On a Saturday, I found myself in a bind. While attaching a trailer to be transported cross country, I noticed that it had been incorrectly loaded. The only way to resolve this? I needed a forklift to get this nonsense straightened out. After making too many phone calls, I came across Jennings Equipment in Puyallup, and spoke directly to Andrew. Once he understood what my situation was. Advised me to bring it there if possible, and they would assist me with straightening out the situation. I managed to get the trailer and its wonky load to their store, and he personally took the time to help me (with a forklift), and organize it in a way that was legal and safe. Andrew's customer service was second to none. As my teenagers would say, props and a shout out, he absolutely nailed it when it came to helping resolve this issue. read more

Great service! Bought a Rototiller and the Sales Advisor named Paul gave us excellent customer service. Called ahead to place an order regarding a model over $3,000 and they had it built and ready for pick up in an hour! When we got to the location, they helped us load it into our cargo van and did the paperwork quickly. Pretty reasonable prices and service was very good! Definitely recommendable. read more

I went in for the first time to buy something for my stihl weed eater Jaime Diaz was very patient, knowledgable and professional with all my questions and the fact that he speaks spanish made my visit easier to explain and get what I needed. On my second visit he went above and beyond with his service, I needed to buy something for my blower, which you had in store, but I told him I didn't know how to install it. He very nicely offered to help me install it which he didn't have to do. What took him a few minutes to install would have taken me all day and I probably would've done it wrong. Jennings web site touts Honda repair experience. I called to confirm they could repair & preform maintenance on a Honda driven pressure washer. Explained & wrote out maintenance requests at drop off. Four days later received a call that all tasks had been completed. Payed for maintenance, then they introduced me to my Honda. I moved the machine to find the wheel had fallen off. (at drop off i requested a new retainer clip be placed on wheel.) Looked at the invoice to find all labor costs had been lumped into one dollar amount for several different repairs. I explained to Dale, dept. mgr. that their call explained all had been complete & if he could 'nd fix it i would like a return on labor costs that were listed; invoice indicated that 'right wheel missing retaining clip had been replaced'. Dale said, "See that's why I don't want to accept repair orders on pressure washers." "say, WHAT!? I know, if your confused imagine what i was thinking with a response like that to my request for reimbursement #!@* This is a person Jennings Equipment places in charge! And, that's where he left it!?! I felt..Ripped off, Yea!..However I felt more like I needed a shower after that experience. To add insult to injury, unlike my drop off experience when staff assisted this 70 yr. old lift pressure washer off of my truck...Dale & co. left me to lift the 60 lb's of machine on my truck myself. A very sad state of affairs...Integrity is not number #1 at Jennings Equipment! At least it's not defined in Dale's book. ;-( "Caveat Emptor"!! read more

Updating my Review, They sold me a Lawn mower. It was Covid times, So I just couldn't run in and check it out. So I had them deliver it, after 10 hours of use. They tell me. They don't sell that type Mower anymore, no help from them. Pushed me off. I had to bring it to Sumner Lawn and saw. They said it needs new filters and stuff from sitting. Changed the fuel and it's running now. I will go to Sumner Lawn and Saw for now on. Jenning's Equipment dose not take care of there Customers. read more

The quick version.... they suck at customer service and Chris (a manger of something) was our biggest disappointment. Don't bother. Go somewhere.....ANYWHERE else. We are pretty easy going. We ourselves are business owners and understand the dynamics of running a business & the control/range we have when while dealing with customers. Its about quality & all in customer service! They handled our minor return less than professional and below helpful. We didn't discuss the mower because that's on our employees and how much/well it's used. But. It is a POS. Longer version: We purchased a Husqvarna lawn mower just 2 seasons ago from here. We have several types of mowers and understand the maintenance required and are happy to do all of that on our own. This mower needed maintenance. It was time and we thought we understood what it needed. We bought off the parts off the shelf we thought it would take. Not special ordered. Nothing fancy. Air filter etc. After further investigation, the mower wasn't worth the repair. Less than 2 weeks after purchasing the parts we had an employee go back to the store (45 mins away from the shop) and because of the virus, it was closed (adjusted hours). Ok. Our bad. We would call ahead when we returned. That was not an issue at all, we all are making adjustments and so we understood. Whatever....We would try again! 2 weeks after that we sent another employee, with the parts and the same CC used to but.....to return them. Nope. She was told she wasn't the purchaser. She can't return them. ? Huh? They also wouldn't let her pick up our special order item with the proper information. Just sent her away. We were in Idaho during this time (staying home per the orders of the states). We called ourselves hoping that would clear up the issue. Oh no, it sure didn't..... it's been more than 14 days!! so we were told by Brady in parts, no way would they except them back, at all and now for a completely different reason. I asked to talk to someone else. Brady came back and said the owner said no. Just NO. He said no. That call ended poorly because the tone and attitude he displayed was pompous and inappropriate. Wow. Are you kidding me? Ok ok. Soon after my husband (not me, the caller ) received a call/message from from a Chris from parts asking him to call him to get this taken care of. FINALLY someone to talk to with some sense. I mean seriously.... they were closed when they should be open so why wouldn't they accommodate a customer during this trying time? We all are doing our best. I called back since this was my purchase. We were offered..... 75% back. You know, charging us a 25% restocking fee! I asked again to speak to a manager and to please bend the policy and return it for a full refund. They refused since they were already bending the 14 day policy. But you weren't open!! So I offered to bring in the unopened, unused, non-special order items and place them myself on their shelf for them to get the full amount refunded. No. That's all they can do. That ALL they can do. Well. They obviously don't value their customers or need the business. Again, everyone has been observing a stay at home order and we are stuck in Idaho. You would think that in a reasonable amount of time they could accommodate a simple request. If you value customer service, professionalism (that matches the industry they work in) or even just want to deal with helpful people, go anywhere else but Jennings Power Equipment. read more

I've always been satisfied with their expertise and service here when I have purchased lawn mower parts in the past. This year I was in need of a new mower so I bought a new Honda here. After using the walk behind mower for a few months I was dissatisfied with how it worked. I called and was told to bring it in so their service department could check it out. The problem I was having was there seemed to be too much resistance when I had to pull the mower in reverse. This was my third Honda mower and I didn't remember the other mowers being that way. They said it was operating normally and the salesman said if I was dissatisfied I could have a full refund, which they did. Although I was sorry this mower didn't work out for me, I was very impressed with Jenning and would not hesitate to do business with them in the future. read more

I also have rented equipment from these guys and their rates are much more reasonable than other rental places when it comes to mini excavators and backhoes (United, Bunce, 410 rentals). read more
