This little eatery was snuck away in a strip center across from my hotel. I was in the mood for Chinese, but not a "Panda Express". Jupiter was busy with takeout, and I was the only person eating in. The BYOB sign was very helpful as I was able to sneak over to the 7-11 and grab a 6 pack!!! I ordered the jalapeño chicken and I asked for more heat, and they did it well! This Jalepeno chicken wasn't a typical dry type like you see at most Chinese places. This had a delicious wet sauce. Portion size was adequate for a 13 dollar plate and I chose fried rice! I also added an order of their Spicy wings and an egg roll. The spicy wings were out of this world! Excellent flavor, depth, crunch, spice and heat! Loved the bits of onion cooked with them. Service was quick and kind, and they had like four people come in to pick up orders in the 10 minutes we were there, so it's pretty popular. The ambiance is pretty standard for a Chinese restaurant. The prices are a little higher than I expected; I think it was $10.99 for chicken fried rice and I'm used to ~$8 for that, but you get a lot of food and you're supporting local! Everything we ordered was really good, from chicken fried rice to egg drop soup, orange chicken and steamed dumplings. They even had crispy noodles with the soup (my favorite)!!! Their customer service is outstanding - they forgot part of my order, offered to drive it to me and gave me free egg rolls and rangoons. I rate this restaurant an A+ and will order from them again. My main complaint though is that the containers were not leak-proof, which caused a mess inside the bag. On Christmas Eve. We ordered delivery. The food came fast and hot. No issues, especially on one of the busiest nights of the year for Chinese food. Now to the food. It was gross. The beef lo mein was greasy and the beef was too chewy. The sesame chicken was rubbery and the General Tso chicken was not properly seasoned. And the egg drop soup looked green and tasted funny. Egg rolls were good, though. With so many great Chinese restaurants in the area, we won't have a problem finding a great place. Back to Jeng Chi! read more

Orange Chicken: 3 stars (5 if they improved the chicken quality, lots of cartilage/dark meat) Egg rolls: 2 stars (odd flavor) Rice: 1 star (really odd flavor) Pot stickers: 3 stars I was surprised how bad the rice was and how close the chicken was to being great. Hands down the best Chinese food in the metroplex. Don't go anywhere else. It's consistently delicious and the portions are perfect for the price. I ordered pick up via yelp. The order status was updated and I was notified when ready. I walked in and picked up order with my name tag on it. Fast, easy, and convenient. I drove 5 minutes to my destination and the order was hot and correct when I was ready to sit down and eat. I ordered the P11 Spicey chicken with fried rice. $9.99 + $1.00 for fried rice + tax. $11.36 total. The portion was very large with plenty of chicken, jalapeno's, hot pepper and onions. It was 2 lunches for me. The second day was very good heated in a microwave. I have no complaints. This is a take out place. Yes they have a few tables to sit down, but no ambiance. We placed an order for delivery through their website. I had questions about T21 "Shrimp Sateed Egg". That sounds kind of like Egg Fu Young, which they told me they could make a while back. I thought maybe, just maybe, this was it. But there is no description beyond the title. I tried calling several times but never got an answer, so I took a chance. In addition, my wife wanted P15 Kung Pao Chicken. This dish is supposed to be chicken with "Peanuts, Zucchini, Red Pepper, Green Pepper". I ordered it with one modification- "no green pepper". It turns out T21 is just shrimp in scrambled eggs with a few scallions. It wasn't bad, it was actually quite tasty when I hit it with some soy sauce and pepper oil. But it was just plain eggs and shrimp, and not what I had hoped for. My Bad! For the record, Egg Fu Young typically includes scrambled eggs, a protein (my fav is shrimp), bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, cabbage, spring onions, mushrooms, and water chestnuts made into an egg patty served with a brown sauce. The P15 Kung Pao Chicken came with just chicken and peanuts. No red pepper. No Zucchini. I'm not sure what happened to the red pepper and Zuchinni. I'm still giving a "good" rating because the food always arrives quickly, and is hot and is well prepared, even if it is not exactly correct. I wish they would add shrimp egg fu young to the menu! read more

So, I've lived near this place for some time and never considered patronizing Jupiter China until recently. I wanted some teriyaki salmon and lo and behold, they have it!! I ordered on their website and went to pick it up. My order took longer than I expected but I was well pleased with my food. I received more salmon than I wanted and loved the amount of sautéed veggies (onions, carrots, mushrooms) that was "swimming" in the teriyaki sauce. The salmon was slightly crunchy, which I love, and had the right amount of seasoning and sauce. I ordered my dish along with steamed broccoli, to add some more color. Pairing the two was only right. I had enough sauce to drizzle on my broccoli. This was music to my belly. I will definitely order this dish again from Jupiter China. It was that delicious!! read more

Nothing about this meal was lacking...the beef was tender, chicken juicy and REAL large shrimp. Next was their house combination fried rice....Two words: HELL YEAH!!! Peas, carrots, eggs, chicken, shrimp & beef it reminded me of the fried rice out East. Full of flavor, freshness and piping hot. New to the game for me was their Salt & Pepper chicken wings. I'll try anything once....AND I AM SO GLAD I DID. Those wings were seasoned perfectly, decent size and flavorful to say the least. For an appetizer we tried the crab rangoon and chicken egg rolls. Again AMAZING!!!. I feed myself plus two coworkers for about ten dollars each. Which wasn't bad at all and we still had plenty leftover. I ordered the House Fried Rice which is the fried rice, including shrimp, chicken & beef. The three shrimp I got were big, the beef was tender & the chicken was tasty. It came along with an egg roll. The fried rice was really good & with such a large portion, I have more than half of it leftover to eat tomorrow. It's definitely enough to share.
