AMAZING! AMAZING! I'm obsessed! I've never had dumplings before and tried them here. Now I am craving soup dumplings with nowhere to get them where I live! We also got spicy wontons but I forgot to get a picture of it- which sucks because it was my favorite thing! The chili oil wasn't too spicy but was so flavorful and complimentary. The pork and cabbage dumplings were savory and filling. It feels like a home cooked meal wrapped into a little bite. The soup dumplings... man... don't even get me started! I thought it would just be juicy inside, but NO. They are not kidding. You bite into it and it's a mouthful of delicious, umami goodness. A literal soup dumpling. I don't know how they do it honestly! Service was fast and kind, explained the menu and what to expect. Super helpful and no nonsense. It's busy inside and feels like a family restaurant. Lots of groups and families eating together. 10/10 and now I'm obsessed!

Back here with an updated review for Wu Wei Din! Still the best pan fried dumplings I've had in Dallas but eager to try other places! The host handling takeout orders doesn't have the warmest disposition. I would say that's my only complaint.

I came here today for lunch. This was my first time. It was busy, so I figured that was a good sign and indication that food was good. It's very nice inside with bar and tvs. There are plenty of parking. I was seated right away by the host and the server came to take my drink order. The menu is very extensive. I was happy to find my favorite dish; salt and pepper shrimp. I also ordered Leek turn over. I love anything Leek, chive and green onions. The food came out right away, nice and hot. They were delicious! They were very attentive and asked how was everything and if I needed anything. I thought the price was good too. $30 plus tip($37). Over all, I was very happy and I will definitely come here again.

One of my favorite places to eat. The food is absolutely amazing. Their new location is big and easy to get seated. They get busy so on our last visit, they did forget one of our items. There isn't enough staff for the amount of customers they get but the food does hit the table fast. I would advise not to drink their tap water as it has a taste. Other than that, I am happy with the price point and the flavor.

My sister recommended we check out this spot when I was visiting Plano and my husband ended up saying this was his HIGHLIGHT of our entire trip. What a fun spot! The place was packed on the Tuesday evening we went. Thankfully, they have a large space inside with lots of tables. We didn't have a reservation but were able to get seated within about 15 minutes. We ordered a variety of options to share. I loved the cucumber salad, Dan Dan noodles with pork, and the hot and sour soup. I like how the food came out in waves. My nieces enjoyed the fried pork chop. I paired my meal with the Lychee martini and it was so good- not too strong. My only recommendation is for the staff to be better attentive to filling water. Our cups were dry and we had to flag the staff to get a refill. We will definitely stop here on our next trip.

I hardly ever get anything besides the Chicken Vegetables, but I've been thinking about the Taiwanese Pork Chop Rice ever since I had it. Very delicious and well-rounded meal. Service is always very kind and succinct here, and the restaurant is always very tidy. I think I like this location even more than the one in Lewisville!

The interior was decorated SO cute for Christmastime! Our server was prompt and extremely attentive, checking in on us regularly during our visit. The xiao long bao was extremely fresh. The broth was delicious and balanced perfectly with the dipping sauce. I loved the generous amount of shrimp in the shrimp and pork dumplings. The entire menu looks delicious. My dining partner ordered the soup with pork dumplings which also looked incredible. This was my first time at this new location, and they did an incredible job with it. Wu Wei Din definitely is top tier on my list of favorite Chinese restaurants in DFW. Recommend!

I've visited Wu Wei Din several times since moving to the DFW area and it is definitely a hit! The restaurant can get busy especially on the weekends, so there might be a line but we have never had a super long wait. Service is also pretty quick once you put your order in! Pretty much everything we've tried at Wu Wei Din has been great, and some of my favorites include the Shanghai kaofu, pork soup dumplings, pan fried pork buns, and fried string beans. Highly recommend visiting here if you're looking for solid Chinese food that's similar to Din Tai Fung!

Place super packed on a Friday night at 6pm. Luckily we had reservations. But wow, every seat in the house was taken. Even though they were packed they were very fast! Servers came up and took our order for our 10 person group, including drinks and appetizers. And I would say about 10-15 minutes out they started serving. Which to me was very impressive. We sort of went family style, trying out each other's dishes. But I have to say I enjoyed their pork soup dumplings. And my flat beef noodle. I ate the whole plat for the flat noodles. The onions they have in it made it just right. Our crew was there for about 2 plus hours, and the wait staff was chill about it. Probably because we kept on ordering. Atmosphere wise this restaurant is a nice place for a full family or just date nite. The ambiance works for both small or large groups. Overall a great experience, glad we checked them out.

There were a lot of empty seats dinner time on a Wednesday. Food came out decently fast. Water tasted a bit off. - Xiao Long Bao 5/5 The skin is on the thicker side but to counter that it's VERY juicy. It's very juicy and there's a lot of broth inside the XLB. It's very hot so be careful. They bring you a side of ginger in black vinegar, which you can add soy sauce and chili oil. Ask for more ginger! - Spicy Pork Wontons 4.4/5 Almost tasted like din tai fung! The taste is ALMOST there. Pretty yummy dish. - Hot and Sour Soup (S) 3.7/5 It wasn't that sour but it had a lot of ingredients and was pretty decent. They didn't have white pepper only black pepper, which I added. They also put a scoop of chili oil on top, which is unique. - Beef Flat Noodle 1.8/5 I thought the beef was over cooked and too chewy, and the whole dish lacked a little bit of seasoning. - Salt and Pepper Shrimp 3.7/5 Fried shrimp pieces tossed with bell peppers, onions, and Jalapeno. It wasn't a lot of fried shrimp pieces as I'd expect. It was also on the saltier side. Came with a bowl of rice. Free parking in lot.

Orange chicken, fried pork chop appetizer, cucumber salad!
    Angelica A.

I ordered takeout for my first time here. I got the cucumber salad and fried pork chop appetizer. Cucumber salad was typical & good. The fried pork chop was large and cut into slices. It was a bit on the soft side instead of crispy. The orange chicken was very tasty. Most pieces were meaty and a few were mostly crust but still yummy. The green onions and chili seasoning was perfectly balanced. It's also a large portion & worth the money!

Came here again with some family close to their lunch closing time and got to try their items with meat. Side note, they do allow you to sit in the restaurant during their lunch closing time, but no ordering their that time. To begin, I can confidently say that my favorite item is their flat noodles; got it with beef and was amazing. We also got their pork xiao long bao, spicy wontons, and their pan fried pork bun; all were pretty good. The size of the pan fried pork buns are pretty small, but good for sharing. We also got their braised pork belly which wasn't the most tender but was still okay. I also really liked their dan dan noodles; they had a great peanut flavor and was less brothy than other places which I like. I also got to try their taro xiao long bao and it was very yummy. Will definitely be coming back for flat noodles FOR SUREE.

Was always curious about this place and decided to check it out. Everything is nice and clean. Staff was nice and attentive. We enjoyed everything and it was flavorful. Chicken fried rice was a little bland but great for the kids -chicken fried rice: 3/5 - pan-fried pork buns: 5/5 - pork soup dumplings 4/5 - scallion pancakes: 5/5 - spicy wonton - 4/5

This place is absolutely made for a group outing, and we're already planning to come back with a group to take full advantage. The food was a delight. The Singapore noodles had this wonderful curry flavor that I absolutely loved, and the combo fried rice was just as satisfying. We also ordered the Peking duck (P1 on the menu). It was good, though not quite as flavorful on its own as we'd hoped. That said, once you load it up with the hoisin, cucumber, and spring onions, it all comes together beautifully. The bao buns that came with it were soft and delicious, honestly a highlight. We also sipped on hot jasmine tea throughout, which was the perfect, refreshing complement to the whole meal. Finally , someone from my table had to address this personally and confronted the loud group and asked if they could tone down their enthusiasm so we, and other patrons, could enjoy our evening at the restaurant. They only cut the noise for a few minutes and started again with the loud voices and over boisterous laughter . We were greatly disappointed with the staff and the overall establishment.
