    Peach brioche French toast
    Meredith L.

Went to Bumps for brunch recently since it's right in my neighborhood! Liked the flavor of the crab Benedict, very tasty and a perfect little crunch on the cake! The peach brioche French toast was HUGE as noted, warm, soft, and gooey we also got the breakfast burrito. Some of the dishes came with potato on the side which were solid but didn't seem too fresh and could've used a bit more hollandaise sauce on the benedict. But a nice quiet Sunday morning brunch with family and friends

Dined @ Bumps today and it was Phenomenal!!! I had the tenderloin, and it was the BEST tenderloin I have ever had. My friend had the chicken salad and she really LOVED it. I LOVE the decor of this place and service was excellent. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped here for tenderloins on the tenderloin trail. We were seated promptly in the bar area. The tenderloin was thick and juicy. Little actual flavor in the breading or tenderloin itself. The mustard was excellent. Fries lacked crunch or flavor. The tenderloin had quite a bit of fat/gristle. Wouldn't make my top 14 in Iowa, but if you have some pull in Iowa City/Coralville I suppose you get what you want!

Hand breaded/marinated chicken strips were delicious.

The service is excellent- their patio is large and not cramped, very shady too. Good place to relax & grab a drink. Prices very reasonable. Service 5 stars!

Great view from the outdoor seating area at Bump's Restaurant.

Fast friendly service. Great view. Delicious food. The patio is a nice open space. Would recommend.

    Chicken bacon with pesto sauce

Stoped In and Pizza was added to the menu. My chicken bacon ranch was delicious. Service is always great! The Golf Course is the best part! Such a beautiful site to see!

Chocolate cake for dessert! So delicious and was big enough for 3 to share

We recently stopped by Bumps on the "Conquer the Tenderloin Trail 2.0". This is stop #13 on the trail and to this point one of my favorite stops! Located on a golf course, the restaurant felt very clean and modern. The service was very kind and chatted with us very friendly while we waited for our food to-go. Everything was delicious! The pork tenderloin so far as been my favorite of any stop on the trail (will keep you posted on our progress). All of the food here was so well prepared and the portions were so large! We even tried a chocolate cake which was the perfect way to end the meal and the day I can't wait to return here and happily recommend this place for both food and hospitality.

My lady and I stopped in while visiting my dad, and we were seated and greeted quickly. However, it took quite a while--about 10 minutes--for our server to come back and take our orders. To be fair, they did seem a bit understaffed for the number of guests. We ordered the Woodbury and Dickinson chicken sandwiches. Both were pretty average, with the Dickinson being the better of the two. Surprisingly, the French fries ended up being the highlight of the meal--not something I normally feel the need to mention, but they stood out more than the entrées. One thing to note: bring your own condiments. They charge $1 for a small ranch cup, which was a bit of a letdown. Overall, I'd probably skip Stella's when visiting Iowa City.

Ash accommodated our need for separate checks (for us each to bill for our meal). She was attentive and pleasant. I asked her what she liked better between a couple of things and she gave me an honest answer. I followed her recommendation, The beet salad was lovely. the dressing had some goat cheese in it and was delicious. The fresh beets on the side really worked with the dressing. My friend got the cheese platter to start and there was lots of cheese. He loved it. He got the lounge version of the salmon, which he thought was great. I got the Artic Char, which was delicate and phenomenal. It was topped with pieces of lobster and caviar like eggs. The fish was delicate and the sauce rich, but not overpowering. It was delightful.
