    Snail soup with chicken feet
    Brian Q.

The name of this place cracks me up because noodles are pretty much all they have. But that's not a bad thing when they are this tasty. We had a group of 8 for lunch on Friday. There wasn't any wait staff to be found so we seated ourselves and found a QR code for ordering. Water was self serve from a pitcher at the table. Ordering was a little bit confusing as you needed to make sure to checkout properly after adding to the order and not all submit at once if you're doing individually. We weren't sure what type of noodles to get as there aren't any photos so went with the default "noodle" option. Some time later, the cook began delivering our food in batches. I think the cook was the only one working there as he took our payment at the end too. Half of us got the spicy braised beef noodle soup and one pork bone soup and the rest the snail soup. Everyone was very happy with their orders although some commented the medium spice level on the snail soup was too spicy so be advised. The mild level had my nose running. The snail soup broth had a subtle sweetness from the snails although you won't find any snails in the soup itself. Snail soup often comes with fermented bamboo shoots which makes it a bit funky smelling but they didn't include any here which was fine by me. The noodles were plentiful and the beef was very tender and pulled in chunks from a large piece. My friend got the chicken feet and it looked like it could be cooked longer for more fall apart tenderness.

This is one of the few places in DFW that make authentic Guilin mifen. They totally do it right so I don't have to make a trip to my hometown to get it. We came in on a Saturday afternoon around 2 PM. This place is like a hidden gem; the sign outside is super small and tucked in a corner where you don't expect to see a restaurant. It was pretty empty when we came in so there were plenty of seats available. There was a sign on the door in Chinese that roughly translates to "Please seat yourself and scan the QR code at your table to order. Pour water and get tableware yourself. Clean up after yourself by putting your tableware in the bin at the back. Tip is not recommended. Thank you and welcome." This place is super nostalgic for me - it reminds me of those mom & pop street noodle shops in China where everything is self-serve, you get these tiny cheap looking seats if you're lucky, and you can smell the toppings wafting over as you get close. The difference was that this place's menu, ordering, and payment system were all digital and the restaurant was bigger. The menu is available in Chinese, English, and Spanish. Everything from seating to water & utensils to noodle bowl toppings to cleanup is self-serve. We scanned the QR code at the table and ordered Guilin Brine Rice Noodle, Roasted Pork Guilin Sauce w.Rice Noodle, Braised Beef Guilin Sauce w.Rice Noodle, and an extra Deep Fried Egg. The cashier, which was the only staff present other than the cook, brought our food out after 5-10 mins. The Deep-Fried Egg was kind of like a rice crispy but with egg and it was pretty good. All of the Guilin sauce noodle bowls are great. The noodles were right, the meat portions were plentiful, and the pork was fried perfectly so it was super crunchy. Everyone was pretty satisfied with their selections. Since toppings are self-serve, the flavor of the bowl is what you yourself make of it. I thought I did a pretty good job with mine for toppings except I put way too much Guilin sauce - I put 3 scoops. I failed to notice the sign above the toppings that say (in Chinese): "Guilin sauce - very salty, don't add too much, add a little at a time to taste". I think 1 scoop is normally plenty. Luckily the cashier will give you a complimentary soup because everyone makes that mistake - the soup is bland and can be used to balance the sauce, but will also ruin the flavor of the noodle bowl so it's better to just not make that mistake to begin with. When you're done eating, put your utensils, trash, and bowls in the bins at the back of the restaurant and wipe down your table for the next guest. You can pay with Apply/WeChat pay or credit card in the digital ordering system (QR code), or select the option to pay with the cashier (cash or card).

This is the place to go for luosifen. We went with low expectations but were wow-ed by the food. They opened recently and so it's very quiet. You scan the menu (qr code at the table) and order from your phone. They also have condiments at the little counter that you made grab. Place is spacious with ample seating. I ordered the thick noodle with pork intestine.

We've been back so many times! Love the snail noodles. Can't get it anywhere else in dfw!

We love this place! We've come back so many times. The snail noodles are delicious especially with the beef. So tender! Can't get this anywhere else.

This place serves very nice rice noodles and the soup is very sweet and savory. The taste is really authentic. I love that there are a bunch of side dishes that you can eat to your heart's content for free. Furthermore, there are also a bunch of extra toppings you can pick to enhance your experience. I would definitely visit again as this is such a great place.

The food was so good, I wasn't expecting it to be that good. Try it out if you are in the area.

Our noodle bowls were delicious, and we got to chat with the owner during our lunch. A lovely place to satisfy that soup / noodle craving.

We had an amazing first experience at Dirty Birds and will absolutely be back!…read more My husband ordered the 20-piece wings and got four different flavors--mango habanero, dirty jerk, dry rub, Bruce Lee, Wang, and Dr Pepper BBQ (we had to try as many as possible ). Every single one was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I had the chicken sandwich with mango habanero, pickles, and coleslaw (can't remember the name, but WOW--it was incredible). The balance of sweet, heat, and crunch was perfect. I ordered the mango habanero mixed sauces in the side and used them as a dipper just to control the heat just in case since it was my first time trying it. For drinks, I had the Crackberry cider and my husband had the Mango Cart--both were great choices. Our waitress, Aureli, was so sweet and attentive. And when her shift ended, Oryn (the bartender) took over seamlessly and made sure we were still taken care of--top-tier service all around. Oryn was the highlight of our visit. Just a solid, friendly and respectful dude with a great personality. The vibe is everything--90s R&B, chill atmosphere, sports on all the TVs. It's the perfect mix of sports bar energy with a laid-back, welcoming feel. We even met the owner, Chris, which made the experience feel even more personal. We also found out they do music bingo on Tuesdays from 7-9 PM, which we're definitely coming back for. Great food, great drinks, amazing service, and an all-around awesome vibe. 5 stars all the way!

We decided on a high-top towards the end of the bar since the Colts were being shown there. As for the interior, it's a typical sports bar setting with copious amounts of seating and tvs with your standard bar foods menu and plenty of beers and branded spirits available for order. We stuck with the miller lite which was pretty cheap and they always made sure it was full when we finished the previous one. As for food, I decided on wings with a jalapeno peach and the dirty jerk dry flavors. No issues with taste; the jalapeno peach is a solid one with a good blend of spice and sweetness. I'm a bit disappointed that for 10 wings, only 9 came with my order and when I mentioned it to our server/bartender, it went ignored. He probably didn't hear me bring it up since more people started coming in and the place was getting full. I should've brought it up again but likely got distracted by my team's lousy performance. I'm open to coming back here again. While this place is like any other sports bar, the affordable beers and that jalapeno peach flavors shouldn't be ignored.

Every table was dirty, and the table felt sticky. The bathrooms were disgusting, which we unfortunately had to navigate with a 2 year old - which makes the overall experience lose marks for not being family. The chicken was fine. I got the medium, which was so hot I could barely eat my meal. Coming from someone that loves spicy food...I was surprised. I normally order on the spicy side, but always medium when trying a new restaurant to gauge the spice level. The sandwich needs more coleslaw/sauce to balance the heat. Also, I wasn't aware that the meal didn't come with any sauce, and ended up having to buy some at the register after the fact. The chicken itself was well cooked, I just didn't feel like the experience was worth it for me or my family. Alsoc why does a restaurant with a soda fountain have Coke Zero but not Diet Coke?? Now that's just bizarre behavior lol.
