I recently had a problem with my gate lock rusted shut and was unable to open it. I am a senior citizen and a widow so wasn't sure what to do or who to call. I called Bunce Rental on Meridian and was lucky enough to get Jim Barbour on the phone. He was so helpful and told me what I needed and when I went in to pick up the tools for the job he explained how to use it . What great customer service! Fantastic experience at this location today!! Phenomenal selection, seriously complete full service of almost every category of trade and tool or equipment I could think of available for rent. We rented a concrete saw that did the job in less than two hours. We found a gas leak and had to cut a trench in our concrete patio slab. The amount of stress relieved by being able to work so quickly and be in and out - with this location was unparalleled. The staff did a great job and were extremely professional and on top of things which as busy parents we highly appreciate. We rented a large stair climbing dolly to move our 800 lb safe from the puyallup location. On our way to get the dolly we encountered 3 accidents along hwy 16 and I5. They closed at 5PM and we were feeling awful due to our delay. I called them and asked that they wait for us- they agreed to. We drove in at 1659 and people greeted us outside with the dolly and a gracious fun loving attitude. They loaded the dolly and processed the paperwork quickly. Rent a pressure washer to do miscellaneous items in the yard driveway and deck included . when picked up the equipment I got directions that were easy to follow , the equipment worked seamlessly the entire time I had it . as a woman it is important to have equipment that does not have any issues or problems as I do not have the expertise to make it work. I needed a heavy duty trailer to move some Hardieplank siding. Tried to get it set up for about a week and a half but their only trailer that would work was in for maintenance. Finally got a date, reserved it and set the pickup date with James Hardie. When I called to confirm pickup I was informed the brakes were bad on the trailer. I was pressed for the trailer at this point since I already set the pickup time. Sean and the guys at Bunce came through big time at this point. They rented me a flat bed truck (which was twice the price of the trailer) for the same price as the trailer with no mileage or fuel charge! Needless to say they saved the day. After traveling 20 miles to rent a difficult to find concrete trailer, I was told by a rude and condescending clerk that my 345hp Z-71 Tahoe was not adequate to tow the trailer?! It is adequate and can easily tow over DOUBLE the weight of a yard of wet concrete, but he claimed his insurance company wouldn't allow it. I will never do business with these jerks and recommend the same to anyone who asks. read more
