The food is good but for some reason we always get sick when we eat here. It's happened twice already not sure why.

I've been here 3 times, and have loved everything I tried! The portions are good-sized and the flavors are bold. A couple dishes I tried had shrimp and they were big! I've only been during off peak times, but the service is exceptionally fast and friendly. I only wish it was closer to home! read more

The place is clean and the staff are friendly. They mainly serve authentic home style Shanghainese food such as braised pork with curd (百叶结红烧肉), braised minced eel (响油鳝丝), dry fried fish (乾煎小黃魚), and fresh & salted pork with bamboo shoot soup (腌篤鮮). One of my favorite dish is braised jumbo meat ball with vegetable (砂锅獅子頭). I'm really impressed by the freshness of the food. This is the first time we try this place. I find that location is kind of far from everywhere. I supposed the area will get more traffic and shop soon because of the new commercial area being developed a few blocks away. We ordered the duck cold dish, beef wrap, beef noodle soup and won ton soup. All of them are really good. Beef wrap and won ton soup are probably the best we have in Dallas area so far. I've ordered several times through Uber Eats, and the flavors are good and the food arrives fresh and fast. I'm just not sure about the cooking oil they use, I have horrible heartburn all day and the food never sits right. I would ask management to switch cooking oils. read more

Ordered uber eat to pick up from this restaurant. I don't understand why would this restaurant exit in Dallas. There are so many other Asian restaurants out there and this one is still open?? So I ordered basil style lunch, Kung pao style lunch, cumin lamb, garlic style lunch and thai ice tea. First of all, cumin lamb is the only dish that is eatable. The rest of other dishes don't taste good at all. I had to close my eyes and imagine myself is really poor then I could take some bites. And I believe they use instant white rice. I couldn't believe it. Like I said there are so many great Asian restaurants out there and why is this one still open? Second, if you don't know how to make Thai ice tea, don't sell them. I literally spit it out. I had never had thai ice tea taste like this. It's really really bad. I couldn't even take another sip. I'm having a hard time understanding why there are so many high reviews of this place. We ordered delivery using UberEATS, and I'm pretty disappointed. We ordered a variety: fried dumplings were ok (I'm talking they probably have the same vendor as the frozen ones from Trader Joe's), the Vietnamese eggrolls are just weird and oily and salty, the egg drop soup was packet quality, the general tso chicken was soggy but spicy as promised and well flavored. But seriously, let's go back to the egg rolls for a moment. I've never been that off put by a food item. They just look so gross! So oily that you can see thru them. And I understand that delivery time can affect the texture of fried foods, but I'm just left disappointed with our experience. If it weren't for the flavor of the chicken, this would be one star. Also, I have hope that eating at the location would yield higher results. Our search for tasty fast food Chinese/Asian fusion shall continue. read more

I decided to give this place another try and there has been a lot of improvement in both food and service. It's a very in expensive place to grab lunch for around $5-$7 range. Everything close to city line is usually going to cost you about $10+ so it's a nice quick cheap lunch. Will be coming here more often read more

Tried this restaurant based on the sheer volume of 5 stars & the great reviews on Yelp but it was pretty disappointing. Hunan chicken was sweet not spicy & chicken & broccoli was swimming in a watered -down garlic sauce. We were given plastic ware for dining in & the only hot mustard they had was in packets. I was hesitant to try this place for a long time even though it's right down the road from where I live. I actually ended up trying this out of desperation for something new and I'm glad I did. Bund Wok good, very good. I've tried the orange chicken and green onion pancake from here and both are top notch. Not only is Bund Wok authentic, but it's also affordable. They even do delivery, which I will take advantage of next time. The food came out quick and piping hot and it was delicious. The green onion pancake was huge and crispy on the outside but still tender and flaky inside. It really reminded me of being back in Shanghai eating food from street vendors. The orange chicken is not a dish I typically order because it's typically a very sweet Americanized dish, but it was amazing here. It was spicy and fragrant or orange. There was real orange peel perfuming the dish. It was great and not overly sweet like some places do it. All in all, for a hole in the wall Chinese takeout place, it really impressed and I will be ordering takeout from them soon when I just want to relax and enjoy some good food. read more

This is some real authentic Chinese food from Shanghai. The taste, the quality, the style is absolutely real Chinese food. Finally.. I found restaurant that has culture in there taste of food. I have ordered from here several times, pick up and dine in. I picked up the noodles and beef- delicious. I picked up shredded pork and bamboo. I doctored it a bit when I got to work, it wasn't spicy enough for me, but it was delicious too. I took my 9 and 6 yr old kids, who love Panda. My son only wants orange chicken from Bund Wok now. We had the green beans, they were SO GOOD! My daughter doesn't care for green beans and she ate a handful of them. The dumplings are good. Came here for dinner, and ordered walnut shrimp, Shanghai noodles, and spicy beef. Not particularly sexy and exciting choices by any means, so maybe it was my own fault that I left so unimpressed. Walnut shrimp was too saucy, and the other two dishes much too salty. We paid way too much for quality of the food. Maybe lunch is a more bang for your buck value, considering the kind of food they offer here. Also, the sea foam jasmine tea boba is $5. Because we live near "CityLine" Richardson, Texas, I'd been wondering what would go in the tiny shopping strip across from the QuikTrip (at the intersection of Plano Pkwy and Ave K) on the Ave. K side. Bund Wok! Gave it a try about two weeks after they opened and glad to tell you, we've been back a total of three times with more to come. Really like their food and the friendly, attentive service! It's a very clean restaurant. Great hours: M-Th 11 AM until 9:30 PM and F-Sa 11 AM until 10 PM. They deliver and you can take out. They've got an extensive menu with a generous assortment of everything you'd expect from Chinese cooking. I "judge" a restaurant that serves chicken fried steak by it. I judge a Mexican restaurant by their chili reyeno. I judge a Chinese restaurant by their Kung Pao Chicken. Bund Wok, in my opinion, has the best Kung Pao Chicken to be found. I've also had their orange chicken which is truly the best, too. The one thing I'd tell the owner(s) is to not have the atmosphere so quiet... its library quiet. I'd suggest they have Chinese music playing not too loud but just enough where you can carry a conversation and yet the folks nearby can't hear you. Yall do that and I'd love to have a business lunch or dinner there. Once CityLine's population develops and folks discover this diamond near the shadow of the George Bush Turnpike; Bund Wok is going to be very, very busy. read more

Amazing flavor! I got the Mongolian lamb and the meat was tender, it wasn't too salty like most Chinese, the only thing I didn't like was it was 2/3 onions and 1/3 lamb, and not enough scallions, but it was a large portion, so it still had a lot of lamb for the price. I ordered food to go for my boyfriend and I last night and it was amazing. We got mongolian beef, general tso's chicken, hot and sour soup, egg rolls, and crab rangoons. They were so nice and the food was ready to go in less than ten minutes. Everything was DELICIOUS. They even gave me a free tea drink when they sent me on my way. It was a really clean and cute place, and I definitely plan to go back and eat in soon. I live close by and this will be my go-to place whenever I am craving Chinese food. It's just GOOD. read more

Finally got around to trying this place (ordered through UberEATS). Was more than happy with what I got. Taiwanese Sausage: I grew up having this as a kid so the flavor was very familiar to me. It was exactly as I remembered and was delicious. It is sweeter than a traditional sausage so be prepared for that if you order it. Wonton Soup: This soup was very nice. It did not have that salty MSG taste that some soups have, so it leads me to believe it is possibly a homemade stock. Wontons are probably store-bought but not bad at all. And it was less salty than a lot of wonton soups that I've had. Orange Chicken: Pretty good. Chicken was a little dry but sauce, which was delicious, gave it a good amount of moisture and flavor. Mild is pretty mild and has very little spice. Lots of orange peel that give it an interesting flavor component. Great with white rice. Lo Mein: Finally a place that actually uses enough soy sauce to give their noodles flavor! There are so many times when all I get when I order this is a plate of bland undercooked noodles. Not here. These noodles don't even need the extra soy sauce I normally have to douse my undercooked noodles with. Perfect texture and size and flavor. Overall: The portions are pretty huge! Keep that in mind when ordering. I'm sure my orange chicken could feed 3 people easily. And my lo mein? Enough for a family of 4. Maybe my family just doesn't eat a lot. I don't understand the bad reviews based on what I received. Perhaps the quality is not consistent. I will try this place a couple more times and see! read more
