prawn cocktail ( HUGE prawns and my second favorite dish), ahi tuna tataki, chicken adobo tacos and the Prosciutto flatbread ( my favorite!) For dessert we shared the Ube Crème Brûlée I wanted to try the house made chips cause they looked delicious but I was too full. Definitely a great place to come and celebrate!

It was seat yourself and we found cozy lounge seating overlooking the city at sunset. I definitely recommend sunset, but any time would be spectacular! While we easily found a seat, I could see it being busy. Service was quick. We each ordered a cocktail and the tuna tataki. The cocktails were great and the tuna was delicious and a solid portion size. While it is pricy, it's worth it for the experience. We were staying at the hotel and had a daily foo and beverage credit which was perfect to use at the View.

The polli papas were delicious and comforting. The chicken was juicy and flavorful with nicely seasoned skin, while the fries were crispy and perfect for dipping into the sauces. The empanadas were a great starter. It's golden, flaky, and filled with savory, well-seasoned ingredients. The truffle mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and indulgent with a nice truffle aroma that wasn't overpowering. It was the perfect comfort-food side and paired surprisingly well with the chicken. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, and the food arrived quickly. The vibe is energetic and inviting, with a modern atmosphere that's great for both casual lunches and dinner outings. It feels lively without being overwhelming, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with flavorful food, great service, and plenty of comforting dishes. I'd definitely come back to try more of their Peruvian specialties.

Ruined a Father's Day celebration over hidden fees We…read morebrought a large group here for a Father's Day dinner and spent over $700 on our meals. While the food was fine, the restaurant's sneaky charging practices and lack of communication completely ruined the celebration. To celebrate, we brought in a special Father's Day dessert from Julie's Cakes. We explicitly asked our server for spoons to eat it. Instead of being upfront and letting us know there would be a charge, the staff said absolutely nothing and just quietly tacked an "outside dessert fee" onto our final bill. When we looked at the menu to find where this was stated, we saw it buried in microscopic fine print at the absolute bottom of the page (image.png). For a table spending $700, sneaking a fee onto the bill without a verbal heads-up--especially when we directly asked for utensils--is incredibly tacky and poor customer service. They cared more about nickel-and-diming us over a couple of plates than providing good hospitality for a family holiday. Disappointing experience, to say the least. Including the fact that it was a holiday dessert really drives home how rigid and unaccommodating their service was. Are you planning to post this on Yelp, Google, or directly to their social media page?

From the moment I sat down, the warm glow of the dining room, lively energy, and inviting aromas drifting from the kitchen set the tone for an exceptional evening. The cocktails were outstanding. The Ojos Así was beautifully balanced, with bright, refreshing notes layered over deeper, more complex flavors that unfolded with each sip. Its vibrant presentation and fragrant aroma made it as enjoyable to admire as it was to drink. Equally impressive was the Y El Hombre Caimán, a bold and expertly crafted cocktail bursting with character, combining rich flavors and a silky texture while remaining remarkably approachable. Both were the kind of cocktails that make you slow down, savor every sip, and appreciate the artistry behind them. For the main course, the Costilla Negra was the star of the table. Perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy, the short rib featured a beautifully caramelized exterior that gave way to tender, flavorful meat. Each bite delivered a satisfying balance of richness and refinement, while the thoughtfully plated accompaniments added contrasting textures and complementary flavors that elevated the dish even further. What truly elevated the experience was the service. Rhi, tending bar, was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the cocktail program. Her recommendations were spot on and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. She is a true master at her craft. Jackie, our server, was equally fantastic--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel like valued guests throughout the meal. Parche combines exceptional Colombian cuisine, creative cocktails, and hospitality that leaves a lasting impression. Between the vibrant atmosphere, beautifully presented dishes, and memorable flavors, it's the kind of place that reminds you why dining out can be such a joy. I will absolutely be returning. One of my most memorable experiences in Oakland.

The vibrant, welcoming energy of the space set the perfect tone for a celebratory family gathering, and the food was spectacular from start to finish. Every single dish we ordered hit the mark: The Ceviche: Incredibly fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced--the ultimate way to kick off the meal. The Plantains: Perfectly executed with that ideal contrast of texture and rich flavor. The Branzino Salad: A total standout. The fish was beautifully prepared, light, and paired wonderfully with the crisp, refreshing greens. The Comunitario Rice: Deeply flavorful, comforting, and perfect for sharing across the table. Celebrating a special occasion with family means you want great food, a lively atmosphere, and seamless hospitality, and Parche delivered on all fronts. It was a fantastic Father's Day meal, and we will definitely be back!
